Best wood for the best price! Great family owned business . We've been using them for a few years now, and are so thankful for them.

We moved in about a month ago, and with the house being practically turn-key, our backyard, on the other hand, was a blank slate for imagination. I got together with Victor at the Nursery and safe to say I was never disappointed. He's very friendly, and welcome my fiancé and I in like family. He drove us around in his car showing us different properties he had worked on and the owners of the homes welcomed him in with open arms, pretty transparent if you ask me. You know exactly who you're hiring. He has the trust of the whole town. So We decided to section it off so we will have more land for further projects like a pool and shop/storage. Etc. We are so pleased with the amount of work and thought that went into this with our new friend Victor and his crew at the Acton Nursery. They showed up on time everyday, were very respectful, diligent, hardworking and were done in 2 weeks on the exact day they told me, money well spent. He and his crew were such a pleasure to work with and they know what they're doing. He knows his plants and landscaping very well. My experience here was great. Friendly ,great pricing on their wood. I highly recommend this place.

I had to leave a review because some things were right and some not. I bought a cord of mixed firewood. The staff was polite and prompt, and the prices are fair. The wood seemed seasoned, but some is good, and some is really bad. ALL of the cord is cut & split way too large for normal fireplace use (and I have a good sized old style fireplace). The pieces are so large I can't lift most of them with a single hand, and burn smoky unless the fire is roaring and large; some are just smokey regardless. I am planning to rent a spitter to split it all so i can use it. My suggestion ... if you can't find almond wood in the AV, hunt around in Santa Clarita and get that delivered; it is there to be had. read more

My family has been buying firewood from Victor for a few years now. Always been good until today. I couldn't go so my wife stopped by after picking up the kids from school. Victor told her it would be 200.00 for a half cord. Thats about the going rate these days. What are you going to do. Any way when she got home the kids unloaded the wood. When I got home, I noticed not only did it look short it was junk wood. Half of it was only good for kindling. It was supposed to be eucalyptus which is a very hard wood. Alot of this wood was very soft. Felt more like pine. I called to complain, and Victor was very short with me. He said to load it up and bring it back for a refund. Thats not going to happen. I offered to bring my little Toyota over for a few pieces of wood to make up the difference. He blew me off and said to bring it back. Well Victor it's obvious you don't care if you lose customers. My family has bought firewood and used your nursery for at least ten years. I'm sorry to say we won't be in need of your services any longer. It's too bad because a simple I'm sorry sir and few dollars of wood would have solved the problem. read more

I can't believe this place has no other Yelp reviews yet. We have used them to landscape our back area and arena. They have a wonderful selection of local, native plants and trees as well as others that are acclimated for our difficult climate zone. The owner is always very helpful. They deliver for a nominal charge. They will plant your trees for an additional charge which is very helpful with the larger ones! We have received lots of free advice and a guarantee on the plants/trees. I'd highly recommend them. read more

Victor Quesado is the biggest baby I have ever seen in my life. Hired his crew mainly to take care of my roses because I have a lot of them. They have been on the job about a month and a half and they have trimmed 4 rose bushes. I have about 50. They come here now the lawn and blow leaves and leave. My yard waste bin isn't filled with rose clippings and leaves and grass it is just leaves mainly. Their is space for rose clippings but they aren't doing it. Victor comes to my house after I left him a voicemail about how his guys need to take care of the roses. He complains that I haven't paid his crew. I thought he was invoicing me. I tell him I will pay him and he says I called him a liar and drives away. I have never in my life seen a business owner act like such a baby. Especially when I was willing to address his issue but he makes excuses with my issues. If I see him again, I will drop him. Plain and simple. read more
