The receptionist has always been nice but as far as the actual pharmacist he is truly a cruel person. I was trying to get my prescription transferred over to another pharmacy because he didn't look at new incoming prescriptions. This medication was sent from the doctor 2 days prior to me showing up. He told me he would have to order it, and it would take a week....Isn't that something you would call the patient to let them know ? I had another pharmacy call them to get it transferred and they ignored their calls. Forcing me to call back and get this sent over. The pharmacist SCREAMED at me over the phone which was completely unprovoked by me. He cussed at me and I literally have never been treated like that by anyone in my life. I will make for SURE; me, my entire family, friends, and new neighbors NEVER EVER give their business to him.

I was advised they would not give me my medication until I got my insurance ID number. So on round three I went in today with my ID number. Today was the first time somebody told me there was two accounts and nobody bothered to check that. When I came in this morning at 9 AM there was an overflow of discarded medical trash. When I came in 4 PM it was still there and even worse. Watched somebody blatantly walk out of the store with stolen merchandise because there is no security. I don't know what's going on with this place in the last couple days but it's pretty disappointing.

The person I originally spoke to was very pleasant and told me that yes, I can do it that way or through their mobile app. I asked again if it would be an issue for me to do it through the drive through and was told I can do it either way. When I pulled up to the drive through there was a different lady there than the one I had originally spoken with. She told me that she could not sell it to me and I would have to download the app and do curbside pickup. I explained to her that I had just called and was told it would be ok to do it this way. She was not understanding at all and I had to argue with her that I had just called to check and was told it would be ok. She ended up selling me the at home covid test but with an attitude. I'm already sick and feeling like crap, I made sure to call and check in advance and when I show up I get told something completely different. I tried to apologize because maybe she didn't know but she was not friendly at all and made me never want to come back to this location again. I did not make the mistake here, I spoke with the pharmacy department and got the okay. If there was a mistake made it was on their end and they shouldn't take it out on the customer but correct the employee. Very unprofessional and bad customer service.

The doctor said that is reasonable and put the refills in. Everyone knows that when you move across country that you need some time to get there, you need time to get your home situated and you need time to find a new doctor/care team. I called the WalGreens on 30th and W Ave L to ensure that they would be able to fill without any issue on the 2nd of June...two weeks from now. They put all through the system except the sleeping aide. Both of my insurances paid and she said I could pick those up on the 2nd of June. She said I needed my doctor to call the pharmacist to discuss the sleeping aide and get approval. I called my doctor and she called the pharmacy to get approval. The doctor's office called back and said that they would not fill my prescriptions because I was moving. A few minutes after getting off the phone with my doctor the pharmacy called and said I was not traveling I was moving and that they would not fill it because it was fraud!!!! I told her it wasn't fraud...I was moving and it would take me several weeks to travel there and get situated with my 82 year old dad who is a Vietnam vet. They had all the prescriptions revoked in the system! I called their corporate office and submitted a complaint. An hour later the pharmacist, Veronica (another employee gave me her name), called me from the store and said she did not understand my complaint. When I explained it to her again she got agitated and said I was making excuses because there are pharmacies where I was going and I could have the refills transferred. I did just get 2 of the meds refilled last week but by the time I get there I will be out and I will have just arrived there. I have never in my life had this issue when moving or traveling with a pharmacy. I explained this to her and she said to have my insurance call her to give approval. When I told her they did that when her employee put it into the system in the first place my insurances approved the travel exemption...that is why they had that. She said it was fraud and hung up on me. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. This pharmacist is untrained, rude, and power hungry. Blue Cross federal and Tri care should cancel their contracts with this company. If there are exceptions people can use for traveling there is not reason we should not be able to use them when traveling.

I called the pharmacy to inform them and to replace the medicine but this pharmacist insisted they can only mix it. She said that "sometimes they're running around and forget to mix it because they're so busy" which made me very uneasy that they're so quick to make a mistake on a child's medicine and have no accountability for it. She continued on to say that she won't do anything but mix it, but You can't mix a medication that has been tampered because it risks the dosing being wrong. I went in person, as a different cvs told me they have to replace it as it's their mistake, and while talking to a completely different pharmacist, this one interrupted the conversation to again argue that they would only mix it. She refused to let anyone else handle the matter and told me to "take the bottles out of her face" while slamming them on the counter. I told her my daughter has kidney disease and any misdosing could cause serious issues and she showed 0 compsssion. This woman should not be in a field requiring so much responsibility and empathy. If your pharmacy made a mistake, own it, don't tell me it wasn't a mistake. Gaslighting a mother who is trying to do her best for her infant is the most disturbing way to abuse power.
