I called to see if they take my health insurance and they do also they have early hours on Saturdays. WIN WIN! So I tried it today for the first time. I have to say I came out feeling like my body was still on the SO comfy bed! Soooooooo relaxed! Dr. He Hon Lao uses more needles then my other place. I like that he sits with you to talk to see why you are truly there. His office gives you a home away from home feeling, And when you walk in you smell this amazing sent like eucalyptus it is VERY relaxing and makes your breathing so remarkable! It literally opens your nasal passage so if you suffer from allergies of sinus problems his office is a MUST! He also added two needles by my nose to open sinus. I really like this place recommended 100% OH one thing he does it ALL! No receptionist, so the wait time will be a bit high... BUT OH SO WORTH THE WAIT! His office was a bit full. Amazing!!!

But the second time was somehow even better and I have made it a personal mission to come at least once a month for her magic. It feels like she is physically inside your body like you are a master masseuse and massaging yourself. All the points you want hit, she hits. All the places you want her to stay, she stays. I do not know how but I've never had such an intuitive masseuse. She finds connections to your pain points that you don't even know are connected. The latest example is that this week I had a horrible crick in my neck from sleeping with my head turned one way. It was so bad that an entire day I couldn't turn my neck one way without turning my whole upper body. I didn't even mention it to her but during the massage, she somehow felt it and paid special attention to the left side of my neck. Exactly where I had hurt it. It's crazy to me. I feel actually fucked up walking out of the massage in the BEST way. Like delirious. If you've had a REALLY good massage, you know exactly what I'm talking about. However Bianca, was so nice--she was able to accommodate us for another date (which we were fine with) at no charge. She calmed me down a lot being that I'm 9 months pregnant. Super sweet and just went beyond. So upon arriving for our actual appts--Bianca greeted us right away. Took our coats and we were led upstairs within 5 mins. They offered tea or water. They provided us robes/slippers and our own little cubby with a lock and key. We waited maybe 5 more mins after we got dressed --then we got taken upstairs. Very calming inside for sure. Andrew was superb! The best. Abs book with him. He was great. For a prenatal massage I felt amazing afterwards. He informed me that there will be times he's going to ask about guidance specifically the hips since that's where I'm bothered the most being that pregnant people can really only sleep on their sides. I don't have any issue with needles at all so I don't mind getting acupuncture done and I've never had any problems at this place. It is not super fancy but it's at a good price. And I've never had to share my space with another person, which is nice because there is some privacy. I have convinced my boyfriend to come too, he doesn't even like needles but now he goes regularly because the doctor is so helpful. It can get loud in there if you go on the weekend afternoon for example because it is a tight space, but generally it is fine. She also does massage (tui na), cupping, and can "prescribe" you herbs for various ailments.
