I went in for a second opinion just to have the doctor look in my eyes and see if I'm okay to get a SLK procedure by another doctor he said yes it's okay but when I left after whatever they did to me I had stinging in my eyes felt like there was something in my eye it hurt it stung I had to go back to them for eye drops and they wanted to cancel my appointment and part of me some things that they did it on purpose so they can make more money billing my insurance twice read more

Horrible horrible horrendous customer service. I had made an appointment two months out and was texted 2 days before my appointment that my referral needed to be resent from my doctor. They resent it to the fax number given and when I followed up I was told by the representative that the fax number was for corporate not this location. She was rude and couldn't care less they gave the wrong number. I cancelled my appointment and found another ophthalmologist that could see me in a day. I suspect this office has become too busy. Dr. Patel did not have time to spend with us to discuss my mother's eye care needs and medication. He was not rude but it was clear he didn't have time for us. We did not receive any after visit information, not even a discussion of test results like we are used to getting with her previous specialist. Now we have a problem with a medication and the office takes days and days to respond or we get cut off by the answering system and can't even leave a voice mail. We plan to clear out some space and find a different doctor who isn't too busy to give careful, attentive care. read more

I am only giving two stars because of the front office staff. If it wasn't for them, they'd be getting zero. I had a good experience up until I saw Dr. Patel. Everyone in the office was so friendly even the back office assistant (male), he told me how nice and great Dr. Patel was and that I'd absolutely love him. I don't know if Dr. Patel was just having a bad day but this was the worse eye doctor appointment I've ever had. And I've been seeing eye doctors since I was 6 months old, I'm 32 now. The way Dr. Patel walked in the room with no smile, no eye contact just a short hi how are you. He then looks at my info on the computer, looks at my eyes for a total of 2 min and tells me he's done. I ask him if he's going to do anything else and he says "No you can go". I went in because my vision has been getting blurry and it's getting worse each day and I tell him this only for him to reach over grab eye drops and hand them to me. Didn't say a word, didn't even look at me. He just wanted me to leave. Didn't say "bye" or "have a nice day". Keep in mind I was waiting for this appointment for months. Only to be treated like I didn't matter. Or my vision doesn't matter. I went home crying asking myself if I offended him? Or is it because I'm Mexican? Dr. Patel didn't ask me any questions, didn't show any concern for my eyes or even for my feelings. I never had such a cold, detached doctor before. I hope someone can speak to him because this isn't the way to be around patients that genuinely need their help. read more

Two years ago, I got an exam, frames and lenses. It was almost $500 and I was never satisfied with the quality of the frames. The man who fit my glasses was inpatient with me and dismissed my concerns. I have the same insurance this year and went to Walmart optical for all the same services. It was $70 for the same services, including exam. The staff was more patient and caring at Walmart. The frames are much better quality than Acuity. I've also had good experiences at Costco, but they don't take my insurance. read more

I'm a physician who lives out of state. In the hours before a holiday weekend began, I developed a severe eyelid infection, which was quite painful, and a bit frightening. Dr. Patel's office booked me for an urgent appointment within about an hour, gave me a thorough evaluation, diagnosed the problem, arranged for a prescription at a location convenient for me, and personally arranged follow up with an ophthalmologist in my home state. By the time I booked that appointment, he had all the relevant information and was ready for me. I must say that I feel very grateful. read more

I would give this facility no Stars if I could. While trying to find a business to accept my new vision insurance I found that this business was on my providers site. I called their call center, provided my insurance and booked the appointments for my family. 1 week before my appointment I receive a voicemail that said they don't accept my appointment and will have to cancel. I immediately call them back and ask them to confirm they accept my insurance because they are listed on my providers website. Another day goes by and they return my call, of course I was correct, they do accept my insurance but they have already cancelled all of our appointments and filled them so we would have to wait additional time to get another appointment. Then I'm told they can't schedule all of the appointments in a time together because that's their policy when they booked them that way the 1st time. She says that's not their policy. Then tells me I will have to book separate appointments to reschedule. There are clearly management and employee issues at hand if they can't even verify what insurance they accept and don't accept. At no point in the call did anyone acknowledge that they were at fault for any of the issues, cancelling of appointments, verification of insurance or scheduling of a family. They make no effort to accept responsibility for their poor training or the mishandling of our family. If you expect customer service and care please find another practice. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. I have never received worse care than I have today at an optometrist. The only person that was great was their technician named Luis. He had great customer service and was the only one with a sincere apology. I had an appointment at 8 am which I arrived for at 755 am. The doors were locked and no one was here, but they said they opened at 730 am on the phone and the building. When they finally opened the doors at 755 am the receptionist said they didn't open until 8 am, but needed to "change the sign". I spoke with the reliable technician who said this was a work in progress and had not happened yet, so that was the first lie that the receptionist told me. Then after waiting for 20 minutes for a doctor to arrive. She finally came in and took 15 minutes to get herself ready while being late due to traffic. The doctor had enough time to bring donuts with herself, but not show up on time to work. Then the doctor comes out and calls the patient that was scheduled after me. I was certain of this because the receptionist loudly told the entire waiting room what the order was before the doctor arrived. Then I verified with the receptionist and the doctor did in fact take the patient that was after me first. The receptionist had no customer service and basically said yeah it's wrong but it happened. She then proceeded to tell me I could reschedule my appointment because I had to have my eyes dilated and work later in the afternoon. However, the only appointment time with my work time is at 8 am and I don't get very many days off. She did not care and said well then you can wait if you want (granted this was ALREADY 50 minutes AFTER MY APPOINTMENT TIME AMD I WAS THE FIRST APPOINTMENT OF THE DAY). Don't come here. Find a better optometrist that actually cares about you as a patient and customer. read more

Worst eye glass place I've ever had to deal with. I called them and told the optometrist I was going to pick up my sons glasses the day before. Upon arrival they told me they couldn't give me the glasses cause the optometrist was going to be out for a week. A trip there could have been avoided if he would of told me the day before when I called them, so unprofessional and no communication, and unwilling to help the dilemma. read more

Dr. Patel is soooo great! He told me I had the biggest, thickest, ugliest cataract. He removed it via laser and did the other eye.
