I cannot recommend Dr. Hossini enough. From the moment we walked into his office, everything was clean, welcoming, and professional. My 5 year old daughter has been experiencing some odd symptoms, and I wanted to start by exploring her vision. While her vision turned out to be fine, Dr. Hossini went above and beyond and had a great convo with me about other options/next steps to get to the bottom of things, and asked me to keep him updated on her progress. My husband, 3.5 year old daughter and I live in North Park and heard that Dr. Hossini was the one to see. His office is not in a location that we normally gravitate to (he's in Chula Vista inside a Walmart) but it was surprisingly easy to get to and I'm glad we did! Dr. Hossini was so relatable to our family. This was my daughter's first eye exam (he suggested that 2 was a good age to start - good to know!) and she had so much fun. He made the exam easy and exciting for her, she's still talking about it. For my husband and myself, everything was explained in a way we could follow. Everything you need and nothing you don't. They aren't for serious eye concerns, but if you are looking for a simple prescription, this is the place to go. Super friendly but very professional doctor! Unlike many places that try to suck you into buying their products, they don't seem to care about giving you a prescription and letting you go on your own to order online or whatever. Dr Hossini has been our family Optometrist for the past 3 years. Today he saw my 14 year old daughter. Was at Walmart trying to get a new box contacts when I was told my prescription was expired--luckily there is an optometrist right next door! I go in and find that to my surprise they do walk-ins. I was surprised at how quickly the staff took my information and it was not long before the doctor was able to see me. Dr. Tabibzadeh provides a very thorough examination and definitely knows her stuff. She was able to catch an eye problem that previous optometrists I had seen never noticed. My prescription came out perfect! She also made me feel very at ease considering I have a phobia of people touching my eye. This is a great office for children. I just adopted a 4 year old girl from South America and suspected she was not seeing well. The office staff was lovely and did a great job speaking in Spanish to my daughter and communicating clearly with me about every step in the process. The optometrist has children himself, which was evident in his interaction with my daughter. It was convenient that the office is located in Walmart and I was able to pick up an inexpensive pair of glasses for her to start wearing this month. I was very happy with the care she received. I happened to be in town visiting family and I decided to get an eye exam because I ran out of contacts. Dr Tabibzadeh was amazing! I was having problems with my eyes for a while and I found out that they were really dry and neglected for a long time which my Dr. in New York never mentioned to me. She took her time to find the perfect contacts for my specific eye condition and she explained to me why they would work and feel better in my eyes. She also made sure that I was happy with them. I was very used to quick eye exams where the Dr. basically asks you if your happy with your current prescription and then just basically writes you another one. Dr. Tabibzadeh really took her time to see what was going on with my eyes and she educated me on simple eye care that would help alleviate my problems. I didn't have to wait long even though I didn't have an appointment. She acknowledged me right away and said that she would be with me as soon as she was done with her current patient. I really feel that she delivered a high level of service not just to me, but to all the other patients that were there as well. I strongly recommend her and her practice. read more
