Meeting Jillian for the first time today I must say she was extremely knowledgeable and definitely knew what to focus on. She poked(pun definitely intended) her way around based on the info that I shared with her about my pains, inflammation, vertigo, and health issues. It was a lot and I was surprised her eyes didn't glaze over and she didn't become exhausted. While learning about me she had time also to check on two other patients while her assistant was out of the office. She clearly doesn't have ADD and can multitask with the best of them. All playfulness aside; I was truly impressed with my first visit. She used needles this first visit and it immediately alleviated the pain in the back of my head and neck. It took the pain out of my knee, and surprisingly it calmed my vertigo symptoms down a bit. I have been struggling with vertigo for the past month now and whatever she did; gave me a little relief for now. She shared me a lot of tips on how to change my diet and also started me on some herbs. Overall I was very pleased and looking forward to feeling and getting better. Unfortunately I had to find a new acupuncturist because my insurance was out of network and coming in to see her twice a week was averaging out to be 275 to 300 a week. Plus she really didn't want to file the insurance. She said she would give me a discount, but paying her was like paying rent. I found a new acupuncturist that takes my insurance. read more

We first came to hear about AcuPremier from a friend when they held a complimentary "parking lot, de-stress, acupuncture session".  The acupuncturists came to the car in masks and gloves and placed the acupuncture needles in our ears. We thought this was such a good idea during these Covid-19 times and it really did help!  So much so that I scheduled an appointment for my wife with Ana Paula for her Birthday. The office at Acupremier is very clean, modern and has plenty of parking. We were greeted by Ana Paula (whom wore a mask and face shield) where she did a thermal temperature scan and provided us with hand sanitizer. The intake form is all done on an ipad (that was sanitized) which made things easy. This all sounds like a bit much, but to us it was very reassuring that we were going into a session where all Covid-19 guidelines were adhered to for service providers. Per my wife, Ana Paula performed a thorough assessment, listened patiently to her concerns and provided a relaxing session that improved her overall wellbeing. On top of that she provided cupping which she never had before and found effective. It's hard during these Covid-19 times to venture out and do the things we enjoy. However, if you want to take the edge off and relieve aches, pains and or stress in a clean, sanitized and safe environment, I would highly recommend a session at AcuPremier with Ana Paula. Jillian is a HEALER!!! I came in to get acupuncture as I am battling the worst sciatic nerve pain I've ever experienced. I've tried everything. PT, pain meds, stretching, steroids. You name it. Jillian is amazing. I first went to her immaculate and peaceful clinic (it's like being in a spa) over a month ago because of my TMJ pain. I first went to see her more than 2 years ago for my persistent headaches that was not going away with Advil or Tylenol and the physician was trying to prescribe me with higher doses which I did not want to take or rely on. Jillian Wang is a miracle worker! I'm a long distance runner and often have calf trouble. This time around it literally stopped me from running for several weeks. I finally visited Jillian after being referred to her through someone at YoSan. In 2 sessions my calf was back to normal. Im not going to lie- the treatment was painful and I was very sore for the rest of the day and day after but it was worth it. I have been a patient of Jillian's for about a year. I met her at her Playa location and when she stop doing her Tuesdays in Playa, I followed her to her location in Redondo Beach. I have seen 5 different acupuncturist and she by far is the best. She has help me with Skier's Thumb. My right thumb was deformed and barely able to move when I met her. The swelling was really bad in both of my hands. Now my thumb looks normal, the swelling in my hands is down drastically and the injured area no longer feels and looks hard and swollen. It does get swollen after about 5 days after treatment. But I am following her direction of heat therapy, physical therapy and taking care of my hands before the pain is unbearable. Which meant having more treatments at the beginning to control pain and swelling. To exercise my hands to keep the channels open and heal my Qi. Jillian use to tell me, "oh that's a good one." I knew that, but I had to ask her why she said it. She said that she could feel the energy leave my body right after she would put the needle in. Now being in my body I knew that the needle she put in did hurt, did release bad energy, but she is so In Tune with her patients she can feel the energy leaving the body.
