I really wanted to leave a good review because of how friendly most of the staff was. Unfortunately the glass work and logistics can be improved.. Pros: the aftermarket glass is from a respected and reputable brand. (FUYAO). Polyurethane used is Sika, also a respected and reputable brand. They didn't cut corners with poor quality parts or cheap consumables. Glass was laid flat and with no leaks. No damage to A-pillar inner trims, dashboard, or headliner. Staff is friendly and provided water on a hot day. The best price I was able to get in the area. Can be improved upon: Found wind noise post-repair when going above 40mph. I diagnosed the NVH and found loose cowl garnishes on both LH/RH side. They easily could have flown off on the highway. I provided the glass tech clips I had purchased prior to the service because I know they break when removing pieces. I was told the clips were not needed. (They kept my clips despite saying that they weren't needed). I showed up at 9:30a.m. and service was completed at 1:30p.m. Did not mind the wait but found out it was due to them not having my glass. I had called to make the appointment 7 days prior to ensure my glass would be in stock during day of service. When receiving my vehicle back, the hispanic glass tech advised me to call ahead of time so this type of stuff doesn't happen. Sir I did. Just admit you made a mistake. Mistakes happen. Its all good. Back in March, I went to get my front windshield replace as it had a huge crack and the service went very smoothly. My uncle recommended me this place and I messaged through Yelp and was quoted $400 for my car name, model, and year. I have a 2023 car so it was more expensive than an older car would be and I didn't mind. Also, the car dealership I go to tried to tell me that it would cost $4k and "there's no other option"....so fricken lame! $400 is the better option obv! I made my appointment and it only took roughly 2 hours. I communicate with Ryan and he told me the process and didn't miss anything out. It's been almost 4 months and everything still looks good! The only bad part is how to turn into the place. If there's a lot of cars there for service, you have to be extra careful turning. Luckily for me, I came at a time where the next cars weren't there yet and I had some room to u turn and park where I was guided to go. I took my Tesla here to get my windshield replaced. When it recently rained, there was water coming into my car. I wasn't sure what was going on so I took it to get serviced at the Tesla Service Center. I had to pay $481.25 diagnostic fee because it was an aftermarket windshield. The Tesla mechanics told me that AD Auto Glass had poor workmanship. They left the windshield unplugged and left the wires just hanging because they broke some of the clips. (Wires were damaged) I wanted a reimbursement for the diagnostic because if they had done their job properly I wouldn't had to have gotten the car serviced in the first place. I bring my car back to AD, they connected the wires back but still left them hanging. My car was still leaking but they said they couldn't find the leak. The owner kept insisting that the water was going into the filter. Water was still coming in because of the rain. I go to my other mechanic. He tells me that whoever did the windshield did a poor job because again, the wires are still hanging off and clips are broken. AD tells me to bring the car back for him to check out. This last Saturday I brought the car back. Before bringing it into the shop, I sprayed water on my windshield to make sure it was still leaking (It was). I bring my car in, he says he'll check it out and call me. This is where I made the mistake of leaving because he the calls me later on to tell me that there is no leak. (100% didn't want to reimburse me for his mistake) Very suspicious that my car is suddenly not leaking after he takes a look at it. He continues to tell me that it's the filter but if it was the filter my car would've been leaking from the rain and when I tested it with the hose today. My guess is that when I left, he fixed his mistake to get out of reimbursing me. I asked for a partial refund since I paid $911 for them to do quality work, yet things were left unplugged and broken. (This was all to save $90 of paying my deductible with Tesla.) Regret going here and would've rather paid the extra $90 to get a OEM windshield and to avoid this whole mess. 0/5 for me. Would NOT recommend coming here. read more
