Today we had a contractor try to fix faulty concrete around the pool and discovered that the electrical conduit for the pool cover was only 1 1/2 to 3 inches below the surface of the concrete. This is a major code violation!!! The code requires 18" below the surface. When we called Blue Mountain Pools to cover cost of repair to reroute the electrical conduit - they denied responsibility.

Well, Blue Mountain and Roy and Jim came through with flying colors and best accolades. They gave a great proposal for tearing out the unserviceable 'Frankenstein' double pump system and putting in a totally manageable single pump with variable speed drive and timer and new chlorinator and new single pump/filtration system. Our family is so incredibly happy that they fixed this messed up plumbing job in record time and only used the highest quality materials and equipment.

When I called Mike, the owner of the pool and spa medic...... he was so helpful. Based on what I told him, he gave me detailed instructions because my surge protector plug in......went dark . He told me to buy a new one at Home Depot, walks me through step by step how to install the new one, and he said if it didn't work, then he would come out. Mike said to me that if I can help you do it on your own and it's an easy fix..... you just saved money from me coming out . I couldn't believe it........ and the hot tub is working again just from a phone consult. I asked Mike if I could pay for his time , and he graciously said no. She never mentioned working for us before and I did not recognize her. I went outside after grabbing my dads cane for him, while he was going to go over things with her and she was gone. The attached photo is her message to my dad after yelling and abruptly leaving. From what I remember, from 5 years ago from one show, if it was her. She always had conflicts and issues, and just showed up the one time, kept flaking on us with a lot of excuses. This lady is just unprofessional. Who yells at someone about their pool being low (it was full to the point where it has always recommended to be), leaves with the gates open, says they'll be back the next day, and sends a message like this? And if the was the same pool person before that showed up once and came up with excuses to ever come back. Why even come back? You knew the house. Just cancel instead of yelling at a man with medical issues and immediately leaving.
