2.3!!! I know why....I have used them in the past and it took forever to get and appointment. Last month, I called the office, NO reply. I texted the office, NO reply and I sent and e-mail, NO reply. My wife contacted the office and left a voicemail complaining that NO one would return our calls, texts, or e-mails. Guess what....NO reply. We have found another company to work on our hot tub. It was easy to get an appointment and the tech solved the problem on the spot! What a difference a great company vs. a mediocre at best company makes... First off, this review is dated back to the happenings of sept 2021,  and we received multiple threats from the owners of this company should we decide to post this. But here we go: The hot tub was over a month late but this was no problem as I know covid has this effect on many materials and supplies right now. We had paid $3073 at the time of purchase (on April 5, 2021) and financing (the remaining $9219.75) was to be completed prior to delivery (August 30, 2021). I attempted multiple times for the two days prior to their delivery date to take care of this but no one ever answered the business phone. I left multiple voicemails and received only one phone call back from some guy named Scott. The hot tub was eventually delivered by Scott and 2 other guys. The delivery process was fine, the men were professional and pleasant. The paperwork they had me sign was supposed to be after the financing was completed. I was upfront with Scott about not having the financing set up, and he told me it would be fine and they would work it out today. While they were still here, I called Kim, the sales woman we ordered the hot tub through. She was short on the phone as she told me the steps I needed to complete for doing this over email. Minutes later, I began receiving personal texts from Kim placing blame on me for not having this completed. While the first text was rude, I informed her that I had been doing my part and did not redirect blame. The interaction left a lot to be desired given I had just purchased a $12,000 hot tub from them. It's not like I hadn't tried to do my part, they just never answered their phone during business hours. I have never had such a negative, unprofessional encounter with a business before. It was very personal, and I felt very awkward and uncomfortable. I will attach the texts below. After attacks from the business owner, I reached out to Scott and told him to turn around and come get their tub. Scott has since called and apologized for Kim's behavior, and is currently trying to make this right by allowing me to complete the purchase directly through him. While Scott initially came off as trying to resolve the issue, he did ask me to not write this review. Given that I regret this purchase and whole experience, I feel that this is a deserved and honest review of my experience and I would ask others to think twice before transacting with such a hostile and unprofessional business. While Kim was not like this in-person when we ordered this hot tub back in April, it is pretty clear that these texts and phone conversations are more representative of who she is as a person. Anyways, Scott asked us to sleep on our decision to return the hot tub and offered us a "deal" on chemicals if we did. He agreed that if we decided to return, we would get our deposit back in full. Ultimately, we decided to cancel the transaction with the thought process that if they are this hard to deal with when we are paying them, then we didn't want to experience what they were like if we needed them for further service. We also had had time to do some reading on their reviews and were less than impressed but not shocked as we saw a lot of familiar similarities. Scott remained pleasant, and agreed to pick up the tub within the next few days and drop the check. When the day came, Scott shook our hands, apologized, and gave us the check when he came out to pick up the hot tub. The next day, he called and told me he would be canceling the check due to a restocking fee and contract print. I reminded him of our agreement and the whole reason for canceling was the unprofessional behaviors we experienced during the transaction. I questioned his integrity which appeared to trigger his true self and he began yelling and cussing at me on the phone. He called me a "bitch" and told me that he was "a small business man and he will say and do whatever I need to, to get my money and property back." He then accused us of stealing since the tub was in our possession for several days? I responded that we would be taking him to court since this was so blatantly set up and in bad faith. We had more than enough documentation to see this through. Scott then reminded me that he knew where we lived, he is no stranger to going to court, and that he would be handling this "man to man" with my husband if I pushed this to court. Scott then hung up on me and immediately called my husband while he was at work. He left a voicemail with the same threat. I called the police and made a report of the matter. We ended up getting an attorney, Michelle Freed,  who happily took over the matter and got our money and attorney fees paid without having to go to court. I can't imagine how many people have been victimized by the Stogsdill's but they needed to be held accountable. We were in the market for a gently used hot tub. Scott was great in showing us the different options available and was very knowledgeable with tub treatment. We purchased a tub for him and it was delivered within a week, along with a starter kit. He has also been on hand in case we've had any questions. We're going on 3 months with the tub now and we love it, would highly recommend PHTS! read more

Listen to the reviews...while Scott is knowledgeable about the filter systems and buying a refurbished unit seems like a great way to get into a hot tub, it isn't worth the headache and business practices at this location. Kim is very challenging to communicate with and lacks customer service. Being the main person in charge of transactions makes the purchasing process leave a bad taste. The refurbished unit we purchased has been decent, but certainly has quirks and things that have needed to be replaced since purchase. Was not an enjoyable experience. read more

I'm really disappointed in the service of this company. They won't answer their phone....ever. Then all communication is over text, which I find to be incredibly unprofessional and frustrating. I had a move scheduled and then found out from my neighbor that they showed up and left within 10 minutes. No phone call or text from the company as to why they cancelled. I had to reach out to them to find out that the hot tub was "too old". Then, later the same week they show up and start servicing the hot tub. Again, no one will answer the phone and will instead respond to a text. I would sincerely look elsewhere and not even bother contacting these people. Signed up for premium monthly service and an initial flush and clean for our hot tub in October. First available time was late November. Pretty far out there but ok, let's get started. Rescheduled by them two days prior. Rescheduled again to a time we were out of town. Contacted them when we returned and now it's January. Don't bother. BUYER BEWARE--Questionable practices. Advertises on FaceBook used spas. We have seen two listed. When we reached out as we were interested, the advertised hot tub is gone, and they try to get you to come in to look at what they have there, which when I asked what was there, the person on the phone (who could have been an actor from Dazed and Confused) could not name one tub in stock. Two advertised tubs, when we called were supposedly sold, yet still for sale on FaceBook. Sounds like a Bait and Switch tactic. Horrible customer service. I have not had a good experience with Pacific Hot Tub Solutions. I purchased a new tub in May. Since filling it, there has been black debris accumulating in the tub, both on the seats, floor and visible behind the jets when they are removed. After a month of back and forth, Kim did try to correct the issue and replaced one of the two pumps, which I appreciated. Unfortunately the issue remains at three months out and it is not being addressed. I understand small businesses are doing their best to stay profitable right now but I spent a lot of money for a new hot tub and I don't think its unreasonable to expect it to be in new condition. We bought a used hot tub from a private sale. It had a leak 48 hours after install. The private seller came out and forced a can of solvent up the drain line. Ultimately clogging the line and constricting the flow throughout the jets. This guy obviously knew nothing of hot tub repair. Enter Pacific hot tub Solutions () just WOW. Terry arrived a month after calling to set the appt. Hot tub biz must be well....Hot. Anyway. I explain in detail all the mentioned above. He never acknowledged that. Simply replied; it needs a new motor. Okay! You're the guy. Let's make this happen. Another 45 days goes by before he shows back up to install said motor. It runs great. Only after he leaves the power starts tripping. Everytime. Have him come back out another month later. I had talked to Kim about the situation and she suggested it needed a new filter so, Terry brings new filter. Suddenly it works with no tripping of power. Awesome! We're getting somewhere. But still no flow. What's the deal Terry,I ask. Well...it needs new jets he says. There are no jets. I also ask what this valve here controls as it's cracked. Does this have anything to do with the flow? Yes it does. Okay let's get one of those too. Another (you guessed it) month goes by. He shows up with a used control valve. For which he charged a new one btw. The jets. Installed them. And surprisingly. The damn hot tub barely has any flow at all now. Ultimately, we learn this Company doesn't even handle flow lines in any hot tub. Ever. This was the most expensive waste of service in the history of how can we take John q customers money before they catch on! *RUN FROM THIS COMPANY* THEY SHOULD BE SUED. Deeply deeply disappointed in my experience with PHTS. I'll make this short. I bought a consigned Hot Springs hot tub from them in June 2023, initially I felt I was getting a solid deal and was excited about purchasing my first spa for my new home. I will say I read a number of negative reviews, mostly about very poor customer service, and now wish I had listened to my gut! 1. I was mislead about the year of the Hot Springs Jetsetter I purchased. The owner/seller, Kim, told me it was a 2021. I wish I had checked the serial #, it is actually from 2016. 2. When I filled for the first time, the spa did not fully work. I now have to spend roughly an extra $1000 to get the tub working properly. It has a faulty Watkins heater(tripped the breaker after heating 4-5 degree increments) and that heater after draining/refilling for the first time, has also started leaking after only 2 months. I've had to put in a service call with a different company other than PHTS to replace. 3, and the most important, the customer service is very very poor in my experience. I feel completely taken advantage of by people who are seemingly only motivated by making a profit when they sell used/consigned hot tubs. Once they drop it off, the feeling is they couldn't care less about any issues you have as they have washed there hands of you, pretty sad if you ask me. Buyer beware everyone, buyer beware. I purchased a reconditioned Clearwater tub from this outfit some 8 years ago & up until today probably would have given them a 5 star review. The tub has been great and only required an on-site service once. I also purchased some replacement parts from them on two separate occasions. Today I called about a replacement part that I've been unable to locate online after having had no luck getting Clearwater to answer my phone calls and emails. The woman who answered the phone was nothing but bad attitude to the max!!! She told me that they don't sell or order parts at all and told me if I had any problems with my hot tub, I could schedule a time for a service call. She didn't care that I had already removed a broken jet and that it would be much easier for me to bring it in to the store to see if they could get a new unit for me. Lots of petty reviews, some customer service lessons. *my experience is a bunch of nice old metal heads, of which I like. Nonetheless; since they're the only place that repairs, fixes, and resells used tubs, I'm glad to say I just had them install another tub at our new home. We bought a 32k tub for 20k, the last normal sized tub was 5k for a 10k tub.. So, if you want a deal, and someone who can actually work on your tub when need be, these are good folks for you. read more

BUYER BEWARE! I just purchased a home where the previous owner had paid for12 months of service for their spa for a total of 1,400. The year of services begain in March, 2022. I contacted the company to let them know that I am the new owner and would like them to continue the services until the contract expires in March and I received the following response from the owner Kim. "I'm sorry services are non-transferable. -- Kim Stogsdill Pacific Hot Tub Solutions" The services are paid for and the owner Kim refuses to fullfill the remaining services. The lack of professionalism, response time and follow through is the worst I've seen from a company. We bought a "new" hot tub from the showroom, was told it would be discounted $3000 if we paid cash. The co-owner stated "the manufacturer is needing us to move it off the floor for new inventory". As it turns out, the hot tub was 4 years old, used and refurbished! The lies didn't stop there. When the electrical component malfunctioned, the other co-owner said "the is a known faulty part of that manufacturer", I had to pay to get it repaired after owning the hot tub for only a few months. 7/16/2021 Made repair apt for 7/22/2021 between 12 and 4PM. I verbally confirmed when she said "afternoon" she meant I needed to be home after 12. Provided required credit card info. 7/22/2021 Received two calls from notifying me tech was arrived. I told him he wasn't supposed to come until after 12PM and he said he got done early. I ran home to meet him. First he told me I had a bad plug. I told him I had replaced it just days prior. Then he told me I had a bad GFCI outlet. I told him it was not bad, it had the same behavior no matter what plug we used. He tested in a different GFCI plug and told me that one was bad also. I insisted this was not the problem. Next he told me you can't use a GFCI plug with a GFCI outlet. I told him that was not correct but he insisted so I plugged into a non-GFCI outlet in the house using an extension cord. Finally he told me we got a bad GFCI plug and that happens all of the time when you order them off of the internet. This is the exact same plug sold at Home Depot but I could see we weren't going to get anywhere so I gave in. He wrote up a diagnostic invoice for a "Bad GFCI" for 149. 7/27/2021 Purchased and replaced GFCI with non GFCI plug per techs recommendation. Still does not work. 7/28/2021 2:36 Left VM 7/28/2021 4:58 Spoke with man and explained the tub was not repaired. We took the steps the tech suggested and it did not fix the tub. Asked what the next steps were and he offered to send tech out at no additional cost and that he would call back later that day or the next to schedule the apt. 7/30/2021 1:22 Left VM 7/31/2021 5:25 Left VM 8/1/2021 12:44 Explained the situation, and that no one returned my call. I was told "my tech said you installed the plug wrong. If he comes out there again and it's installed wrong again we are going to charge you again." Obviously if that had actually been the problem, when he corrected the wiring it should have worked. Oddly, he restored the wiring to the way we had it originally and per the instructions in the plug diagram. Gave me an apt for "Tuesday between 9 and 12." 8/3/2021 No show. Stopped by PHTS and was aggressively barked at by dog. Kim checked the computer and said my apt was for the 10th. I told her I was not given a date when I made the apt and asked her to cancel the apt. read more

My wife and I finally decided to take the plunge (pardon the pun) and purchase a hot tub. We went to several different hot tub stores, and looked at many a different hot tub. We selected Pacific Hot Tub Solutions, and we couldn't possibly be happier. First, the hot tub: We chose the Vita Spa Cabaret. It has an elegant design, has 6 independent seats each with a different jet massage experience. While many spas fit this bill, the construction of the Vita Spa brand was what really sold us - all steel frame, completely enclosed housing with a shell under the tub, and NO SPRAY FOAM insulation. Everything can be easily accessed for maintenance and/or repair. This hot tub is designed to last a lifetime. Nice touches were the LED illuminated cup holders, and the "Bellagio Fountain" effects. They create a fantastic atmosphere for both entertaining and private hot tubbing. We also opted for the ThomsonTec Copper-Silver Ionization setup. Is it an upsell? Sure, it is. But it is WELL worth it. We only need to add chlorine very sparingly, enough to keep the contaminants oxidizing, but the ThomsonTec ensures there can be no living bacteria or viruses in the water at all times. It works spectacularly to keep the water sparkling clean! We recommend this to anyone looking for a hot tub. The sales process: Scott really knows his stuff. We went in to several (as in a LOT) of other hot tub stores, and not one of them wanted to talk about the construction of the hot tub, management of water quality, or massage capabilities. Most were trying to sell us Bluetooth speaker systems (we didn't want that - we have an outdoor wired sound system from our home). He took the time to explain to us all of the features of the tub, and why it stood apart from other models we had seen. He pretty much casually mentioned the ThomsonTec stuff, and gave us links to what it does and how it works, and let us make our own decision. We are very glad we did! I'm VERY happy with the experience all the way around. Once we had made our decision, Kim was extremely helpful with the purchase process, and made closing the deal on our new spa a breeze. read more

We purchased our hot tub from PHTS about 5 years ago and have been very satisfied with it. We try to be loyal to small businesses, so we tried to get our chemicals from them and when it was time for a new cover and a refresh on our tub, we called them. The service was fine, somewhat more expensive than quoted, but fine. The hot tub 'died' a week or so later, and our calls to Kim were met with defensiveness and deflection, even though we were simply asking to talk to a tech about the issue, and pointed out that we thought the filters hadn't been changed and wondered if that contributed to the issue. Kim argued with us, basically called us liars, and told us she was cancelling us as a client, and to not call back again. They still owe us a thermal blanket promised as part of the over $1k service job. Only reason it's not 1 star is that other than Kim, they WERE pretty decent to work with. Now that we're blacklisted, we'll be taking our business elsewhere !! read more

Simple.... Bought a hot tub a couple months ago and scheduled a delivery for a couple weeks out. The day of the delivery they cancelled and said they would call me back to reschedule. I was patient and waited a week + for their call. Nothing. I finally had to call/text back myself. I was told the extra delay was because there was some part that wasn't working quite right. My bullshit detector went off but I cooled my jets (see what I did there) and waited another two weeks before calling them again. Kim said she was on it and she would check first thing Monday and contact me. That was last Friday. It's Tuesday evening....crickets. It is sad. My wife and I own a small business and we would NEVER treat our customers like this. So... $7000 lighter and no hot tub. There is no way I want this company to be the one to have to honor our warranty either. I will be asking for a full refund.... I'll keep you posted. read more

This review is WAY overdue, as I purchased my refurbished hot tub from these folks all the way back in May... That said, I'm so glad we went with this company! We got a nice deal on a refurbished Clearwater Orlando model (109 jets! so many jets!!), and the technician doing the refurbish was actually the person who sold me in the tub. Then the installation and delivery crew managed to place this GIGANTIC tub in the most awkward spot on my steeply sloped property, and they were total champs about it. I had a technical issue come up a couple of months ago with the tub (a busted heating element), and Kim (the owner) sent a repair tech out right away, and it was fixed under warranty in no time. Just a kind, authentic group of people to work with, PLUS have this absolutely insane top-of-the-line mega party tub (with a waterfall and LED lights!) for a fraction of what is would have cost new. Awful customer service once you own a hot tub. Have been waiting since May for our jets to be fixed. Someone "came out" to fix but no card left, jets not fixed, no call stating the jets needed to be ordered. I have attempted to get an explanation on where my new jets are...nothing. My first two calls, I was told dates when I would expect my jets to be fixed...nothing happened and no one showed up. Now I've called twice and told they would check then call me back...still waiting on a call back. I recommended them initially and now have told my friends to go elsewhere, which is a bummer for them since I have numerous friends interested in purchasing a hot tub. My next call is to CalSpa. We bought a used hot tub on craigslist a few years ago. We used it all the time. One day I went out and noticed there was a slow leak. I called this place and they said they would send somebody out in a few weeks was the soonest they had. OK, I'll wait. They came out on time. But, rather than say anything about where the leak was. They just said we needed a new heater. I said OK. Find me a heater and fix it. A couple weeks later I get a message from them saying that The heater for that is no longer available. If we wanted to apply the $147 service fee to a tub of theirs, they would apply it. So, hubby goes out and investigates the heater that is in there that needs replaced. He goes online and finds it right away through a website for around 300 bucks. I texted them back and said what's the deal? We found one online and you said it doesn't exist. Nobody got back with me with an answer on that though. I don't trust them and I will not do business with them any longer. I hate being lied to. read more

Horrible service. I purchased a brand new hot tub with a 3 year warranty 6 months ago. I had the control valve to the water fountain leaking water from the top. Kim told me to take the top off and tighten it myself because they don't warranty leaking fittings unless the fitting is Broken. ?. I tried and was not not able to fix the leak so I asked them to preform a warranty service. The guy was they for 5 Minutes to tighten the valve and they charged my credit card $169 without my permission, signature or any invoice for the changes . My house is 7 minutes from their store. I realize it was an easy fix but I didn't know how to fix it. I don't think a brand new tub under warranty from the manufacturer should require the owner to fix leaking fittings.They are trying to make money on warranty service. Im in touch with the spa manufacturer now directly and am hoping they can find some resolve. read more

Saying this......I just realized you said you were coming from Pendleton. We don't deliver or warranty that far and unless you plan to pick it up there is really no point in coming in. They sold me a hot tub, which was nice, but the cover they brought (I didn't get a chance to see when I purchased the tub tore in half within a couple months of purchase. I called, they said they'd make it right, and then I never heard back. I left several messages, but no reply. I finally asked a friend to call from another number. They said they'd lost the paper work. I emailed it immediately. Once again, no response. When they removed a spa I had sold they damaged a sprinkler head and did not cop to it at the time. I noticed it was leaning to the side but the guy said it is OK, that it is flexible and can shift in the ground. I know nothing about sprinklers so I took his word for it. I just found out it was damaged when I started using it again during the hot weather. When they have you sign the waiver that states they did no damage to your property, please look closely at where they traveled in your yard or near your house. Since their services are not inexpensive, to have to repair damage they've done on top of their fees is kind of ridiculous. read more
