I'm confident in saying that Six One Six is by far, one of the best vision care facilities I have ever been to. I came here because they were one of the few places that took my horrible vision insurance from a previous job I had. I finally moved companies and now have exceptional coverage, yet found no reason to switch providers, regardless of the abundance of in-network and closer vision options to me. I have never experienced any issues regarding care, appointments, communication or billing in the 4 years I've been a customer. In fact, I've experienced exceptionally personalized, professional and authentic care from day one. I've had the absolute pleasure of being Dr Shelby Strick's patient from the get-go and am consistently comforted by her attention to detail, assurance and easy-to-understand explanation on everything I'm experiencing. Allie is usually the one that takes care of me with picking out eyewear, fittings and reviewing my bill. She is truly exceptional...with her patience, support to ensure you're getting what you need within budget (but still looking hot in your specs) and most of all, how approachable and friendly she is. We had already been to two other places in town to purchase eye glasses from and walked out. Maybe it's because of our age, we just expect better customer service and as we've experienced lately, it's just not there anymore. The front desk greeting was fair to Midland. It felt like they were bothered that we showed up. We were told to look around at all of the frames and someone would be with us shortly. As we perused the displays, they really don't list the prices on their frames, just code numbers. We finally found a couple of frames and then we were greeted by their sales representative. Then here comes the craziness. To get all of the additional options for your eyeglasses, my cost was $990 for one single pair of glasses. Insurance did its job in getting me these glasses for free, but seriously folks, $990 for glasses? I bought a no nonsense pair of frames. They weren't even a famous brand name I recognized and they were $320. That just crazy, it's just plastic. Well, we were finally done. Now the bad news. It's going to take them 3 weeks to get my glasses made and sent to the store. That's way too long. Everywhere I've ever shopped in the past for eyewear has only taken them about 1 week to turnaround and get them back to me. 3 weeks is way too long to wait for eye glasses in my humble opinion. I'm on the fence here. This was our third stop for eye glasses. We almost walked here too, but we caved in and just wanted the madness to stop. We just wanted eyeglasses, nothing more, nothing less. I really can't recommend this facility. I wasn't really impressed at all with their service team or their selection of eyewear. They only seemed to carry overpriced name brand frames. And don't think you are going to find something really splashy or something trendy with a lot of color here. This was all middle of the road boring frames. Just because we get older doesn't mean we don't appreciate style and color. Parking was easy, this shop is in a medical building on the first floor. Get your wallet out, this place is very expensive if you don't have great insurance coverage!

Dr. Jensen Mrs Is uncompassionate, and intolerant towards elderly patients​. He left the room, went and checked with his staff who apparently told him that they had told me to come in and they would figure out what type of visit it would be when I got there. My review was based on the fact that I had specifically informed the providers that I did not believe the treatment was working and that I did not wish to proceed after all pre-paid treatments were complete. Thereafter, Artisan ran additional tests without advising that they were not included in the pre-paid services and billed my insurance company. After partial coverage by the insurance company, I was billed the balance. The bottom line is that the tests should not have been run without explaining to me that there may be additional costs to my insurance company and/or me. I will never return.
