We ordered starters of the pretzel and chips & dip. Unfortunately the chips were not house made. The pretzel was pretty good. For dinner, my wife and mom had light appetites order a French onion soup and a side salad while I ordered the pulled pork sundae. I enjoyed another of the bartender's delicious Manhattans while waiting on our meal. Our dishes were delicious and well presented. We even walked out with an extra bottle of wine to go! I decided to check out the bar/lounge at the nearby Sheraton and have to say, no wonder Marriott decided to buy these guys! They have great beers on tap and great food. I had the sliders and the Santorini salad, which has fried artichokes on it. The sliders were great. Straight up beef patties on a brioche-like bun. No filler, slightly thin, but still tastes great and beefy. Just what I wanted. The Santorini salad is about twice as big as I thought it would be for $9. I really liked the greens which included butter, red, iceberg and romaine lettuces. It also had goat cheese, olives and fried artichoke hearts. Yum, but I couldn't finish it. Since I'm at the Res Inn I just took the rest with me. I also had the Blond ales on tap. Their big deal is supposed to be the wine selection, but the beer selection is very good. They stated they had air conditioning upon reserving the room, they may have one mini split hanging on the wall but it makes 0 difference in the summer. I, 7 months pregnant was beyond uncomfortable and my guests were also very uncomfortable. We had to bring our own fans to the event to get some relief. Another thing, when we were setting up we asked to fill up our water pitcher and the staff working told us no, we couldn't use their tap water.. so someone had to go panic buy jugs of water at the store right before the party started. Would NOT recommending renting this room in the summer time unless you want to have an event in a room that feels like a sauna.
