Great place to watch a game and have some good appetizers! I LOVE their wings with the house sauce. The wings are breaded and decent size, they are not the little type of naked wings. The cheese fries are really good and they make a decent burger. I have also had their half chicken which has a vinegar based bbq sauce which I love! You can add more since their bbq sauce is in a bottle at the tables. The crab dip is good and their wraps are really good as well. Only complaint I would have is price. Baked beans were a blend of kidney, pintos, garbanzos, limas and maybe more, the sauce was smoky and delicious. I was so pleasantly surprised! They seemed to be homemade and were amazing. Great food, good service, friendly staff. It was a little loud in the dining room because there was a ball game on in the bar but it was manageable. My wife and I both had the Cuban sandwich. My wife had coleslaw as her side and I had sweet potato fries (a huge pile of fries!) and we took slices of peanut butter pie and lemon cake home with us for later. Prices were very reasonable considering the food and portion sizes. We were there to celebrate my Ironman MD finish and World Championship entry slot for Nice, France next year. read more

We've been going to Adam's since moving here 6 yrs ago and our last few visits the food has not been good. Besides the quality of the food, the service has also gone down hill. I loved going on Tues for the double pounder, but this time my wings were undercooked and my shrimp was overcooked. The waiter, although friendly, was very scarce and didn't come back to check on us and my husband was missing part of his order (rec'd after was finished). Then we finally went to the front desk to pay the bill because he never came back, she made us wait there for him, he took the bill and came back without the credit card which we didn't realize until half way home (smh). For starters, I did really enjoy my time here but I have three main "icks" about this place. Number one had to be the GROSS bathroom situation it might have been an unlucky experience, but it was musty in that joint. Number two was the surrounding area/location. This one is picky but after a nice dinner im tryna live it up and have a good time but the town lacked a hyped spirit. A local bar with actual chefs and a large menu with BBQ ribs our favorite, always done just right and full racks are enormous. Included are two smallish sides which are overpowered by the magnificent ribs. Great beer selection to match and always some sort of activity going on, trivia, singers, games, etc. read more

This restaurant has been in my area for years. It used to be the local watering whole for happy hour but was changed by the current owner to family dining. The food here is good. The menu is typical pub food. Everything I have eaten there has been good. I host small meetings (15-20) in a room at this place and they have always been able to handle the group. If you are looking for a good place to have lunch in the area this a good place This restaurant is also a caterer and has a building adjacent to it where you can host a meeting or event. As far as I know there is only one large room but it is very nice. I have used the room several times for events. The room has a lot of capacity. I have only used it for crowds of 30-40 but it could easily hold much more. I have only used this room as a buffet style dining experience so I can't speak to table serving. The food we select for the buffet is always of good quality. I will continue to use them for my events. read more

I realized I never made a review for Adam's and I need to. Adams is my favorite local spot. They understand how to make their customers happy, the food is fantastic, the drinks are flowing, and any normal person would love this place. My favorite menu item (personally) is the fish tacos. Best I've ever had anywhere. This is my go to place and the owner, Pete, is a treasure. You will never find a restaurant owner more concerned about finding ways to make his patrons happy. Adam's Taphouse and Grill was a great find on a Sunday night in the spring. Nothing but pizza was available in Princess Ann. When we stepped out of the car I could smell the smoke of a BBQ pit. The menu didn't disappoint. I wasn't really hungry but had to try something smoked. I chose the BBQ chicken with the sauce on the side. The serving was a moist hot half chicken. The sauce was a rich tomato based with a good vinegar kick and not too sweet. The chicken came with two sides I chose slaw and baked beans. The beans were an assortment of types of beans cooked until tender in a subtle sauce. The slaw was mayonnaise based and not too sweet. My husband had the special, crab bisque, there was plenty of crab in a creamy soup base seasoned with old bay. He also ordered the spinach salad with bacon dressing. The salad was loaded with crumbled bacon, mushrooms, feta cheese, tomatoes and red onions. The hot dressing was served on the side. It was a little thick could have used some more vinegar. There is bar and dinning room seating. We had a booth in the bar. The list of draft beers is limited. There are also wines by the glass two different size pours. Dessert sounded great but we had no room. This business has been in operation for 32 years. read more

I have taken my time to write this out because I can anticipate the 'incoming' I will receive. I write concerning my experience picking up a take-out order at Adam's Taphouse Grille, Fruitland on Friday August 14. 'Adam's Ribs' as my family and I refer to it has lost my business. At least on that night, people picking up take-out were directed to the bar. Now, when I pulled arrived, I did notice the parking lot was packed with cars. I entered, wearing a mask. The hostess, wearing a mask, directed me to the bar. I entered and I was surprised at what I saw: the place was nearly shoulder to shoulder, with the majority, if not all, patrons not wearing a mask. Most if not all employees were masked. I want to emphasize it was nearly shoulder to shoulder. I noticed a reference off to the side of 'we'll miss you Ryan' or something like that. I was able to slink my way over to the side of what I'll term the main bar, and eventually I stood in the area where employees enter and exit the bar area, in an attempt to distance myself from people (the top was in the up position). It took some time to get noticed and I paid (with my credit card). I usually tip in the 20% range but even with my disgust at what was happening, I tipped above 20% because I know it's been difficult for the restaurant business and particularly the employees. Plus, in our experience of going to Adam's Ribs, we have been quite pleased with the staff. In fact, prior to the pandemic, 'Z' was our favorite waiter (such a nice young man!). I prefer to support local businesses, even when I know that perhaps the public positions of the business differ from mine. I do that because of a variety of reasons. For one, at some point we as a society have to learn to live with each other, notwithstanding differing opinions. But what happened Friday evening is unacceptable to me, in light of the risks the pandemic poses. If you choose to operate in that way, that's on you. But provide an area where folks can enter and pick up food, safely, and away from a congested gathering. And here's a garden variety food critique: our containers holding the fries were only half full. The containers were like what you get at a fair, or at boardwalk fries. For the price, that's ridiculous. I'll close by saying the state's option to report and denounce in the dark is just as problematic as what I experienced Friday evening. So that's why I post this publicly. read more

The crab cakes could have had more lump crab but they were tasty. Everyone in our party was happy with the portions and their choice of entree. Okay, so I went all the way in Salisbury, MD and looking for a place to dine. I found this side of the road spot called Adam's as I had a taste for ribs. The place has plenty of parking and it's really hard to choose where to park when there are only maybe 5 cars in the lot and about 50 spaces, lol! If you're paying with cash but don't have any on you, GREAT NEWS, They have an ATM!! Bad news is that it's always empty so get cash before you go there, otherwise they do accept credit and debit cards. I had the bufallo wing appetizer and let me tell you... there isn't a great deal to making bufallo wings but... everyone can't do it. Fortunately for Adam's, they did a pretty adequate job. I had a half rack of ribs and got full... they were some pretty big baby-backs. I had a combo platter which was a half rack of the babys and a sirloin steak. I like my steak as well as possible without burning it and few places are able to accomplish this but Adams was and it was tender and juicy... Just great. The downside to our experience at Adam's was probably the drinks. I think the only thing worse than not enough alcohol in a drink is WAY TOO much. Overall, this was pretty decent place with pretty good food. I visit Salisbury a couple times a year, so I wouldn't have problem eating there again... minus the alcohol. read more

I visited on Thursday. The service was just awful, the older woman, I think her name was Margot, came to apologize for me sitting there for over twenty minutes without being greeted by a server. It seemed ridiculous to me as the restaurant did not seem nearly busy enough for their to be such a waiting period for service, I mean at the least they could've greeted me and stated they were a bit busy. There should be no reason a host is apologizing for a servers actions, at that point they should've sent over a manager. The lack of professionalism almost sent me on my way but I continued to stay and eat off of a family friend's recommendation. And then waited an additional twenty minutes simply just for the course of crab dip I ordered to come out with molded bread. I have to agree with another reviewer to avoid the pulled pork sandwich as it was indeed way too vinegary. Crab cakes are pretty good. Overall, good food at good prices. Service has been consistently good. Can be loud -- especially when you're seated in the bar area. Noisy bar atmosphere (there was a game on when I was there for lunch). The food looked really good on my plate except for the old garnish (why put garnish if it looks bad I say!). They served a very generous portion of pulled pork that looked fresh...too bad that they doused it in very acidic vineger (supposed to be NC style). The vineger sauce left my mouth raw and tasted like plain white vinegar...Yuck! I've had plenty of NC style and this simply was not at all up to par! Oh well! I was too tired to complain so I ate some of it and the portion of standard slaw that was good and fries (they have malt vinegar which was nice)...I really was disappointed with the overly vinegarness of my sandwich.
