I devoured my chopped beef baked potato before I got a chance to take a picture but it was delicious. I can't call the Peach Whiskey BBQ and Pineapple BBQ sauces the stars of the show as that would be unfair to the flavorful meat but they are game changers! If they sell them by the bottle, I'd definitely encourage people to buy them. My life forever been changed! The fried rib tips were totally one of the best things I've eaten in a very long time. They smoke the rib tips before frying them so you get the smokiness along with with the goodness of something being deep fried that created a taste bud party. I actually got half and half friend and smoke and you can't go wrong with either but why choose when you can have both. The smoked greens were so delicious I couldn't stop eating them. I found this place while visiting the Grub Park. There was a lady handing out samples of their homemade sausage, which instantly reeled me in. The sausage was amazing. I ended up ordering the brisket & ribs with potato salad and spicy dirty rice. My husband ordered the sausage and brisket with the same sides. Their homemade barbecue sauce is so good. They had a couple of different flavors but I opted for the original. I deducted one star from what would have been a 5 star review because of the potato salad (I didn't like it) and they were a little stingy with the ribs. Overall their meat is really good. This is such a great place, I always recommend and go often. The customer service is elite! Everyone is kind and smiling and makes you feel like you're at a family gathering and you just getting your plate to go sit down and talk ( also side note there is a daiquiri place in the shopping strip so for me it was perfect to sit eat and sip) ok not to THE FOOD! Ah THE FOOD it is outstanding and bursting with flavor! The fried okra is so yummy I could eat it like popcorn!! The fried ribs!! Man! When I tell you it's the bomb! It's THE BOMB! It's so tender and full of flavor. And the best well my personal all time fav is that BIG SEXY lol the name makes me giggle but i tell you what, that thang is SEXY in look and TASTE! It's huge and you get a taste of all the meats I usually double up on my favs the brisket and ribs ( but the sausage and chicken is so yummy too). Honestly you can share it or have it for at least 3 meals but only if you help yourself and not keep eating on it. So I'm very new to this area. When I walked up to the food truck I felt more than welcome. If I didn't know any better I would've thought I was at a family function. Been to many BBQ places that talk about being the best. If you want some DELICIOUS FOOD with AMAZING customer service it's here. Prices aren't to bad, the good portions are going to have you eating for a few days. They have many different BBQ options. Easy way to get directions is to message them on Facebook, as I'm posting this they aren't on Google maps. I got the big sexy(upgraded potato) along with baked beans, and fried okra for under 30 bucks I'm not disappointed at all. If I could give 0 stars I would... I work from home and eat out almost daily for lunch or dinner for "normalcy." Today I decided to take the drive from Pearland to what I thought was my "reliable" barbecue spot - Add to Taste Barbecue. We'll let me just say that ride was certainly my last to them!! I placed my call in order via phone and my 19 yo paid when we go there. We sat in the car for a while and I decided to go see what was taking do long as I had to get back home to work. As I approached the guys who were at the table inquiring about my order, I get a woman (who I think is the owner as I have seen her a few times before) go into straight fight mode with me. Customer service was on "0" today. She was explaining to me about how they had other orders and I as a customer really had no tolerance for excuses coming from someone with a horrible attitude. I would certainly be more understanding if she would have said, "sorry for your wait time" or something to that effect but she was angry and argumentative and told me I was a "nasty person!" Ma'am really?? I spoke to another person that I recognized there and she got all angry about that! She asked me if I wanted my money back and even after that I said "no, I want you to apologize for the wait as any regular business person would." The guy working the counter was then taking the food to my car and she told him to bring it back and issued me a refund (apparently she didn't want my little $55.20). Well that was fine with me. She asks for the receipt and I oblige. She goes on to say my initial charge didn't go through...well ma'am I have a receipt with a confirmation on it so therefore I need a refund receipt. It was too much drama over something so little!!! I even told her she lost a good customer and she gave the whatever shrug. Apparently it's all good to buy from them but don't ask questions if things are functioning right. I'm disappointed because I actually wrote a good review about them before. I am one of the owners. We are new to Yelp. We have been doing the food truck business for 2 years but we try to do it correctly. We have been fortunate to be very successful. God has blessed us to find a location where we have found a lot of customers. As our mission statement says, we cook everything slow and low. We take our time a chop and slice everything to order. That's what makes our food different. We also own a pharmacy, being a business owner is nothing new to us. We pride ourselves on customer service. We don't mind bad reviews, if we really get one we try to find the problem and fix it. But when a bad review has no warrant, we have to address it. The young lady with the review about bad customer service is just not true. She did not say how she acted very disrespectful from the start. We had about 15 people in front of her when she called in her order, she also wanted it a special way, I told her 25 minutes and she was on the way. She called back in 15 min adding to her order. If any know anything about being in the food industry, you can't rush orders or you will do them incorrectly. Well after adding to her order, of course the wait time increased, we were very busy. This young lady did not even wait her additional time before driving up. She was in a rush, working from home and was upset that it was not ready. She jumped out the car upset when we told her it was not ready . We said give us 10 min to complete your add on order. Five minutes later she jumped out of the car, cursing and performing, saying and I quote: "do you have to barbecue the barbecue". Trying to be sarcastic!! But yes, if you want barbecue, you have to barbecue it. She was only upset when we got to the point of just giving her the money back. Because of her attitude, we decided not to give her the food for free either. It was not our fault but we were going to give her the food to let her go. Once we gave her the refund, her attitude was still bad. She said that's what you are supposed to do when you **** up. We don't use that language to our customers so we don't expect that back. Long story short, she was mad she had to wait for an additional order, she had been there before, with no problems, gave us a great review before and loved the food and customer service. But, that day she was in a rush and obviously in a horrible mood and one thing lead to another. We always hate to loose customers. But when reading some reviews, not just this one, please be careful because you might not get the real story. Our reviews on Facebook, Instagram and others have been great. Never have complaints about customer service. Because that's what we do!! Sorry for the long post. But you must come try us out for yourself. read more
