Many members of the community have raved about Addeo's and today I am happy to announce that I am joining that club! From the start they offer warm service. The bread service is great. Soft bread, quality olive oil, cheese and pepper flakes. Yesterday made my ordering easy, as it was a Lenten Friday for me! The place has nice finishing and seems very clean. It basically runs as two restaurants, a pizzeria in the front and a sit-down service in the back with an ala cart menu with daily specials. The hot antipasto was excellent and meatless. The clams were just okay for me. They weren't the best but also acceptable for the abundance of options on the platter. Everything else on the platter was great. All the salads seemed thoughtfully crafted and great sounding. We opted for the pizzeria salad and added a piece of salmon. We ordered the salmon medium rare and it was perfection. I am eager to return and order the lunch specials to try more. Service was attentive and efficient. I recommend and I will be back to explore the menu even further!

Addeo's grandma pie stuffed with black gaeta olives did; so good ; takes the Sicilian pizza to the next level !!!

If you like olive bread you're definitely going to love Addeo's grandma pizza stuffed with kalamata olives. This pie takes Sicilian pizza to a whole new level ; fresh mozzarella, plum tomatoes fresh basil and literally stuffed with soft tangy kalamata olives . What an explosion of flavor! Not cheap at forty dollars but you have to try this at least once and decide for yourself. 5 stars !!!

I may not be Italian, but if you were born in The Bronx OR grew up in The Bronx 30-40 years ago, you damn well HAVE to know your pizza and where to go for that mom-&-pop, old-school slice. And no, just because you moved here in the last 5-10 years does not make you a full-fledge Bronxite either! This is straight up pizza: nothing fancy like those charred, crust spots- this is more of a golden touch. And when it's all done, your slice is propped on a paper plate and you call it a day. My initial plan was to meet my friend at our favorite Cafe in Castle Hill- but since they close Mondays, we decided on a different plan altogether and come here since I was off for Juneteenth. The day was glorious to begin with and decided on outside seating. The large planters+plants on designated areas worked fine to create a division from the sidewalk eating area to the main restaurant. The brick wall(?) facade(?) extend from entrance to the back and branded with a large picture frame on one side. Pizza counter and ovens, are on the opposite side. My friend went for some heft and decided on a Sicilian and regular slice. I, had the Grandma Slice with super delicate strips of basil and a regular slice as well. The dough in their regular slice is neither thick nor thin. Let's just say it's a regular slice with an almost-perfect 1/2" thickness. I took my slice plain- but if I wanted to pile like veggie toppings, I know I'd be in good hands because the pizza base here is solid and not flimsy. But the cheese you ask? Good amount of cheese that didn't weigh down your slice as you folded it. Crust? Maybe it was lil too crisp- but that sucker was good anyway. We both washed our slices and squares with bottle tea and a San Pellegrino Aranciata. And prices were good on top of that. This almighty pizza joint/restaurant has more than pizza: there are sandwiches and the main Italian meal staples. The folks here were pleasant and accommodating. This was a tasty slice fix! If pizza is the thing you truly knead right now, check out this excellent spot.

I can't say enough great things about Addeo's. We have tried almost every dish and their delicious pizza. My favors their chicken panini and their chicken with vodka sauce. They are always so kind and helpful. I'm so happy we have a reliable pizza place with delicious food.

When we were on Yonkers, we often went to Addeo's in Riverdale for their grandpa pies. Now that we're back in the northeast Bronx, hubby found Addeo's in the Bx and we've ordered from them a few times. The pizza is better IMO. We had a couple of issues with the Riverdale loc but they always made up for it. We haven't had any problems with this location and the staff is also very accommodating, as with its sister loc. We ordered through Grubhub for pick-up. Our Little really wanted a pepperoni pizza and I wanted thin crust, so we got the grandpa pie. They don't have a pepperoni addition on the app so we asked them in the comments section to please add the pepperoni and we'll pay when we pick up. Shortly afterwards, we received an update and they auto charged for the additional topping. It was only $4 extra. We arrived within 15 minutes and our order was all set and ready to go. They have ample seating in front of house as well as up the steps in the rear but tonight they had an event going on. They have a great space so I could definitely see us coming here to dine in. They're less than 15 minutes from us which is convenient. The grandpa pie was great. They have the fancy pepperoni which I love! We also ordered some calimari and I love that they serve with both marinara and a spicy roasted pepper aioli. This is our goto for za for sure.

I try to give them a chance, but I am done! We ordered baked clams. They were just ok. Needed to be browned. The eggplant parm, was terrible. Dry, dry and dry. Bitter too. Terrible. Should have taken a picture. SMH

The GOAT of Bronx Pizza. Period…read more If you want to know what real New York City pizza is supposed to taste like, stop looking and get to Louie & Ernie's on Crosby Ave. This isn't just a meal; it's a Bronx institution. The Vibe: Old School & Authentic This place is as "old school" as it gets. It's located in the basement of a house, and walking in feels like stepping back into 1959. There are no fancy decorations or "artisanal" gimmicks--just the smell of fresh dough and a gas oven that's probably seen more history than most museums. * Pro Tip: It is CASH ONLY. Don't be that person who gets to the counter with a card; come prepared. The Pizza: The Best in the Bronx I've had a lot of pizza, but this is easily the best in the borough. * The Crust: Paper-thin, perfectly salty, and has that signature "Bronx fold" with just the right amount of char on the bottom. * The Sausage: This is their claim to fame. They use huge, fresh chunks of sausage that are packed with flavor. It's heavy, it's greasy in the best way possible, and it's legendary. * The Sauce/Cheese: The ratio is perfection. The sauce is tangy and bright, and the mozzarella is creamy and never "rubbery." The Service The staff here are exactly what you want in a legendary neighborhood spot--friendly, fast, and no-nonsense. They keep the line moving, but they treat you like a regular even if it's your first time. Verdict: 10/10. It's simple, it's classic, and it's the king of the Bronx. If you haven't been, you're doing NYC wrong.

I enjoy the Chicken Parm, Meatballs, Pizza, Mozzarella Sticks & deserts! I definitely have a thing for their Vodka sauce too How's the food? The meatballs are so good.. Tender.. They fall apart which I like. Not big on huge, dense meatballs anyway.. These things taste amazing! You gotta try them.. The Chicken Parm with spaghetti in Vodka Sauce is one of my favorites dishes The chicken is nice and tender, sauce has a great flavor, cheese is nice and melted, pasta perfectly cooked and it's a pretty big portion! The Mozzarella Sticks are like no other! I'm telling you! They make them fresh on-site.. Not store bought frozen sticks where the cheese pops out the casing.. These things are the real deal.. The cheese is stringy, well melted.. And they're pretty big.. They don't skimp.. Good for like 2-3 people.. I can only eat one myself.. The Pizzas are pretty good too! I really enjoy the entry dishes but if I'm with a group, I'll get a pizza to share. They're pretty small anyway. My favorite dessert is the Conollis! They have a nice airy, light casing.. The ricotta filling is so flavorful and fluffy.. So on point The service staff is always welcoming, accommodating and super cool. Really good crew. The place itself is so chill. Layback atmosphere, some really cool music plays in the background, classic Hip Hop, Funk/Soul breaks and more.. historical art decor fills the walls and vibes are always right in the spot. Might even have some games on the TVs.. great spot altogether.. You can see the Pizza cook in their fire oven.. Pretty cool I think. So if you're looking for a really cool spot to munch at in the Bronx Kingsbridge Neighborhood, you should definitely check out Kingsbridge Social Club. It's a vibe! Have a good one yall! -Ray
