This pizza used to be good about 5 years ago. The owner started churning out frozen section grade pizzas on an automatic pizza maker. The food is horrible. Pizza tastes like bread with ketchup and cheap processed cheese. Seriously... it was horrible . Would not recommend. Would not go. You don't go either. It's an insult to pizza. read more

Venice Pizza is great pizza made by chefs you would least expect to behind the marinara. I'm a regular, so I say try it out. I literally crave their Broccoli and Chicken pizza... I've even got others to crave it as well. Small shop with great people always friendly and accommodating. They have a great menu of a variety of dishes. They even offer a $5 menu of great pasta dishes and parmigiana heroes. I recommending calling ahead because this is a neighborhood staple so the weight time can be long at times. Especially at prime time hours, when ordering pies and large orders. They are closed on Mondays. Parking is difficult and this is not really a sit down place (they do have a couple of tables and chairs), an order and go establishment. read more

Then I went through the whole NO SALT conversation AGAIN, while HISSING, she said I'll give you a $3.00 credit! WAIT, WHAT??? I said NO, after a long pause, she said I will send you a new salad. It came, I ate it and was sick all night! SERVES ME RIGHT! I should NEVER have had them send me another egg salad! What was I thinking? You eat the first half and you're suddenly transported to an umami dimension. You eat the second half and you're back in real life, sad because you finished your sandwich. I'll admit, it's seen better days. But you can blame the fat cats on Wall St. for all of the economy's cutbacks. Hell, even blame them for the lower quality in anime because that dragged out season of One Piece is a direct result in lower wages for animators. There are a variety of things I could say, and too a variety of things you could try at Venice. But I'll start by saying this......They're Grrrrrrreat! Ultra reasonable prices! Delicious food, from their buttery pepperoni and cheese garlic bread, to their mozzarella sticks with marinara, from their $5 chicken parm accompanied with a $3.50 hefty garden salad, you've achieved a perfectly healthy gut satisfyingly fabulous lunch all under $9! They also have the best tasty hamburger pizza of all! The best salads of all! Our favorite is the fried chicken salad topped with mozzarella cheese, and we order plenty of ranch dressing. Love, love their chocolate mousse cake, and cheese cake! And I do enjoy their fruit cup, especially when the fruit is in season. And of course, they have speedy delivery! Try them! Only one point of contention. Every once in a blue moon the delivery guy may be a bit too shy to come up to an intimidating building, so you may receive a call to come out, which I don't particularly care for. I ordered their eggplant rollatini and it came with a side of pasta and OMG this was SO MUCH FOOD! I was very excited because I figured in one order I had lunch and dinner but..... I didn't like the rollatini. It was super salty! So they get three stars because the linguini was good, their prices are awesome and they send a lot of food. I ordered a large pie and a double order or garlic knots. The pie was super doughy and the garlic not had NO garlic. They had green specks of Shi** on it. They where beyond dry and brittle. I can't say anything wrong about this little hole in a wall spot. This place has amazing shrimp parm heroes and shrimp parm with spaghetti. And they are not cheap at all with the portions its just amazing how you don't have to pay that much for an excellent dish. I don't ever eat inside I always order for pick up and the owners are very friendly everyone in the neighborhood goes there for there shrimp or chicken parm dishes. They also make some really good breakfast sandwiches. I always here about people raving about their pizza I had it once I wasn't that thrilled with it. I really liked Jerry's pizzeria down the block way more. But this place makes excellent Italian dishes and this is the reason why I go there for their parm dishes. read more

I've been ordering from Venice almost everyday for the past 3 years with no problem. Today I went to order one of our favorites (a Sicilian pie which is $16) and was told I had to add $4 more to make my order complete. When I called to inquire why & expounded my situation to the woman I was treated very rudely even though I informed her how I've been a loyal customer all these years. Not mention a great tipper. I actually over tip. So much so all the delivery workers know me by 1st name & are always ecstatic to see me. Now I was treated as if none of that mattered & was abruptly hung up on. So not only have they switched up & started using cheaper linguine but they're service has fallen as well. Treating it's Best customers with no appreciation as if we never mattered. This restaurant has been around for as long as I can remember! Once you walk through the doors, you can smell the fresh smell of garlic and sauce. This is my favorite spot to order lunch. People in my company are always raving about their daily specials. They give the perfect portion for just $5! They have eggplant, chicken, shrimps, meatballs and you can have it with pasta or on a hero! What a great bargain. Their salads are yummy too for $3.50.
