Just got a tattoo tonight from Little Mike, whom I had gotten a tattoo from 8 years ago at a place called assylum, and I have to say I'm very happy with the work. I let him know what I wanted and he drew it up no problem. Stand up guy and a stand up artist. He is real with you about what will work and what will look good. If he thinks something isn't a good idea he lets you know. If you let his artisc eye do its job you'll walk out the place with something that will get complements for years to come. My friend had wanted a tattoo as well but had not really made up his mind. The artist who was helping him, told him he should really think about what he wanted before he got something that he wasn't sure about. Needless to say he didn't get the tattoo but I think it was very professional of them to turn him down and tell him to think more about what he wants and to come back. Many shops would have just inked him up and pushed him out the door with something he'd regret. All in all, I was very happy. I highly recommend you check this place out if your looking for some work. It's clean, the artist care about what they put out, and they have no problem telling you the truth. I have to change my review based upon my most recent experience there last week. I've wanted a tattoo from Sam Fiorino for a while- I saw his work on Instagram and immediately loved his style of art.So I made an appointment to get a tattoo of my dog. I got there- he showed me the drawing and after some very minor adjustments he set up. He made sure I was happy with the placement etc. My tattoo took about four hours. Sam checked with me often to make sure that I was doing okay with the pain level. I have a pretty considerable amount of tattoos- I think Sam did a good job working fast to not aggravate the area and let me take breaks to get up and walk about a bit etc. He's also nice to chat with- I think that's important in a tattoo artist because you end up spending a lot of time with them so it's nice to have pleasant conversation. Overall- It was great! It seems like everyone in the shop gets along pretty well. Everyone I encountered was really nice and the shop was clean as well. Its now a week later- My tattoo is nearly done healing. I was really shocked at the lack of ink leakage. I lost almost zero ink during healing. The only ink i saw come off was during the peeling stage and The tattoo is still absolutely amazing and beautiful. Im so so happy with it, and really proud to show it off. read more

I got a recommendation from a friend to visit ATI in White Plains. The recommendation included, "great artists on staff, clean shop, friendly staff, walk ins welcomed." My experience included all of the aforementioned items and then some. I visited ATI this weekend for a simple tattoo with some color. I walked in to see Mike finishing a technical work of art (awesome Statue of Liberty) on some dudes arm; looked awesome! I spoke to friendly staff that said they get me in within the hour. I left and grabbed a burger at Westchester Burger Co and returned to ATI, and visited with Lindsay. Lindsay was professional, knowledgable, and friendly. She quickly eased my nerves by providing details on the before and after of my tattoo. The finished product looks GREAT and I'm so happy I worked with Lindsay. Honestly, I felt comfortable working with any of the artists because they were down to earth and professional. Prior to visiting ATI, I stopped by Big Joes on Mamaroneck... Bad idea! I walked in to find an old shop with kids watching Team America: World Police, looking at me like I owed them something instead of the other way around. There was no comparison to ATI, especially the first impression I had of cleanliness. I walked out with a bad taste in my mouth, very unprofessional. I highly recommend visiting ATI, at minimum to ask questions. Make sure to give yourself some time to find parking. Very easy, but its a few blocks away down residential streets (super easy). What a comfortable tattoo experience, would give 6 stars if I could. read more

My tattoo artist of the last ten years moved across the country and I was looking for a new artist one of the guys who works there was recommended by family but I never got that far. First artist there, little mike was super rude and turned me off to the whole feel of the shop. I was taken aback and he seemed like he couldn't care less. I've been here twice now in the past month and both times have been pleasant. Both tattoos were done as a walk in and I never waited more than 20 minutes to get in the chair. Both of my artists were extremely friendly and engaged in conversation throughout my tattoos, which included the always nice question "how are you holding up?" (and I do mean it, it's off putting when artists don't ask if you're okay). Both my tattoos came out clean and even my mother (who is not a fan of my body art) agreed that they look really good. I got my first tattoo here and the people were unbelievably rude and inhospitable towards me and my siblings. I went to get a very simple small design as a walk in on a not particularly busy day and they first ignored me for about thirty minutes then kept acting like the tattoo i wanted wasn't good enough for them to tattoo, followed by the artist asking other people to do it because he didn't want to. And at the end the artist handed me the "how to care for your tattoo" sheet and walked away before I could ask any questions. They then over charged me drastically, considering two of my siblings have the same tattoo as me from another shop and they paid nearly thirty dollars less then what I paid. The four stars are for Little Mike only. This place is really cool, so it seems at first. The girl at the front of the store is so rude. She has zero customer service skills. She asked for our id then turns her back to us for a few minutes. When I asked for a tattoo, all of the artists were "too busy" to help us. Even though they had zero customers and were too busy watching game of thrones. We almost walked out until the owner , Mikey stepped up and said he would do it. All in all the tattoo came out great but I definitely left with a sour taste in my mouth. I got my nose pierced here in April 2015, and I love it! Didn't make an appointment or anything, just went in and the piercing guy was busy so I waited (under a half an hour) and got it done quickly and pretty painlessly. The WORS service EVER!!! I would never go back or refer anyone ! I called two days before going there to schedule an appointment and I was told that they only schedule for big work but since I was looking for a small tattoo then they would fit me in "First Come First serve" and suggested to be there early as they open the shop @1pm. I went there before 1pm and waited till they opened up to make sure I was the first client . I waited for 2 hrs and they still didn't care to work on me because my tattoo was a small one so it wasn't worth their time . However, they were all on their phones taking selfies and chatting with each other. Their manager was very rude to my 8 month pregnant friend that came with me (It was my first tattoo so I was super nervous) and I and told us that if we didn't want to wait any longer , there were two other shops down the road to get the tattoo done. STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE unless you got plenty of time to waste and don't mind sitting for hours on their dirty seats. read more

My experience with Addicted to Ink was similar to another reviewer's. I walked there from my office (8 blocks 2x) to speak to them about the small, matching tats my friend & I were looking to get. They refused to give us appointments saying "come right when we open & we'll take you as walk-ins". They didn't tell us no artist is dedicated to walk-ins so if they've all got appointments, you have to wait. No parking except street or mall, so if you have to wait, you're screwed! We arrived Sunday, 1 pm to find we had everyone had appointments! The guy who spoke to us didn't have a good explanation. No matter; we found a better, friendlier place in Yonkers that takes appointments on-line regardless of the size or complexity. This place made us feel as if our 2 measly tattoos weren't worth the trouble. Their loss!! read more

On August 28 2019 I got my septum pierced by KeriMee at this place. Once I got it pierced the healing it process was excruciating. It never healed and it constantly bleed and was painful. I came back two weeks later to tell them it was up and they literally shewd me away in the front door and told me i was fine without even looking at it I'm not even joking. I have actually gotten an infection from the piercing which I had to go to the doctors office with. My doctors had no experience with piercings hence they didn't see how bad it actually was. I wrote a review on the healing process problem in December but deleted it due to thinking it might get better. My infection that cleared up but the nose piercing still couldn't move and still wasn't healing. Ive spent over 200 dollars to fix my septum because i was convinced that i had done something wrong in the process to it was just my body. I got it removed a couple weeks ago by my local piecer. TURNS OUT she pierced through a part of bone; way off from the sweet spot; which now leaving me with PERMANENT pain and damage in my nose. Two other girls went with me; one got 2 nose piercings and the other a dermal. Both rejected. She didn't even use the right piercing on me!! I cannot do anything about this since that I signed the contract they've given me. I am EXTREMELY EXTREMELY upset at this place and at this piercer. I am never going her again. She has given me permanent damage and has ruined my nose. SHE SHOULD BE FIRED; PERIOD. read more

Went there tonight for my second lobe piercing, and it was awesome. The guy at the desk who greeted me was friendly, the place was clean, and the environment was just nice. It's what you'd want from a place with people who are going to be working on your body. My piercer's name was Keri. She was friendly as well, and quick. Before she did my piercing, she pierced somebody else, and that piercing was quick too. She cleaned up before she sat me down. My piercing took around 3 minutes, if even. Besides being friendly and clean, it's also super affordable. I would recommend it to anybody, and I will be going back. read more

Lindsay took her time when designing my bow tattoo and corresponded via email until I was happy with the result. Even during my appointment, the entire staff looked out for one another. Joe Mumola did some dope work for me. Had a gift certificate so I made the trip to use it and looking at placement and the surrounding ink already on my arm picked out a sweet dagger. Afterward I payed and it wasn't the full balance of the gift certificate, so as I was about to walk out I just asked if he could stick around for another one. I had a decent piercing experience here. But went in to inquire about a tattoo and had a BAD experience. Arrived a few minutes before opening time and parked in the back. Sign on the Wall said Addicted to Ink. Went inside and was rudely told I had to move my car. I explained I had a brief question but was cut off and told to move my car. There's NO street parking and parking lot for a mall is a hike down the street. Basically told TOO BAD move the car. So I did, and I'll NEVER GO BACK. Whatever happened to the customer comes first? I got a piercing here the other day and it was great!! Piercings are walk-ins so I was expecting a long wait but I only waited about 15 minutes before it was my turn. Can't describe how unhappy I am about my experience at this establishment and with my artist John Kosco. Was there about a week ago, I should have never gone through with the tattoo. He never wanted to do it from the beginning. John treated me very poorly, after showing him what I wanted (which I know wasn't the most fascinating) he acted like it bothered him to do it. Like I said I also blame myself I should have more intuitive about his demeanor. Don't get me wrong his line work is good but nothing about my tattoo looks anything like what I showed him. I have gone to this establishment many times with many friends who have gotten piercings and or tattoos done, and every single time I have seen their work and it is always phenomenal. Yet, I am rating Addicted To Ink 3 stars, as I myself got a piercing done here for the first time a few months ago in April. I got a bridge piercing done, at the hefty price tag of $70 (I think, don't 100% remember, it may have been more). The piercing was in the perfect spot, yet even after following all after piercing care procedures, I suffered inflammation and irritation for the months that followed. The piercing began shifting and rejecting, and ultimately I had to temporarily retire it, and got it redone at another great parlor in Manhattan. The piercer there told me that the initial piercing was done incorrectly, as they should have put in a straight bar instead of the curved one I was pierced with at addicted. As you can imagine this was frustrating to hear as I payed a pretty penny for this piercing only for it to reject and scar due to having the wrong jewelry placed in it by the piercer. read more

I got my fifth tattoo there about two years ago, and I still have people asking me "is that new?" everyone there is knowledgeable and very talented, I was lucky enough to have Mike tattoo an intricate Buddhist symbol on my forearm. It's the best one I've gotten and I receive many compliments on it. My experience at Addicted to Ink was great! I actually went in to see if it was possible for them to switch the jewelry in my daith piercing. I had a heart earring in originally, but needed to take it out for an x-ray and had a hard time getting it back in. I had gone to another piercing place where the piercer (who commented she hadn't done this piercing in ten years) made my ear bleed from trying to jam it back in. I decided to try another place after that disaster, and went to Addicted to Ink at a friend's recommendation. They were clean, accommodating and extremely pleasant. My piercer (I believe her name was Nicole) was sweet and funny, and she put it back in with no problem for no charge! It was quick and easy.
