    Eggs, Benedict and hashbrowns!

It's very comfortable and welcoming here. The staff are happy and delightful and I heard my waitress sing a little. There is lots of light in the restaurant and the food had the perfect amount not to stuff me over. Also the mimosas are bigger than most places which I loved.

A diner that feels like home with a breakfast and lunch options. Always love going here with my family as the menu is affordable and if you want a simple and typical American Breakfast.

Absolutely wonderful place. Cool and cozy, great service! I had a family yummy that I always have to have, Eggs Benedict, OH YEAH nothing to think about, I almost licked the plate clean! I drove 7 miles to it after I saw it on Facebook. It was worth it for sure and I WILL be back!

    Cute!

We popped in here yesterday for breakfast and it was a treat! It's super cute and cozy inside with a nice patio as well! Our server Hayes was fantastic and had a great personality! The food was wonderful. I had the beef patty breakfast which was also great! We will definitely be back!

In the wee, early morning hours, before the sun has fully roused itself from slumber, there lies a tucked-away nook in the heart of Boise--a quiet, modest establishment christened Addie's, a name as unassuming as the diner itself. One might wander through the meandering lanes of the neighborhood, past the still houses, and find this humble refuge from the yawning abyss of day, a shelter for those in pursuit of sustenance that is at once frugal and fair, a rare commodity in these times of dear prices and stretched purses. The doors swing open, and within, a flood of light, natural and soft, pours through clean glass windows, casting an ethereal glow upon the humble domain. The tables and chairs, simple yet steadfast, stand in neat rows, awaiting the weary traveler or the early riser seeking solace in the routine comforts of breakfast. It is a place where the cacophony of the world outside fades, replaced by the symphony of clanging plates, the jangling of silverware, and the murmuring voices of patrons whose words intermingle with the sizzling melodies of short-order cooks, busy at their stations, conjuring meals from modest ingredients. There is no jukebox here, no mechanized minstrel to serenade you with tunes of days gone by. Instead, the air is alive with the organic music of the diner itself, the sounds of life in its most unadorned form--an orchestra of the everyday. The coffee, weak as a televangelist's 's tears, flows freely, it lacks the rich depth of flavor that might rouse a man from his reverie. Yet, the dark water is a small price to pay for the warmth it provides, a liquid comfort to accompany the simple fare set before you: eggs, toast, perhaps a strip or two of bacon, all affordable still, though the world outside may demand ever more for ever less. The servers, young and sprightly, are seemingly local students, their eyes bright with the promise of futures yet to be written. They move with a hurried grace, their voices devoid of the honeyed endearments of blue-haired matrons past, but there is a kindness in their efficiency, a youthful earnestness that forgives any lack of familiarity. They come and go, bearing plates and cups, weaving through the labyrinth of tables with practiced ease. Addie's is not a place of excess or pretense, but rather a bastion of simplicity and sincerity, a relic of a time when such virtues were more common, now tucked away in the quiet bosom of Boise's neighborhoods. And yet, it is not without its challenges. Parking is scarce, a precious commodity in this secluded corner of the city, a reminder that even here, in this pocket of peace, the world's demands cannot be fully escaped. But for those who find their way to Addie's, who step inside and take a seat amidst the chatter and clang, there is a sense of belonging, a feeling that in this diner, at least for a moment, one can be at peace with the world and all its noise.

    You will not be disappointed.

Love this place! It's like the 80's show Cheers ! Everyone get to know your name. Heidi the owner has more than 20 years of restaurant experience and it shows. Food comes quick, hot and just what you would expect. Easy parking and good people with a good vibe. Their menu is very reasonable in $. 4-8-2025 Update, just had their eggs Benedict ! Amazing and they do eggs so good.

The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the overall experience was just as great as we remembered. The Brussels sprouts are a huge fav for us. The sauce is so flavorful and we order them every time! Great atmosphere and excellent service recovery!…read more I stopped by Tupelo Honey in downtown Boise for lunch and loved the vibe. The decor features beautiful artificial greenery that gives the space a light, vibrant, and welcoming feel. My server, Brayden, was fantastic--friendly, prompt, and attentive. I started with the Southern Hospitality mimosa (peach & pineapple with "Blue Ridge Bubbly"), which was incredible. For my meal, I chose the $10.99 Lunch Break Special, upgrading my side to the chicken poblano soup alongside the half honey pecan chicken salad sandwich. While I was looking at the bar, a gentleman named Scott asked how I was enjoying my food. I told him I hadn't tried it yet, but that the mimosa was rocking! The soup was delicious with great flavoring, and the biscuits paired perfectly with their tasty jam. The chicken salad also tasted great, but unfortunately, I bit into a sharp chicken bone that hurt my mouth. Because of this, I stopped eating the sandwich. When Brayden checked back in, I let him know I couldn't finish it due to the bone. He handled it perfectly, promptly took the sandwich away, and removed the charge from my bill. He also brought out some bread for my soup as requested. I finished my meal with a salted caramel craft iced latte, which was absolutely delicious. Minor food mishap aside, the outstanding customer service from both Brayden and Scott will definitely bring me back!

We did have to have a small wait. I love the fact that they were busy! Nothing makes me happier than seeing a local business thrive! It was a little over 10 minutes of wait time. No problem, we chilled in the car till we got our text to come in. We were sat, got coffee and juice ordered and checked out the menu. We were both hungry so everything looked good. My husband decided on a stack of pancakes with chocolate chips and a side of biscuits and gravy. I got the Big boy omelet with Moe Joe's potatoes. Our server, I believe her name is Kendra, was super sweet! I have served her before when she came in and ate my at family's restaurant. She was fabulous as a guest and fabulous at taking care of us today. I had requested a fresh cup of half and half that wasn't used my multiple guests. I'm still bring careful with my new kidney. With no hesitation, she gladly gave me a fresh cup of half and for my coffee. I appreciate her kindness so much. Food came out and booooyyyyy did everything look amazing! My husband's pancakes were fluffy and had plenty of chocolate chips. The biscuits were covered with gravy. My omelet was massive and was also covered in gravy. I was ready to tear into them potatoes! They were nice and charry. I know this meal is about to hit! I don't think I said a word to my husband for 15 minutes. The food was so good! Nothing important needed to be talked about when the food was doing the talking for us. My omelet was stuffed with green peppers, onions and all the 3 meats that came with it. I love love love the gravy on top! The potatoes were crispy on the outside and so soft in the middle. The potatoes with gravy is top tier! Of course I tried my husband's pancakes.... so fluffy and sweet. The biscuits weren't crazy dense. I love that they were airy. I really had to hold back on the pancakes, I still had a whole omelet to work on. But them pancakes were the business! It's sad that this joint is clear across town. I would eat here every week if I could. Everything we had today was so good! Everything I had last time was good! The service is fantastic. I adore Memory and Peyton. Now I get to add Kendra to my list! One of the best breakfast joints in town, hands down! I'm so happy I got to start my birthday week at Moe Joe's! I look forward to coming back very soon.

I came here for a late lunch around 2 pm after arriving in Boise. They weren't crowded at this point but business wasn't dead either. My waitress was very friendly. I had the French dip sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious and tasted homemade in the best way. The "meat" of the sandwich was seitan. I don't THINK it was a perfect meat replica (but I've never had a real French dip), but it was very flavourful. I loved the flavour and the thick cut of their bread, but it didn't have much structure and fell apart easily as I was eating which made the sandwich very messy. The tomato basil soup was a little different. It was slightly creamy but brothy and a little chunky - not a smooth puree. Again, it tasted great and was nice and light, which was a good contrast to the very rich sandwich. It was a little slow, especially considering they weren't that busy. I didn't really mind since I wasn't on a schedule, but this is something to be aware of - don't come here for a quick meal. Not cheap, but worth it for the quality.
