I came here for the first time today with my wife. I had been to the Eagle and South Meridian locations in the past. This Griddle is located at McMillan and 10 Mile, in the same shopping center as The Broken Yolk. Tucked in the corner, it has lots of windows, providing a nice view of trees and grass from the inside. There is also an outdoor patio that looked inviting. The inside is much the same as the other locations. High ceiling, a mixture of booths around the perimeter and tables on the main floor. There is counter seating as well. I'm not sure about the other locations, but this Griddle has the sound dampener squares in the ceiling that, in my opinion, probably keep the noise level down and make it easier to talk. This morning, Thursday, it was seat yourself. We chose a booth toward the back. Our server, Valeria, was excellent. She kept our water glasses filled and a warm up of my coffee before it got below 3/4. She was nice and attentive. A great server. My wife had eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, and toast. I had the Veggie Lovers omelet, hashbrowns, and toast. My wife enjoyed her entree, and I tried the maple sausage and it was tasty. We both ordered our hashbrowns crispy, and the top was nice and brown. My omelet was just OK for me. a few artichoke hearts on top, with spinach, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes inside. The onions were chopped into fairly large chunks, which I don't really care for. I felt it lacked flavor, despite me salting it, twice, and putting salsa on top (not spicy). They give you one piece of toast, which I actually like, because I don't need to eat too much bread. I don't think I'd order that omelet again. All in all, my first visit to this Griddle was very nice and we will certainly be back. read more

Abby is an excellent server, all the staff is very welcoming. Tiffany saw us grab our table and brought us menus and drinks with a warm friendly smile. Food came out quick and was great. Ordered my eggs over medium well, is what I Said to the waitress. The food came out eggs were like they were walked through a warm room. I started eating my hash browns my wife motioned to the waitress she came over she said is there a problem. My wife said his eggs are not done like he asked. So the waitress said ok the next thing I know my whole plate is being taken away as I was eating my hash browns. She brought them back and they still weren't cooked right. The manager came over and my wife said his eggs still weren't cooked right. So he said we'll take them back I said no I don't want to wait anymore. He said would you some hot sauce or catchup. Thought what the hell! Said no he walked away. They didn't even take the eggs off the bill. Not good customer service anymore!!!!! Well never go back !!!! read more

Overall really great experience! Staff were soooo nice, and the food was great. I'm generally picky about cinnamon rolls and pecan rolls because I make them myself, and typically I find them too sweet when I'm buying elsewhere. Their pecan roll here was delicious and had a great texture to their dough, and wasn't too sweet. My husband ordered the Southwest crepe and he loved it. I ordered the chicken fried steak because that's usually my baseline order for brunch places. It was good, but I would say the coating isn't your typical chicken fried steak batter, and the steak got pretty salty the more bites I took. We also ordered Rosie's French toast which was also really delicious! Would definitely come back for this and the pecan rolls. They also serve Dawson Taylor coffee, which is really good. read more

This is my favorite location of the Griddle! They are a big step above the other locations in service. The service is friendly, fast, and kind! Even on busy days the wait seems to be accurate and speedy. Amazing food, and great coffee! Super cute location with lots of seating! Can't wait to enjoy the patio in the summer! read more

I will have to admit that it did take some time to get our food out and luckily we weren't in a rush otherwise it would have been an issue but that was the only downside. The latte, I had ordered was a little too strong for my taste and no special flavors . But definitely worth the try. read more

Went to The Griddle recently while on a little trip to Meridian/Boise area. I've tried their Boise location but this was the first time trying their new Meridian location. We waited about 30 minutes before we were able to get a seat. Inside was decorated really cute. Service was okay. I think our waitress was a little overwhelmed so it took us a while to actually order. Three of the people in our group ordered the Gravy Train potatoes with 3 different types of eggs. This dishes looked really good. My boyfriend said he felt like there weren't enough potatoes for all the gravy though, said he would probably get something different next time. I ordered the California omelet. I liked it. The cream cheese was a different add in for this but I didn't hate it. I thought my hashbrowns were overcooked. They were kind of hard to eat because they all stuck together. My boyfriend ordered a side of bacon but the order was placed wrong & we received a side French Toast. They ended up leaving that for us to try & got him an order of bacon placed quickly. The French toast slice we tried was pretty good. We also ordered a side of biscuits & gravy. I didn't love their gravy as much as I have other places. But it was pretty good. Portion was pretty big on this. If I went back, I think we would all get something new to try. O.M.G!!! The almond crusted French toast-- GET IT!! It's so delicious I don't even need syrup!! Covered in fresh berries and plenty of almonds. Chai Tea Latte is also amazing! The food was below average. My chicken-fried steak had a Worcestershire-heavy flavor that overpowered the flavorless gravy, and the large slice of super-smoky ham overpowered my wife's eggs Benedict. Great pancakes, corned beef hash was very nice but eggs Benedict was sad. Hollandaise sauce had zero flavor. They need to change their coffee. It tasted like coffee flavored hot water. Orange juice was amazing as it was fresh squeezed. Did not try their other items that look interesting like the crepes and French toast but this is based on just what we had. read more

Went to The griddle for the first time and it was an enjoyable experience. The staff was friendly, curtious, and took care of everything promptly. We had a party of 6 and all of the food was cooked as expected. I had the Chorizo Benedict and it was made perfectly and tasted great. A friend and I went to first watch for breakfast and after being told it would be an hour wait, we decided to drive down to the griddle on McMillan. They only had a 10 minute wait and we were seated outside and their lovely back patio area. Having lived in Winnemucca for many many years, I am a fan of the original griddle. This restaurant did not disappoint. They have some of the classics and some new menu items. The atmosphere on the patio is lovely and the inside of the restaurant is just as nice with spacious tables and a lot of room. It is not crowded whatsoever even with every table occupied. My friend ordered the Western scramble and I ordered the Huevo rancheros. Both were excellent. We also ordered a hot cake to split and I have never had a better pancake in my life. It was excellent and I thought about it all day. Please give these guys some business at this location. There is another breakfast spot in the same strip mall and Rudy's next-door also serves food which is excellent. I love having a breakfast and lunch restaurant in this area. You won't be disappointed. I will mention, the wait staff was amazing. The manager came by and personally checked on every single table. Great job all the way around.
