Tonight we went to Bottega Toscana Authentic Italian restaurant in Nampa where they served a fixed menu. The owners are from Sicily and the service was top notch! We were supposed to get a three course meal but ended up getting a four course meal that included Caprese salad, green salad, lasagna, and chocolate salami with a welcome drink and bread all for $35. I also order Tempranillo red wine that the waitress recommended for $3.50. I even grabbed a bag of Italian coffee for $12. Everything was amazing! I can't wait to return. read more

We often go for breakfast never disappoints! But we ordered from the Italian part of the restaurant Botegga Tuscano we got the Agilio pasta and the lasagne. Out of this world! First of all the portion of lasagne was enough for three people! And was melt in the mouth! They have Saturday Italian nights highly recommended!!!! read more

Tried Coffee Cup Cafe for breakfast on a recent Sunday morning. For 9:30am, it was on the busy side, but the two of us were seated immediately. Definitely a family-friendly breakfast/lunch spot. Apparently they do Italian dinners on Saturdays. All of the staff had t-shirts with the name of an Italian restaurant. Seemed odd. We got coffee, which was delivered quickly. Had to ask for water. For a place with "coffee" in the name, I expected at least a decent cup. Nope. I can usually doctor up bad coffee with sweetener and creamer. Their coffee had no flavor at all. Hence, asking for water. Hubby is more of a coffee-snob so he was really disappointed. The food and service were great. I got the Denver omelet and he got the chicken fried steak. We both really liked our food. As usual, I ordered my hashbrowns extra crispy and they were perfect. The gravy and breading on the the steak were also really good. So, for the food and service we'd definitely come back. Especially to try their lunch menu. But we both agreed we would stick with iced tea or soda if we needed the caffeine. read more

Per the message from the new management we decided to give the restaurant another chance. We are glad we did. While I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here I would eat here if I'm in the area. We had to wait 30 minutes, even though they weren't that busy. Finally received our breakfast. Bacon well over done, sausage over done, hash browns burnt. Asked the waitress why everything was burnt. Her reply, we have a table of 12 back there. "Do you want to send your food back." No i am not waiting again Can I have strawberry instead of grape jam. "No that's all we have." A while later she gives me strawberry jam. When I paid the bill I told her, it was her job to make sure the breakfast was correct. She said "not my problem". I had my vintage BMW 2002 in the shop a few weeks ago. I arrived at the appmt time and work started immediately. The guys did a great job repositioning my exhaust system from the resonator back to the muffler. This has been my second time in the shop and the work has been consistently professional. 3 adults came for lunch on a Sunday. We were seated promptly and were given water. When our order was taken we asked for 2 coffee, we had to ask for our coffee again 10 minutes later. We got there at 12:10 and after waiting for an hour our food still had not come. 4 tables that came after us had been served. We finally left and when we told them why, we were told that they were training a new person. Over $6 for 2 cups of coffee and poor service was disappointing. Probably will not return. read more

Have been there a few times. Nothing to brag about as far as service and quality of food. We went in Sunday Oct 3rd and was surprised. Walked in and absolutely no social distancing at all. Looked like it was a year ago and Covid wasn't around. No personel was wearing face coverings and absolutely packed with people. No tables were spaced for social distancing as per Idaho and CDC. requirements. I asked the hostess and she said that in Canyon County it wasn't mandatory to wear masks or for social distancing. She did mention she would wear a mask if it made us feel better. So I said " yeah and are you going to ask the 6 tables of people that are surrounding this table by maybe 3-4 feet.. we left and will probably never go back!! Really no great loss anyway.. Had breakfast there today, not our first time there BUT..... the restaurant itself was cold inside, enough to keep your down jacket on throughout the time there. My complaint is when we got our food, the plate was cold, hence the food cooled off after 2 bites. Sent 1 back to zap it in the microwave, other sent his back to have a new one made. Mine came back on a new plate, still a cold plate, I re-sent it back to be remade also. Both came back, on cold plates AGAIN!!!! Eat fast , or take half home, which is what I decided to do. Again the food was good...... we even asked if they had a plate warmer or had anyone ever complained about this! NO, NOBODY HAS COMPLAINED ABOUT IT BEFORE the waitress said. Enough ranting. I was more familiar with their location on Garrity. I went to the location on Garrity and it was closed, but they should have a sign saying, "Hey, we moved!" I was thrilled when I found them; they moved to the same area of Nampa that Island Kine Grinds moved to. I love going to Coffee Cup. It has this feeling of breakfast being cooked at home. The atmosphere is welcoming and I love the service. They are very attentive and asking how your meal is. The food, of course, is really good. They are very generous. I always get this plate full of hashbrowns, sausage, bacon, bell pepper, onion, covered with gravy and scrambled eggs. I forget what it is called. I wish I had time to come here more often. They refuse to believe that one of their employees stole a customer phone when it was found hidden in her car later that day. They called the customer a liar. I ordered a ruben sandwich for $ 10.95. I got a few strings of corned beef & a lot of cabbage- i opened it because all I could taste was cabbage- pics attached. I showed the waitress & she said she'd tell THEM. After 20 minutes or so of nothing, I asked to speak to the manager. She eventually came back with a little custard dish with a small amount of meat (& cabbage) & said the mgr was too busy making orders to come talk to me!!! That tells me a few things- 1st if she's making the orders she knew exactly how little meat she put on my sandwich-shame on her, 2nd, if she could not take 2 minutes of her time to acknowledge her mistake & apologize then she should not be a mgr. All I wanted was a nice meal with my son & grandson. Lots of places are busy & we understand waitiing for your food, but I did not order a cheese & cabbage sandwich, nor did anyone acknowledge or apologize. That was NOT good service & there are so many other great places to eat in Nampa. We will not go there again-I'm sure they could care less. I could not attach the pictures I took here, I 'll find a way to do so even if it means posting another review because people need to see the few little strings of meat on that sandwich. The Coffee Cup in Nampa just over charged me and then when I brought it to their attention they began arguing and threatened to call the police on me. Horrible!!!! The absolute worst customer service experience EVER!!!! All over $1.25!!!! Welcome to the new normal!!! UPDATE!!!!! The manager ACTUALLY called the police on me AFTER I left and stated that I assaulted her (LIE). She is the reason tax dollars$$ are wasted! Calling the police on someone because they don't see eye-to-eye with you. She wouldn't adjust my bill...told me I already ate my food and I should have returned 1 egg off my plate to the waitress (yes, that's right...I should have given them back the extra egg they gave me) ...rudely asked me to pay and leave or she would call the police...paid and left...never going back! End of story, or so I thought... 2 Police officers just came to my house to notify me of a Trespass Order. I am no longer allowed at Coffee Cup in Nampa. Was it necessary??? Probably the worst breakfast place in Nampa. You know the food isn't very good when there's never a wait to get in on Sundays

As others have said, for a place with "Coffee" in the name, it's "funny" how our server unflinchingly served us the dregs of a pot, then set the remaining "dregs of the dregs" BACK on the warmer/burner, in plain view, I'm talking like the last 1/4 inch in that pot. My wife remarked "I hope you didn't want any more coffee, cause you will be getting that" calling the roasting bitter dregs to my attention . . . sigh. Ordered the classic American classic breakfast, chicken fried steak and eggs, asked for extra gravy, server said "We'll have to charge you for a side of gravy, it's a $1.50." Um, no thanks, I didn't want a BOWL of gravy, just enough to cover the steak, at least. Didn't get that, and nothing on the plate was actually hot, literally as if the "cook" had made the steak, then the hash browns, then the toast, and finally the eggs. Of all four items, the eggs MIGHT have been warm enough to legally serve as food. Once bite of everything, sent it back, ask for a CHEESEBURGER to replace it, just a cheeseburger on a plate, nothing else, to replace the breakfast I didn't even eat. Wife cheerfully reminds the server that "He likes cheese!" Didn't get it. Got a perfectly round, looong dead disc of beef product. Yup, a plain hamburger patty well done beyond edible . . . on a plate . . . nothing else. ?! Same exact round "chicken fried steak" I had earlier rejected as too cold, too dead, and too tough to saw through, even with a "steak" knife. Both the hamburger and the "steak" looked like what comes out of giant bags from Costco or Winco maybe? Got charged full price. Grandma, owner? doesn't care if LOCALS get terrible food and service, charges them full price, (won't deduct a nickle, even if you don't EAT your food) then tells you that you are no longer welcome? LOL no worries there! We won't EVER be going back there, which is too bad, because we live nearby. The second star in my review here is because this horrible mediocrity of a "coffee shop" (server casually tosses a bottle of COLD "Mr's B" syrup on the table, "In case you want more syrup on your french toast)" is conveniently located next to a good burger joint, Blazin' Burgers, and their food is delicious! Got a nice bacon burger and ate in my car . . . outside of this terrible place. Locals avoid at all cost. You can thank me later! read more
