This was the worst massage experience that I have ever had. I left there with a kink in my neck (the one you get when you sleep bad). Before I went I was fine. Only went for relaxation. I had to tell the women massaging me to use the oil because she was rubbing my dry skin. When she was almost done I also had to tell her to massage the lower half of my lower extremities. Decent massage, poor customer service. First time coming here and paid the full price up front. I told the receptionist I'd pay tip in cash after the service, as one normally would. Massage was good but it was pretty cold throughout my 2 hours massage and wasn't offered water post-massage. So my body felt a bit off. I tipped 25% for the service but the receptionist gave me a dirty look (she wasn't wearing a mask) and asked,"That's it?" I did the math again and it was correct. I was baffled and asked her to break my larger bill and literally gave me back half of it... so she took 30% of tip without asking. I told her, "So that's 30%, is that good enough?!" She gave me a dirty look again and said that it was fine. Long story short, not coming here again. Very off-putting. This isn't a luxury spa. My first visit was with my daughter who had visited more then once and with her boyfriend a few times prior. She treated me to a foot massage and I will honestly admit that it was good so after finding a Groupon I decide to treat my self to a full body massage. The massage was decent. (Not as good as the foot massage). Following the massage I gave an $8 tip which was the only cash I had on hand and only as a courtesy NOT out of gratitude. As I was settling up my bill the woman who had given my massage made a comment to the manager/ owner who then told me I had to pay at lease $10 for the tip. Keep in mind I paid for the service (in full) via Groupon, there was no disclosure when purchasing my massage nor upon visiting the salon that stated "TIPS WERE MANDATORY," the service was mediocre and I did not have any other cash on me (not that I would have just undeservingly gave it away if I did). As I turned to exit the salon the "Mad Masseuse" was literally blocking the door. THE TWO WOMAN THEN TRIED TO PRESSURE ME INTO USING MY CARD TO PAY A HIGHER TIP!
