I truly did enjoy this place. You could get the crab filled potstickers either deep-fried or pan seared, and I opted to get them pan seared. They were quite delicious. I actually wish I had ordered more lol. The Philadelphia roll was surprisingly very filling and much more large than I would've expected for a basic roll dish so 10/10 for that. The chicken hibachi was decent, unfortunately they were out of teriyaki sauce which I wanted on the side but that did not change anything for me. what I am really raving about is this beverage that I ordered. I cannot recall the name of it, but it did have the word margarita in it if you do ever decide to order it. I had no choice but to order two of those lol, and they were extremely tasty and strong enough for my liking. All in all my experience was pleasant, and I will decide to return at some point in the future. read more

Hidden inside the Addison circle apartments, this sushi place does a good job to have a community serving feel as well as a restaurant that serves the general population of the city. The food was excellent. Aside of the basic sushi rolls, they had a large selection of specialty rolls. On the menu, each was presented with a pictures and very clear ingredients and wrapping. Speaking of wrapping, they have a large selection of sushi rolls that are not rice wrapped (for this who don't like carbs) Service was excellent as well. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The most underwhelming sushi I've ever had, gave me food poisoning for days and couldn't stop having stomach pains and vomiting. The service was ok but would not recommend at all, and the amount of flies mosquitos and loud cars driving but were horrible. They don't offer little table fans either. Would not recommend at all. Visited here last night with my brother and his girlfriend- we started with the spicy edamame, spring rolls and a house salad. They All were very good. We went on to get the sashimi sampler, and three other kinds of rolls tasted great. The desserts were the all stars in my opinion- the tempura cheesecake and especially the Japanese donuts. I was determined to get here. Was involved in a car collision westbound 635 with my 3 year old, walked away with no injuries (God is good) and still visited this spot for lunch. Again, I was determined to get here. Upon entering this establishment, no greeting was received. The host/waiter/bartender strolled past us from tending to a couple of patio diners and uttered not one single word. I guess my kiddo and I were a couple of "Caspers" that day. A friendly waitress must've noticed that the guy had lost his marbles and immediately greeted us and took our orders. The menu is pretty impressive; one might get "lost in the sauce" (pun intended) quite easily. There has to be over 30 variations of rolls! Tuna Tower- small in size, still unquestionably delicious. I'll continue to order this as long as I'm on God's green earth. Kobe Beef Potstickers- had me "shimmeying". You know something is good when you can't help yourself and dance ;-) Fried Calamari and Fried Oysters- accompanied with enchanting sauces that paired well.. Oysters were a lot larger than I'm used to eating, but no one's complaining. Overall this place is a knockout! I got delivery from here through Uber Eats with my roommate one weeknight. We got 1 appetizer and 4 rolls to split. I am going to put the price from Addison Sushi then in parenthesis, what Uber charges. We got an order of Fried Pork Gyoza $6.75 ($8.77), Big Bayou Roll $14.50 ($18.85), Butterfly Roll $15.00 ($19.50), Philadelphia Roll $9.25 ($12.02) and a Snowy Alaska Roll $14.50 (18.85). The fried gyoza was still crispy and hot even with delivery which was a pleasant surprise. The Big Bayou rill was a little cold but you could tell it was a hot roll. It made the sushi pieces fall apart but the taste was decent. The Philadelphia roll was meh, kind of skimpy on the fish. I am not sure why I keep getting the Butterfly roll everywhere, it always has the same issue of lacking texture and is just mushy but the quality is good. The Snowy Alaska was really good, I enjoyed the pickled onion and thin sliced lemon on top. This was very tasty and my favorite of all the rolls. I really need to go actually eat here as I think it is more of a negative on Uber as they charge ridiculous fees and up charge on every item. Also, certain rolls are not meant to be sitting in a to go container. I would recommend their Gyozas, Sashimi and the Snowy Alaska roll. read more

Since my favorite sushi restaurant relocated, I went looking for a new sushi place. I stumbled upon Addison Sushi 469 (thank you Yelp!) and I've been in love ever since. We've done takeout and had dine in a couple of times over the last month and this place is consistently delicious. We ordered a variety of rolls for take out and the tuna tower; everything was great and I highly recommend the tower. During our our dine in visit, we both got the lunch special - two rolls with soup or salad for under $15. What a deal! The speciality rolls are great and the fish is fresh. The soup was better than the ginger salad but who wants to waste time on that when you have 10 pieces of sushi waiting to be devoured. The menu offers a variety of raw and cooked roll options. Most places only have a few rice rolls but this place offers several rice less options which is awesome. read more

This place is fairly new and I stumbled on it looking for a sushi place with a happy hour. I must say, I was not disappointed! My friend and I ordered the hot sake, sashimi sampler, oyster shooters, tuna tower, and the pirate roll. Everything but the latter was on HH. The hot sake was a good amount for the HH price. The sashimi sampler was delicious - the white fish was our fav on there. Oyster shooters weren't bad but I still prefer oysters from the shell. Tuna tower was delicious. The pirate roll was good, the avocado in there gave it a cream cheese texture (which I don't like cream cheese) but it was fine. It's a quaint little place next to Antonio's (which is also great italian food). Service was good, there's always someone walking around and everyone is open to helping tables out, even if it's not their assigned table. I'll definitely be back to check more items off their regular menu. However, the HH menu is pretty unbeatable! read more

Decent little neighborhood sushi place, but not the best by any means. We ordered the pirate roll, Amazon and eel rolls along with the crispy rice topped with spicy tuna. The main issue with the sushi here is how cold the fish was when served - not frozen, but very close to it, which makes me wonder how fresh the fish really is. The pirate roll had yellowtail which was chewy. The flavors were all generally fine, but the temperature of the fish unfortunately detracted from the experience. Maybe it was an off night, but not keen to revisit anytime soon. read more

Ordered the temper, big bayou, and butterfly kiss roll. Average prices compared to other places around the area. The big bayou is quite the delight! Presentation wise, feels like a plate of food got dumped on top of a sushi roll. But don't let that discourage you from getting it. Chalked full of crawfish tails, this is a great option without having to be a nuclear explosion of spicy heat. The butterfly kiss tasted quite fresh, with the majority of the roll consisting of straight meat. The temper roll was OK, but the earthy green taste of the asparagus was kind of a turn off. If you like a strong taste of asparagus then order this. Otherwise, Id say don't get this one. For all of the above, I will say that the structure of the rolls arent as sturdy as I would like. If you grip them too strongly, they will collapse. They dont have much of a grip either, so I did have to do a balance act on my chopsticks to my mouth. Not a deal breaker, but dont try to eat this while driving or over a precarious situation. Ordered my food to go, but I could tell from the interior that this place tries to host a swanky, chic environment. I wouldn't mind dining in next time Im here. Ill be coming back again sometime soon for sure. read more

SO happy my daughter and her girlfriend turned me on to this place - amazing food! Sashimi Salad - 10/10, each piece of fish melts in your mouth, full of flavors, the dressing on the greens is light - a perfect compliment to the stars of the salad - the sashimi. The popcorn shrimp volcano roll with crawfish and scallop is a flavor bomb! Service is always great too. We're sat both inside and out - great patio space if you have a small group. Inside the sushi bar is the main focus with booths and tables set parallel. It's tight but definitely not cramped. Great space to enjoy a fantastic meal! If you like Sake Nigori their house version is great, the texture is perfect and I didn't find it sweet at all. I think it compliments the fish perfectly. The tropical roll (no rice roll) is fantastic - the avocado and mango are the perfect compliment to the salmon, tuna & yellowtail, it's wrapped in cucumber, don't knock it 'till you try it! We always seem to start with their spicy edamame and mixed tempura - both are always great! Their tempura batter is fantastic, really light and of course super crispy. We started out with the spicy edamame and all I can say is that appetizer was awesome and I completely recommend plus it is not too spicy. We then ordered the Amazing Spider Roll, the Frisco Roll and the Popcorn Shrimp Volcano roll. I will be honest and say I am not a big fan of popcorn shrimp in general but this roll was good. What an awesome experience we had here tonight! My friend and I both had babies with us and the whole staff was so sweet and accommodating towards them, especially our server Skye. (If coming with a baby, just make a note that there is not a changing table in the bathroom) Skye was hands down the best server I've ever had. Knowledgable, incredibly kind, attentive, the works. We had the veg and shrimp tempura appetizer to start that was phenomenal. Lightly breaded, fresh, excellent flavor. So good that we ordered a second one. Edamame was good as well. Came by to meet up with a couple of friends on a Friday evening. The restaurant itself is quite small, and if you don't know your way around the circle/area this restaurant is located, it may be hard to miss. Luckily, the hostess who picked up the call to direct me to the restaurant was patient and even offered to come outside to help guide me to the place! By the time I got there, the crowd had yet to spill in (which it obviously eventually did). We were greeted by some of the most attentive, friendly staff I've ever had the pleasure of being serviced by. The server who helped us at our table was always keen on having conversation and gave recommendations when asked. He was also extremely patient with us considering it took us a while to place an order (we got carried away with talking and catching up). As such, I was so thankful for their service! Definitely some of the best and something to even look forward to when visiting the restaurant. The food itself was absolutely delicious! We decided to go the family style route and had a variety of rolls and appetizers. Everything we had was fantastic and came out promptly and fresh. The portions were also very generous and were perfect for sharing with others if you would like to try a little bit of everything.
