I hired Rick to supervise a crew to install 30 tonnes of pea gravel and 3/4 in rock in our backyard. The scope of the project was to staple fabric across the area, which was approx. 0.15 acres then wheelbarrow the gravel to different areas around the backyard and finally rake it even. Rick was on the project every morning with a positive attitude and strong ownership of the daily work and for the overall project. It's stressful having people doing work around your property for a week, but his team was completely reliable, self sufficient and conscientious about noise levels and such. I also appreciated how clean Rick and his crew left the work site each night. They'd pick up any debris and tools and were ready to go for the next day. After the gravel landscape installation, Rick stayed on to oversee the landscape maintenance of our half acre property with 47 varieties of plants, bushes, trees and grass and over 1000 ft of irrigation. They were shown the main plants and where the root system was because I did some of it up. There were told that I wanted them to dig about 3 feet into the entire bed to make sure the root system was gone. They left about 90% of the root system. They didn't even dig down in the worst areas. I requested then to come back, I sent them pictures . They did not return my calls. I called at least 20 times. I sent several texts with pictures. They charged me 200 for one bed! And all they did was take some leaves from the top, pull some weeds and rough up the soil to like they dugv down. When I was able, I dug down in the worst areas that I showed them and it looked like they didn't even try.
