I had a great experience with the people at Pharmacy Boardshop. I came in once not really knowing what I was looking for while getting back into skateboarding as a 40 something. I looked at various boards and they made some recommendations while being very honest and not putting pressure on me to buy which I really appreciated. I didn't make a purchase then and went back home to do more research. When I went back to the shop, I knew what I wanted and they didn't have it in stock. They happily ordered it all for me and I had everything I wanted in less than a weeks time. They also put it all together at no additional cost. Altogether my setup wasn't cheap but that's because I wanted premium materials. I came back for a skate tool and some pads and will likely be back for some shoes more suitable for skating. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone in the area! read more

This review is gear towards the price and the return policy of pharmacy Boardshop. on 11/128, I visited this pharmacy Boardshop to purchase the suavecito pomade matte. The total price was $16.95 with tax was $18.26. I came home and decided to check the official suavecito website, which is now having a deal of buy one get one free. For the same pomade on their official website is $15.99. You can get 2 pomades with tax for $17.15. Sure. I understand local shop needs to make money. Totally ok since I'm buying for the convenience. What I'm DISAPPOINTED is their return policy. Now I found a better price for my pomade I wanted to return it and just buy off the official suavecito website. However, they refused my refund. The pharmacy Boardshop receipt stated "no refunds. Exchange or store credit only within 30 day with receipt". While I respect that it is their company policy with no refund. I thought it was ridiculous with a no refund and short return policy (most stores are doing 30 even 90 days refund due to holiday shopping/ gifts) THINK TWICE WHEN YOU BUY STUFF HERE. I believe there are way better prices and way better return policy elsewhere! Be smart about your hard earned money and don't make the mistake like I did. ***Update: after seeing some people have previously experienced the same thing I have (check previous 1 star reviews) . I have decided to change my rating from 2 to 1 star, due to lack of sympathy and empathy this company has toward refunding.*** 1. A gentleman who purchased a pair of shoes that gave him pain while wearing those shoes. The store did not care despite the shoes gave the man pain. No exception and not refunded. And even refused to exchange him for a different pair of shoes 2. A veteran who bought a pair of sunglasses later on changed his mind. Wanted to refund was turned down. He also found the same pairs of glasses on Amazon for $40 cheaper. Again, this shop charges higher prices than other places. It also has a strict return policy and offer no refund. So once something is sold, the store gets to keep their money either way. Find yourself a better deal and friendlier return policy at other stores. I will not be returning again. read more

Every time I come to this store everyone is extremely nice and gives the most stellar customer service that I have ever experienced. They really pay attention to the customers in particular my teenage son. They treated him like a 5 star customer which most places do not give good service to teens. Wonderful staff and customer services was superb. They have excellent sales during the spring! I was so elated to buy a pair and get another for FREE! I've been back several times since I've discovered this awesome place two months ago! The selection of clothes is impressive and there's literally new stuff to look at each time I enter. The only thing that turned me off AT FIRST was their return policy (you can exchange but not return), but I've since gotten used to it and I understand why they have their policy. Really cool skate shop in Victoria gardens. Service is really good and they have a lot of great skate accessories. I forgot the gals name, but she was really helpful and attentive. Thank you. I even found my Andy Anderson Powell peralta shirt here. I saw one of the workers grilling a board for a customer which i don't see a lot of shops doing these days. Prices seem a tad higher than other shops, but prob expected since it's in the mall. Looks like they are expanding as well to a bigger spot just a few shops down. Walking in and seeing the workers with no masks on gave me the ick. Super lame and the staff was very unfriendly once the topic of wearing a mask was brought up. I keep on taking a peak inside every few months to see if anything's changed with the staff's mask policies but have been disappointed every time. I really wanted to shop here and support small business in my city, especially during COVID19. However, I was really disappointed to see the young 20something employees NOT wearing masks or trying to social distance from each other or shoppers. Their age group are the ones that are asymptomatic and I felt it was really selfish for them NOT to sport a mask in their air conditioned store to protect their shoppers. Signs all over Victoria Gardens say MUST WEAR MASK. There are so many people too. It's just really irresponsible and unfortunate to see this callous behavior. If there was NO COVID19 my opinion would be different, but CA just got 10K deaths and WE have NO idea how anyone one of us could be affected if we get it. I wanted to buy some clothes for my boys, but I just cannot support a store that didn't follow the safest guidelines to protect their customers.
