    Clubhouse Triple Decker
    Heather C.

Ordered takeout after a long day of driving. I chose the right place for me! First off, I have to mention the size of the "side" of fruit I ordered instead of fries. WOAH! And it was all freshly cut and so delicious. The Clubhouse Triple Decker itself? DELISH. The highlights: mounds of crispy, salty bacon. Fresh tomato, crisp, crunchy lettuce. Everything I could want in a club. Lastly, who gives you a THIRD of a pie? This place, apparently! Banana Cream Pie - YUM.

Great food, tasty and fresh. Steak cooked to the point, tender and flavorful. Great house made pie, thanks!

Garden skillet. Large and loaded with veggies

Great diner style eatery. Lots of choices and breakfast available all day. I i got a short stack of pancakes and glad I did, they were the size of the dinner plate. Kim got the veggie skillet which was loaded. Both meals were great. Our server was Andrea who was excellent. Kept up with all our needs and was quick and efficient. Highly recommend this restaurant.

    A great breakfast

I've been here before, but never posted a review. I was visiting family in town, so decided to stop in for breakfast. The place was bright, fresh, and spotless as usual, and everybody was very friendly and helpful. I'm trying to eat healthier, so I decided to go for the vegetarian omelette. Zucchini, yellow squash, broccoli, mushrooms, onions, jack and cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and sour cream. I'm not a fan of broccoli, so they swapped out spinach for the broccoli. I asked for fruit instead of potatoes, and got a nice selection of melon and orange. Very fresh. The breakfast was excellent. The squash was perfect. Not too mushy, but not too al dente either. It also was seasoned well. The spinach was perfect, not too slimy like cooked spinach can be . Everything in the omelette just played really well together. I really enjoyed my meal. The coffee was great, and they kept my cup full. A large portion, and a very reasonable price. I will be back. Thank you!

Sirloin steak and the chopped steak dinners

This was our first visit here - we liked the looks of the outside and inside was clean and spacious. We were craving steaks and had lots of questions for our server, Paulina, who was just a delight. We were surprised at the end of the meal to learn we were her first table as she was new. Her trainer, Sydney was also delightful. I ofdered hot tea - they had my favorite Earl Grey, and the served it with honey and lemon slices - just the way I like it. The Hubbs ordered the 12 oz sirloin and they accommodated all his special orders perfectly. I tried their chopped steak with onions and mushrooms with a side of brown gravy. Everything was very good. Overall, a good stop.

    California skillet

I'm a Southern Californian traveling back home, and I saw Adel's as I drove past and decided to stop by for some breakfast. I don't know what was better--the warm and attentive customer service, or the California skillet my server recommended. And true to form, this was one hot plate of food. Sizzling! Local diner, filled with locals enjoying their breakfast. Warm and cozy atmosphere. As good as it gets.

Country skillet with what was supposed to be very lightly over easy eggs. Swing and miss.

Nice family restaurant. Clean. Service was friendly and our breakfast was served quickly. The consensus on the food was that it was "alright". Mom had a country skillet, which she had requested to have very lightly over easy eggs (instead of typical scrambled) because she adores runny yolk, but they came very overcooked (dry yolks.) She was experiencing low glucose and needed to eat immediately so she didn't send it back but also didn't enjoy the eggs at all and thought the dish lacked flavor overall. My ribeye steak and eggs (chalkboard special) came with hash browns and toast and all was very good.

Pretty much remember this like it was over 10 years ago. Greasy and disappointing like most dining experiences in Eureka.

Our server was very pleasant and let us know the special of the day, a halibut dish with a creamy pepper sauce. Debating between that and another dish, we asked her recommendation and she suggested the fish. So we did it. My wife and I traditionally split meals at restaurants, because they generally give you so much food, you leave uncomfortably stuffed. We prefer leaving comfortably satisfied. So we split the Arugula Salad. They bring complementary bread with a garlic butter or basalmic and olive oil. We preferred the basalmic. The garlic butter wasn't very garlicky. But the salad was excellent. They split it for us for a small upcharge. The Halibut was excellent. We had to split it ourselves, but that was not a problem for us. It was served over couscous and was excellent. A bit small to split, so we added a cheesecake dessert with ganache. Very good. We paired it all with a Cabernet from the Oakville area of Napa (where we had just visited) and it was excellent as well. Our server was attentive. The pacing of our meal was very well done. Not too long between check-ins, but also not rushed. We recommend!

I found this restauraunt on Yelp and we reserved it for my birthday dinner on a Saturday night. We sat by the window and had a beautiful view of the sunset and bay. Upon being seated we were served some bread with some whipped butter mixed with some sort of seafood I believed? I forgot, but the butter was delicious. Our first round of bread however, was average at best and was very dense and doughy. The next rounds of bread were significantly better though, so maybe there's an inconsistency with the way they bake their bread in-house. I ordered the seafood penne pasta and my boyfriend ordered the king salmon with risotto. Both were "specials" and were not on the menu. However after digging into reviews here, it seems they are not so much specials since both dishes have been served here for the past 7ish years. Seafood penne pasta: I would rate a 3/5, maybe a 2.5/5. The pasta itself was not al dente which was disappointing. The "star" of this dish was supposed to be the scallop, which was severely undercooked! It was super soft and mushy. The shrimp was alright...some were overcooked. The salmon was also dry. I think the only thing I really enjoyed was the mussels, clams, and the sauce. The sauce had some curry with a small kick to it. This dish was just okay. Escargot: We ordered as our appetizer, I'd give it a 3.5/5! The escargot was a little soft but paired wonderfully with the bread. Creme brûlée: 3/5. Our waitress kindly put a birthday candle on it for my birthday. :) I enjoyed it, and it was very custardy! The downside was that the sugar on top was too burnt. I can't speak much for my boyfriend's dish, I did have a bite of his salmon and it was alright, maybe a bit too salty. The service however was wonderful and our waitress was super kind and helpful. Maybe I would come back to try another dish if I'm back in the area.

We arrived at 5:45 and our food order arrived at about 7pm. There was no warning our food order would be late until at least 20 minutes after we ordered. Then we were told the kitchen was a little behind, and about every 10 minutes after that we were told our food would arrive soon. When the food arrived my mash potatoes were cold at the center. When the waitress checked back with about whether we liked our food I told her it was good but my potatoes were cold. Of course the waitress apologized. The restaurant reduced the cost of my entree by 20%. Although the kitchen got behind I believe this was actually a failure of management. If the kitchen was understaffed they knew it and should have reduced the number of tables being served, or spaced out seating more customers until the kitchen caught up. I also noticed that as tables turned over newly seated customers were warned the kitchen was behind, but never told how far behind. I hope Gallagher's improves.

We were not disappointed. Jordan was our server and he took very good care of us. He was friendly and attentive. We all got the Captain's Platter. The servings were generous with enormous scallops and shrimp and beautiful big fish fillets. None of us could eat the whole meal so we took it home and air fried the next day. We considered this a good value because we actually got six meals for the price of three. We were served quickly and enjoyed the oldies played in the background.
