Our car has had a problem with an engine light warning for a few years and the location on Union Street reportedly didn't have the tool to help, so referred us to this location on State Street. I'm glad to be able to report that so far, the problem appears to have been resolved. We called for an appointment and later heard from staff that they're fairly strict with appointment times because they can get pretty busy. The retail space is massive but empty, and it must have been a great showroom at some point. We had the waiting area pretty much to ourselves while waiting for updates. In short, we had an overall positive experience and would recommend these guys. I had a flat tire this morning. Rick fit me in and got me a pair of quality tires that didn't break the bank! Seeing as I'm from Syracuse, I wasn't quite sure where to go for this problem, and he not only put the new tires on, but rotated the other tires to ensure the best driving. Okay so I went to get new tires today and I must say that my experience there was absolutely great. Popped in there 8 this morning because I had to be to work for 10 and they had me right in on time getting the work done that they said they were getting done which was the tires. I received a great deal on the tires as well all four tires on my vehicle and they were $157 a piece which is not that bad for a truck tire. I was doing the check-in while I was there on Yelp and a wonderful thing happen all of a sudden I received a 10% coupon for using the Yelp service and so I got an additional 10% off so I ended up getting like $60 off of my tires just for using Yelp so it does pay to use Yelp I'm telling you :-) they really know what they're doing there they had everything running smoothly they had me in and out in the exact time that they said it was going to take before I even walked in the door they told me it was going to be an hour and I was there for exactly an hour and they had me in the truck and out the door. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has any type of Tire need or service need for their vehicle I will definitely be using them in the future. The price was far less than I would've paid elsewhere, and was done in just a couple hours. I really felt like a priority. We have only dealt with Greg who despite his youth, has years of experience and is awesome. He's laid back takes his time answering any of your questions and thorough in all he does! First off let me say that I appreciated everything that was done that day what happen was on a Tuesday I had called for two special Nido tires for the front of my car they call me back within an hour so they could have them in two days I told them that I could make it by Saturday preferably in the morning when Saturday came around I had a little problem so I didn't get up to Albany tell around 11 o'clock at that time the store was locked up and that's being with the virus that's going around that was understandable when I got to the store I called the boss and he informed me that the mechanic had waited but had gone home he said give him a few minutes he would try to get a hold of him so within a few minutes he called me back said he got a hold of the mechanic and was going to come back to the store to get my tires when I got to the store he pulled in right behind me got my tires but the paperwork had been moved to another store so I followed the mechanic to the Niskayuna store 10 minutes away the manager gave me a better price on the tires then he had originally quoted me which I really appreciated but mainly I believe they went above and beyond what they had to do so thank you again I would recommend these people to anybody for all their help . read more

I laughed when I saw the review above mine. I bought 4 brand new tires a year ago and as I have always done, got road hazard protection. I had one tire repaired last summer and recently we had a blow out. My husband took the car in on a Wednesday. He was told to come back Friday morning because they were backed up with putting snow tires on (idiot Northeasterners panicking because there may be snow in the forecast). My husband was back Friday morning before the center even opened. When he came in and explained the situation, the guy behind the desk immediately wanted to charge him to repair the tire. It was explained that we had road hazard protection. The guy insisted that these tires don't come with road hazard protection. He tried looking up the car on the computer but only could come up with a 2006 model that I haven't owned for years. My husband dug out the invoice and brought it back in. Hmmm...says right there that the tires have road hazard protection. Then my husband was told that they wouldn't be able to do it and maybe they'd have time later in the afternoon. Nope. We'll have it repaired elsewhere and never, ever spend another penny at any Adirondack Tire Center. Maybe if Adirondack Tire spent a little more time training employees on how to look up information and a little less time trying to make a quick buck they'd have kept our business. read more
