In addition to some of the specifics mentioned in my previous review (see below), there have been several instances where Ankers could have just recommended the more expensive route to fix something, but chose to allow us to make an informed decision by trying alternatives or doing things incrementally so that it could be determined if a smaller fix would suffice. All this without sacrificing the integrity of the car, though. It is such a relief to know you are going to receive competent and honest work on one of the major financial investments you make: your vehicle. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Color me shocked when they showed me the Alignment report on why she had 2 rear tires going bald on the outside where even the steel belts were showing on one. Even hitting a pothole every day for 6 months couldn't have screwed up her alignment that bad. They have no idea what they are doing regarding alignment to the point they either don't even do it, or they have incompetent employees taking short cuts. I would recommend you not visit them for anything related to alignments or tires. Within 8 months you will probably have the same issue and be out another 1k+. Absolutely ridiculous to take advantage like that.

As they welded it together they used to much heat which damaged the honeycomb inside and pieces broke off inside which caused got clogging and could have caused a fire being the gas couldn't come out the muffler. I am a single mother of two children and our safety comes first and obviously they were only thinking about the money and not our safety. I also brought my car to two different mechanics that said the same thing. Thankfully they refunded me back the money yesterday 2/3/22 to be able to pay for my car to get fixed somewhere else.

Kenta Bond, the owner of this shop is a man of high integrity. He also is a master of customer service. I call him a dinosaur because, even though he is a rather young person, he provides "old time" customer service. His pricing is extremely competitive - better than many - and he truly cares about his customers. The other day he stayed late to make sure my car repair was complete. It was not a simple repair. The car needed an axle. The parts supply house was very late getting him the needed part so Mr. Bond actually got in his car and went to the supply house and picked up the part himself. That pushed the repair completion time back. However, Mr. Bond stayed about an hour past usual closing time to get the job done for me. He does high quality work and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Please help support this small local business. He needs the support far more than the big chain repair shops in the area and his price markups are far less than theirs!

I have had two repair jobs on my Jeep with John's Auto over the past year and I've been very pleased with their service. Recently I needed a fuel pump replaced that required lowering the fuel tank, an expensive and messy job with a rusted skid plate that needed replacement. The owner, John Belai, was very understanding, professional and helpful; he even followed up to make sure the job was to my satisfaction. Since I was a recent college graduate, I did my best to take care of my car at a reasonable price. He always gave me a nice value, with great service and I never had any issues. He did check my exhaust pipe once before for it broke, he said it should be OK. However, even after the initial inspection the pipe still fail. Frank repaired the exhaust pipe without any haggle. I'm sure he was just looking to save me a little money, if he thought it could hold together. Frank also gave my car a clean pass to drive from New York to Texas. Beside a few preexisting oil problems, the car held up fine. He is a great guy and an honest mechanic, if I still lived in Upstate New York I would still go there.
