I'm sharing this review to not only highlight Adna's skills as a mechanic, but to share his honesty and willingness to go the extra mile to help customers. Amazing dedication to serving clients and even though my wife and I reside in the North Bay, we will continue to make the trek to Adna's in Burlingame to have our cars serviced. I have a 2021 AMG C43, and came in to have it serviced. As he was doing the work, Adna let me know there was an oil leak and it would be expensive to fix, but will be covered by the warranty if I take it to a Mercedes dealership. Sure enough, I did as he suggested and it took the dealership a few days to fix the issue (they did a number of temperature dependent tests and had to move a lot of components to access the leak, so it took a long time). While he had the car opened up, he offered to top off my oil and keep things running as best as he could, given the underlying leak. I accepted and picked up my car later that afternoon. When it came time to pay, he said the work would be done without charge as the underlying issue was not able to be resolved. Put another way, Adna performed several hours of work and even though I came in for service, his diagnostics found a different issue and he did what he could to address my original service need - without charging me. Incredible, and it is exactly that sort of honesty and work ethic that will have my wife and I bring our Mercedes down to Adna indefinitely. Thanks so much Adna, we are lifetime customers! read more

It's hard to find knowledgeable mechanic/person with integrity to care for the cars (Ford Probe, Nissan Maxima, Acura TL, Toyota Camry) I've owned in the past. Previously, I used to go to mechanics that would upsell me services I didn't need at the time or didn't do a good job for various reasons on different parts of the car. Since then, I've been going to Adna when he first co-owned a shop to his current shop for my car needs, regular maintenance, and advices on car care. For example, Adna recommended that I try another gas station and type to maximize the mileage of my car after complaining how I had to fill up sooner than usual. After making the recommended changes, the overall mileage improved. More recently, he suggested that I increase the PSI of the tires by 2-3 which gave me a little better ride and improved fuel efficiency. Maybe I could've read more about the issues but just happened to have a conversation with Adna who quickly recommended that i try a couple of things first. The services I went in for since I found out about Adna: oil change/tires rotation and filter changes(air and cabin) were all Toyota OEM. Battery replacement. Diagnostic check. Fluid changes: coolant, brake, and transmission. Parts replacement like the rear view and side mirror on my Acura TL along with transmission replacement. Wheels alignment but he doesn't have that service any longer. I remembered he had a loaner car for his customers but that's was back in the days. Kind, honest and great service! I was in a pinch due to horrible luck on the highway with a mysterious metal object shredding my tire to pieces. I got a new quick tire at America's tires in Millbrae and they directed me here to make sure everything was working/running correctly. There was definitely a strange sound despite getting the new tire replaced. I came without an appointment and my car was checked out right away. After an evaluation, I was offered a couple of options on what to do. The body covering around the tire needed some tinkering vs. replacement. Further advice about future realignments etc was also given. My car is now running smoothly after their care (I spend almost 3 hours in it every day) and I feel so reassured about everything after the traumatizing week of bad car luck. Such a good experience. I'm saddened that I even have to write this as it looks like he is an integral part in our community, but that makes me want to shed light on this predator even more. Here's how Adna the owner of this shop sexually harassed me and made advances towards me. It was October 2020 and I stopped in to ask Adna about a sound my new Mercedes was making. I told him it only makes the sounds at certain times when I'm driving and that it's very hard to explain he would have to hear it happen or go with me on a test drive. He initially told me he couldn't do it right now to bring the car in at another time. No problem. I left and went shopping on the ave. About 15 min after leaving the shop I get a phone call from him asking to meet me not at his shop but down the road by bmw by in n out. If you know his shop you will know this is about a mile or so from his shop so it didn't sound weird to me and I trusted him because he was a family friend/ always polite and friendly. I figured he must be picking something up from bmw and that's why he wanted to meet me in the secluded place. So I pull up there and he gets in my car to start the test drive. After driving up and down the block a few times he's not hearing the sound and isn't paying attention anyways. He started to make comments about quarantine and most people gaining weight, I laughed and said oh not me I lost some. He then reaches over and grabs my tummy ( think of someone pinching your stomach with their thumb and pointer ) and says oh ya did you? That was when I started to feel extremely uncomfortable. I am a young woman very petite and alone with an older man on a secluded road. He then started to say that I looked like a model and I was looking so good and he really liked what I've done with my body ? When I went to pull over at his car and let him out he looked at me and asked to see my breasts. I told him that was so inappropriate and that he must have been going crazy because of quarantine. He had no remorse he even laughed and then explained to me why he had chose to meet me at this location instead of the shop. He said when I first initially pulled up At the shop asking for him To hear the sound he turned me away bc he didn't want the guys from his shop or the neighboring shop to see him taking a test drive with me because it would get back to his wife and the guys would talk because I was wearing a dress. After I declined his advances he looked down at his obvious erection and said to me " you're gonna make me go back to work like this " I said have a nice day Adna And he got out of my car. I'm humiliated, embarrassed all of the above and this man had the audacity to do that to a long time customer no remorse or apology. If he did this me he could have done it to anyone and lets not forget he works with many school aged children being it with the boys he coaches baseball or the girls that come in to earn Girl Scout medals also the college students at skyline. This man is a predator and he's walking around our community like a wolf in sheep's clothing. What if his next victim isn't lucky enough as I was to de escalate and escape the confrontation. Adna has repaired 2 Honda Accord my family owns, 2005 and 2015. It started with the older Accord when the engine was running rough. Adna replaced the plug cap. Then the door locks had issues. He replaced the necessary power locks. Then the '15 had starting issue (sometimes it started with first attempt, sometimes not with as many as 4 attempts). Adna diagnosed as starter. Replaced with OEM, $497, at his recommendation. He had bad experience with after market starters for Honda. Honda first delivered a part with cracked casing. Adna noticed it and re-ordered the part. He is careful to notice a small crack! This avoided having future problems and repeat repair. Highly recommend. read more

I purchased new tires from America's tire in Millbrae and they recommended me to go to Adna's auto for an alignment (I knew I needed one but was lazy) I finally made my appointment. Adna was so nice and educated me so much about tires and car stuff (including if you want to keep the tire warranty, you need to do the due diligence. I was looking through YELP reviews for Automotive service for my Merceds in April. There were some recommendations that were sent to me with good reviews, which I emailed them. In a matter of minutes I had a response back from Adna's Automotive. I was amazed how quickly he responded back to me. I called him immediately to set up a time to meet Adna prior to making an appointment. I had a list of things that I wanted done, including B Service. Adna is friendly, very experienced and knowledgeable mechanic. Adna took a look at my car and gave me an assessment of what he thought I would need done. I told him that I would bring my car in the following week but would need to rent a car. He told me no need to that I could use his cute Fiat for the day. He loans his Fiat to his customers if they need it. That helped me out so much. A week later I brought my car in. Adna told me that he would do a diagnostic check and see what my car needed and what it didn't need at that time. He called me later that morning and told me that my filter was still clean. He changed the oil and did my service B and saved me money on the oil filter. He will change the filter on the next oil service. Adna fixed some other things on my car and saved me even more money. He will not sell you on repairs if your car does not need it. I was amazed how honest and down to earth Adna is. He has good business ethics and it shows. Adna's expertise with my Mercedes was very impressive. His shop is really nice, clean and comfortable. There is coffee for his customers and a basket with "free lemons" from his tree to take. Soooooo I was told by Midas that I basically needed new bushings and swingarms . My cost would be 2500 dollars. My car is three years old and I have 36000 miles on it. I'm like here we go. I decided to get another opinion and a friend recommended Adnas he put it in the rack this morning and said everything looks good. Hummmm. The alignment was pretty good front end fine. Bring my car here for replacing battery today, and I am more than pleased. Adna is very professional and carefully check if it is simply because of battery aging so that I need to replace a battery. It took me only half an hour, and he even kindly pointed out that my compressor seems to have some problems. I brought my car to my dealer for couple times and have my car checked, but they never told me that my car has that issue. And in fact, I knew the compressor has some issues, but I just don't want to fix it for a while. The price is very reasonable, and the waiting area is also very nice.
