I had an appointment to get my car serviced and iDrive8 system looked at as it is constantly crashing, having issues and get the oil/filters changed. I called in and requested a loaner multiple times. I took PTO to drop the car off and when I got there, they forgot to add that I needed a loaner and did not have any available. Wasted my time/day. I reschedule and this time, worked with another service guy Steve Hooper and had a garbage experience. They took my car in and just sat on it for nearly 2 weeks and didn't work on my issues. I got tired of waiting as no work was being done and requested it back. Find a better service center. This dumpster fire isn't it. All that needed to be done was to update iDrive8. My maps version is from 2023. They just refuse to update any software at all and when asked, will just ignore your questions. My passenger side seatbelt was installed backwards from factory. The service center flipped it around but scratched the plastic. This service center will waste your time while just sitting on your car. Unsure how they benefit from this. read more

This review is for their parts department. I had a chance to work with Luis and Ivan over the phone and in person to get a grill that didn't come with the spec I had ordered. I called and went into another BMW and they couldn't seem to ring up the item. Luis simply showed me a simple button that showed me the precise part and number. His experience definitely shows. The one downside I'd hafta say is that this is a smaller shop so you might need to wait in line or call several times to get some help. It's just a shame that this place is so far from me! read more

I received several letters regarding a free recall repair so I took my car in to get it fixed. Mind you, it was working completely fine when I brought it in. A few days later they call me saying that the car is overheating and inoperable, requiring over $2k in necessary repairs. Not sure how they messed it up, but I refused to pay for an issue they caused and ended up towing it out. Not sure if this is their way of making money for those "free" repairs. read more

Oliver and his supervisor were extremely rude when I asked for a price match. Their so-called "price-match policy" is a joke--you have to go to another dealer, get a written quote, and then bring it back. Why would any customer return if the other dealer already offers a better price? They refused to honor the price match and insisted on charging about 30% more for exactly the same service. read more

Another great service experience here for me. My service advisor, Kenny Lew, is literally a huge reason why I keep buying BMW's. My family has been with him for the past 20 years now (before the move; back when service used to be at the dealer in San Mateo). The Burlingame facility is very nice with complimentary bottled water and coffee as well as free muffins! They also have free guest WIFI and a good amount of small tables if you need to setup your computer to do work. The location is also very convenient right off the 101 freeway. They have a very detailed process when they take in your car and even send you videos of them doing the inspection. Kenny always makes sure I know the process and the costs associated with the service. He also makes sure to keep me updated and make sure my car is in pristine condition when returned. I've had a bunch of bad luck when it comes to potholes and nails from all the storms in California and Oliver has been a Godsend in helping me get my car fixed and up and running. I recently found that I had a bolt jammed in my tire that was causing a leak (cue PTSD from almost a year ago when this happened... see my previous review) and I immediately called Oliver to see if my tires were still under warranty. I just had my car serviced here today due to a punctured tire. I was desperate to have it fixed and so I drove by to see if they can squeeze me in without an appointment. Been coming here for the past 8-12yrs, it's been satisfactory. I've worked with Isaac who now works for their San Mateo office, he was wonderful. Now I mainly work with Jordan which my husband and I have been very happy with. Sometimes I work with Wai Wong who is just as accommodating, great to work with and very professional. Wai helped me with today's service and was able to have my car fixed in few hours. Kudos to her! Thanks, Wai! I give her 5 stars. Today, however, I experienced a rather unprofessionalism by the welcoming desk particularly Nicole. She was so rude, so unprofessional and intentionally very rude towards me. When I dropped my car in the morning, she was available but she chose not to make eye contacts with me pretending to be busy. I just let it go and waited for the other person to help me. Both were quite unprofessional. No acknowledgement nor eye contact towards me. Finally one of them the young lady who was slim and much younger finally offered to help. Nicole on the other hand, couldn't be bothered resulting with such an unpleasant facial expressions. She must be a very unhappy person who makes sure everyone notices her mood swings. When I came back to pick my car in the afternoon, same rudeness, but this time even more rude. She never look at me even though she was not busy. She picked up the phone pretending to call someone while I stood there like an idiot waiting for someone to help me. Nicole wasn't even speaking with anyone on the phone and pretended to write something and stood up and left. I was right in front of her still waiting with no eye contact not even just a mere courtesy to say "Will be right with you" so I don't look like an idiot. No one was professional enough to acknowledge my presence so I waited a little longer. By now I was irritated and impatient where I finally made my presence known and said "Can you help me" without saying the word "please" since neither women were professional nor kind enough to acknowledge my presence. This incident is unacceptable and unprofessional. If you are busy, u can SPARE 2secs of your time to acknowledge someone's presence. Isn't that a common courtesy especially when one is waiting long enough and no one else is in line? Nicole is someone who doesn't fit a person behind a desk. No courtesy nor professionalism.
