Decided to come to Victoria BC via the Victoria Clipper to celebrate our anniversary. Saw this the last time we were here, but didn't have time. This time, we decided to go! We were picked up from the Clipper parking lot by Ron on Friday along with another couple from a different Harbour location. Then off we went! It was a nice pleasant drive out to the sight with our driver telling us the history of the city and how it currently is. Upon arrival, we were greeted and asked to sign the waiver, given a key to a locker to store our things and a phone lanyard so we don't drop our phones in the forest. Our guides were two ladies named Paige and Sorcha(sp?). They were amazing tour guides of the forest canopy and kept everything light for those of us who were nervous. 10 years old Maddock was extremely excited to go first everytime. Amazing views as we go flying through the trees. I would highly recommend this activity, even if you are a little uneasy with heights. But what really takes the cake is the customer service. Husband accidentally left his phone on the van when we were returned to Victoria. The staff figured out whom the phone belonged to and called me. They were able to drop it off at our hotel at the end of day. To go above and beyond is a lost art and we will always give props when due. Thank you so much for a great experience. read more

Purchased a zipline trip through a cruise line. Shuttle driver met us at the cruise port and I was impressed that they weighed everyone before they got on the bus. Only 1 person was turned away from boarding. We had about a 45 minute drive to the business where the ziplines were. Along the way, the bus driver pointed out things and attempted to make funny jokes about them. We arrived at the park and got split into 2 groups and they gave us equipment. I was surprised they not only allowed GoPro cameras but also had helmets with GoPro mounts on them. The ziplines were fun, so was the suspension bridge. It felt like our group may have been a little too big though as the smaller platforms in the trees were very crowded after everyone had gotten to them, along with the last guide. Our guides were also good, I don't recall their names but I believe they were a married couple. We got back on the bus and one couple from the other group that had finished before ours just reeked of cigarette smoke and made the whole bus smell. We had the same bus driver on the way back, and he told the same bad jokes and pointed out the same landmarks on the way back to the ship as on the trip to the park. We made it back to the ship about 5 minutes before the all aboard time and had to rush to find how to get back to the ship in the dark in time. read more

Today I zip lined with my 14 year old son and it was an incredible experience.  David, the shuttle driver, met us at the Clipper and was funny and kind the entire trip.  He was clearly very interested in making this a wonderful experience right from the start.   Next we got to the base camp (is that what you call it?), and we met our guides Michaela and Drake, they were professional, safety oriented and very eager to ensure we had a good time.   I know it must get old telling tourists the same things (including jokes) but they made it seem as though they were very excited to lead our tour, and meet us.   This was by far one the BEST excursions I've ever done, so worth the time and money. *FYI: I bought the package for this trip through the Victoria Clipper, coming into Victoria from Seattle. read more

A perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon. We were staying in Victoria, and it was an easy 40 minute drive to Adrena. The drive was gorgeous, so it went fast. Keep your eyes out for the signs, they come up fast. The office staff makes things easy the second you step inside. Then they hand you over to your guild, and it's a high speed ride from there. The guilds get you suited up and take you on a short zip line,outside the office, so they can explain how things work and check to see if you will freak. Then they load you in a 4X4 truck called "The Mod" and take you up the hill. The truck ride was a lot of fun. You get to ride 7 zip lines. They vary from long and slow to 40 MPH flashes. Bring a camera because you will want to take a lot of pictures. We loved it. read more

I am no zip novice. I've "zipped" in Costa Rica over a flowing river and here in Austin over a dead lake. And while I have, I think, a healthy fear of heights, I'm usually more excited and thrilled to zip than wettin my shorts. For some reason, this tour terrified me. It wasn't the guides. They were very knowledgeable and safe and reassuring (somewhat) and they were hilarious, showing off their own zip moves, like the upside down or the Captain Morgan. At one point, one exclaimed to my niece just as she was stepping off the platform "Oh, wait.....!" as if he wasn't done hooking her up properly. Yeah, funny, dude. It wasn't the views, which were great if a bit blurry as you speed thru the forest. Supposedly, you could spot the Yeti on one run. I shoulda wore my glasses I guess. Nope, I finally figured out it was the "platforms". All the other zips I've done had solid wood platforms at the tops of hills. This one had tiny rings of wood surrounding the top of a swaying tree with a "fence" that on my tall ass was about hip level. I became very intimate with those trees :) I became a true tree hugger and ended the tour covered in resin but in one piece. Oh, and they also have a suspension bridge that was the scariest thing to me. After a few zips, I was a little shaky anyway, and then trying to walk across that shaky bridge, well, when they told me to scream my head off on the next zip to scare all those folks behind me still crossing the bridge, it was not a problem. After the third zip or so, my nerves settled and even I tried the upside down maneuver. It was definitely an exciting trip and beautiful. On a clear day you can see the Washington mountains from one of the tree platforms (yes we ere that high!). And as the guide said, the hardest part of the whole tour is walking PAST the neighboring pub. It was definitely hard to do on the way back with the adrenaline pumping! read more

If you're an "adrenaline" junkie, the zip-line tours are a great way to get your blood rushing! I am extremely terrified of heights, but did this once in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and was determined to do it again. In Mexico, we had a breaking system that was much like a bicycle hand bar that needed to be twisted. At Adrena LINE, the instructors take care of all the breaking so you are able to enjoy the view, scenery, and environment without any stress. Jimbo and Kelsey were our guides, and they were friendly, hysterical, and lots of fun! The first zip-line is a baby one, just to get you used to the whole feeling of going down the line. After that, we took these awesome off-road vehicles very appropriately named Jack and Jill, as they drove us up the huge hill / mountain thing. There are a total of 8 zip lines ranging from 200ft to 1000ft in length, all with breathtaking views and at exciting speeds. On one of the zips, they have you do a 720, which is where you try to rotate yourself two full revolutions. It's hilarious to see everyone flailing their arms and legs around trying to do the 720. A cow bell is heard as a sign of accomplishing the feat! On one of the lines, Jimbo broke too early which resulted in me dangling on the line really high up in the air for a good few minutes--that was a LITTLE scary. Nevertheless, I would do this again in a heartbeat! read more

.. This was so fun aha. Hilarious, rocky ride up to 7 ziplines varying in speeds, height and length. Decent price because, let's face it, $88 to not die while being hurdled between trees 50 feet in the air is worth it, and a lot cheaper than high tourist areas like Grouse and Whistler. Awesome as a group activity. I went with strangers from my Bed and Breakfast as well as my boyfriend and his coworker and his girlfriend. The experience bonded us, a random group of early 20s to 50 year olds ranging from the gung-ho to the 'hugging the tree between each zipline'. But all of that you can read in other reviews. What actually stands out to me was the staff. The place is so.. HAPPY. You walk in expecting it to be a dingy, utilitarian space and are greeted by a sunny trip planner and an equally sunny, clean place with multiple bathrooms. Staff not dealing with you directly are outgoing, engaging everyone in conversation and cracking jokes without once coming across unprofessional. Our guides (Dylan and Kyle) were HILARIOUS, clearly having a blast, supported those in my group who were nervous and recognised us when we came back to get souvenirs. Dylan recited dramatic poetry and cracked dry jokes about how UNDRY we were (pouring rain did not dampen this experience, by the way. and that's coming from a female with curly hair) while Kyle's laugh was infectious and had all of us laughing in response to their one-liners and inside jokes. As we left for our adventure, a group of 11 year old girls were coming in from theirs looking like they had the time of their life, and our guides took on an entirely different Disney personality with them. They really know their audience. I got the impression these guys loved their job and truly wanted everyone to have a good time. I wish I could have tipped those two more. Awesome guides, fun courses and great establishment. I think it's a must-do. read more

We had so much fun here! We did this as an excursion from our Alaskan cruise. This was our last stop and it was such a great last excursion to do! We went on the cruise for our honeymoon because we are both very out doorsy and had looked up reviews for zip lining and this one had the best reviews and it hit every expectation. The staff is SO friendly and nice we had Madeline and I don't remember the guy's name, but they were both so friendly and nice and made us feel safe and showed us tricks to going down the zip line if we wanted something a little more adventuresome. The zip lines themselves were really awesome! Definitely felt like we got our money's worth! I would definitely go again :) read more

One of the coolest things I've ever done... In spite of the fact that my family was taking bets on whether I'd actually go through with this experience, I completed the training course and the actual 7-line experience. After two hours of ziplining, I got to the bottom of the course and I was ready to go back up. My only complaint was "it was too darn short..." I could've spent all day there. I'm not a fan of heights, but this is really an experience not to be missed by other neurotic adventurers like me. It was such a beautiful way to see Canada's nature first hand (and from the tree tops.) The staff is incredible because they walk you through the experience from getting your gear on to helping you learn how to zip line. Our guides were terrific -- I can't say enough about how great they were. Net net - I'd do this again in a heart beat. I'd love to try the night tour, too! read more

This was the best! We booked it on a whim and it was amazing. Our guides were Stephanie and Megan and they were fun, helpful and informative. After you get suited up they take you out on a short, 100 foot, demo line. That shakes out any of the novice butterflies and you're ready to roll. You load up in The Mog -- an ATV, German troop transport from WWII and head up the hill. The area is heavily pine forested and you start the course about 300 feet up. Then you start heading down on the lines. It was really fun and well worth the $80! The experience of flying through the forest in perfect weather was transformative. This is a must-do. read more

I was new to ziplining when I went on this one. The instructors were professional and knew what they were doing and the course seemed very safe. The lines were high and the views were excellent. The course is hands off, so the instructors took care of everything from attaching ropes to stopping you at the end. You start at a small training line where the instructors give you a run down of how to zipline. After a quick intro, they send you down the training line and then into a car. Then you take a bumpy ride up the hill that you'll be ziplining down. The car looks a little bit like one from Jurassic Park. After you get to the top, you get onto your first platform. The first instructor will go ahead and zipline to the next platform. From there, he'll set up the platform. After receiving radio confirmation, the first customer will go down the line until everyone has gone through. Finally, the second instructor will come to the next platform. The entire system is set up well and the instructors were funny. I'd recommend it to anyone who has never ziplined before. read more

I was absolutely terrified to do the zip line tour today. Was super anxious since I'm scared of heights, but ultimately I went, and figured I'd do the training run and see how I felt. Without a doubt I (and the other 4 people I was with) had the best time. The people at Adrena Line made the biggest difference. They immediately made me feel comfortable, supported, and talked about how many times they'd all done the course and how much fun it was. I never felt pressured to do it, but I could tell from the moment I got on the training run that everything felt super safe and secure, and I was not only able to relax and get rid of all my anxiety, but have fun! By the end I not only was doing the noodle, but the Superman and Spider-Man as well, and decided going upside down was my new favorite thing. Kass and Kailee were our guides and were extremely fun to talk to, and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. Really wish I could give a better review for a company that offers a fun attraction, but this just didn't work out at all. What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon with family than swinging through the trees of a beautiful rain forest? My two cousins, one of their girlfriends, my aunt and I made the trek out to Adrena Line Zip lining for my husbands' birthday. My aunt and cousins had never been before despite living on the Island for over 20 years and really had no idea what they were up for. I had been zip lining in South Africa before so had an idea what I was getting myself into. We arrived early, which is recommended, and met our guides who suited us up and gave us a quick lesson on the practice line. The practice line is barely 20 feet off the ground and gives you just enough confidence to take the bumpy road up to the 7 REAL lines. The lines get longer and higher as you go along the course with the longest one taking over 30 seconds in a "cannonball" position as you glide over 1000 feet from tree to tree! My aunt took a bit to get into it as she realized she was afraid of heights after the first line. It wasn't the line so much that was scaring her, but the swaying of the platforms while we were high in the trees. She soon got over it though as the adrenaline kicked in just in time before the longest and highest lines. The tour went too quickly but was tons of fun! We laughed at each other as we each tried to find ways to go faster and as a few of us had less than graceful landings on the other side. Overall, it was a great experience and an "easy" tour compared to some other Zipline tours out there. You just hang on for this one where as other tours you have to learn to break yourself! I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a little adrenaline rush! read more

I'm not afraid of heights and those who know me, know I tend to be courageous. I was terrified on this zip tour! Ok. I'm not thin. I barely made their max weight limit. Me and the safety harness were not pretty together. They even had to get me a bigger harness because I have hips. As awkward as it was for me, they never batted an eyelash. And when I got winded after the little hike they have for us, they just kept encouraging me to go on. At the first little zip line, I go across and think, "no big deal, I got this!" Then you go up in their atv to the bigger ones. You start with "Commitment" which is called that because once you decide to go on that one, you're committed till the end. And what they don't tell you is that it gets terrifying! You zip from tree top canopy to tree top canopy. Your platform is in a tree, suspended only thanks to friction. The trees sway and it's nerve-wrecking. I became a tree hugger. Towards the end of the tour is a zip line that's a kilometer long! The only reason why I got across it was because they said after that one, it was shorter (but faster!!). Our random little group encouraged and clapped for each other. You bond quickly when you realize you need each other for encouragement and you're doing scary stuff. I might go back once I forget how terrified I was. It was a lot of fun! read more

Hands down one of the best adventures I've been on. I booked online and had some difficulties getting confirmation. I had an email confirmation stating the shuttle would pick my husband and I up at 9:40. Well at 9:25 we started to walk to the pick up location and saw the bus drive away. Called Adrena Line and after a few minutes we got it straightened out and we were put on the afternoon trip. From the moment you arrive at Adrena Line you can't help but get excited. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. We had about 10 people in our group and the entire experience lasted about 2 hours. You go on 8 different zip lines. The first is a trainer line and than you ride an ATV up to the top. Our guides, Randy & Adam, were awesome. They kept us laughing the entire time. One word to describe? "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" read more

My nephew and I did this and had a blast. We did not have a car while in Victoria so we chose the option to play an extra $10 to get transportation from the Victoria Clipper to the Sooke location and back. We made a great move. The ride to/from was a nice one and we enjoyed interacting with the rest of those in the car and paying $10 was much less than if we had to drive out there on our own. BY A LOT! Once at the location we were briefed on all safety matters and were fitted for our gear. Our guides Chris and Dag (Dags?) helped us out every step of the way. They were professional in all they did and made sure our safety was assured every second we were out there. We went on a nice, warm, sunny day and enjoyed perfect weather. Some lines were short but some were really long and allowed for some fun. They have a run where a picture is taken of you doing the run but for most the picture did not come out well enough o buy it. Feel free to bring your phone and take pictures or a video of the run. I would bring some water with you when you do this. They provided some but only on 1 of the runs and I really could have used some earlier on. Only a minor gripe and minor at that. If you don't bring water with you on the run you will be fine - maybe leave some back at base camp for when you are done. I can't say enough good things about this experience. If you are like me - and love Ziplining - you will enjoy this place and have a fun time doing it. read more

Go - You'll love it! My brother & 7-yr old child went and LOVED it! I spent time looking up places while planning my trip and found that this is the only place in Victoria-area that would allow my child to go based on weight and it would have to be in tandem. When we arrived, they were very friendly and attentive and helped my daughter with everything for suiting up and even had GoPro camera attachments for the helmets and I didn't have to worry a thing about that. They assigned Mada (Madeline) to my daughter and Mada told me that my daughter would be going with her the whole trip. I was able to watch the first run (trial run), with a helmet on, take pictures and then go back to wait for the duration of their adventure. When my brother and daughter arrived after the tour was over both were ear-to-ear smiles! They all said my daughter did amazing and that she was great, my daughter said Mada was super nice and fun! She didn't care for being tethered to the platforms of each run, but safety is safety and a small price for her to pay to have the adventure she had! People waiting in the building for the next tour saw her in there and couldn't believe that she had done this tour and were all about telling her how amazing it was and how "cool" she must be. She's has been writing notes about how much she loved zip lining and talking about it non-stop, so I know she had a good time! read more

What fun! I did this a year or so ago and have been itching to go back again. I am absolutely terrified of heights, but thankfully they have a "bunny hill" if you will, a trainer zipline that is shorter and not as far off the ground so you can get used to it. I was shaking the entire time and probably would have backed out it if wasn't for my friends. After this it's up to the top of the forest in a fun ATV ride. Still a little shaky after the first zipline, by the end I was flying through the forest without a hint of apprehension. It was FUN! Eight ziplines and two or so hours later, I didn't want it to be over. The guides were absolutely wonderful and definitely made the tour more fun. The views were wonderful as I was zipping through the forest canopy. I am itching to zipline here again since it's just a short ferry ride away! read more

Can I leave a (-) star. Horrible customer service. Took our money without ever actually being able to zip line. Refused a refund or a credit to use later. If a company is willing to take money without providing any services and ignore requests for a remedy, I question the over all ethics of the business. If I'm gonna put myself in a potentially dangerous situation, I want to at least know the guys strapping me in are ethical. read more
