I wanted to lighten up my dark brown locks just a shade or two and was adamant that I didn't just want chunks of blonde highlights running through. Chrissy was a thoughtful stylist and took into account what I was asking for. She advised on the color of the highlights and brought out a book so we could choose the toner together. She told me that all the information for each client is stored in their computer system so that in the event you love your hair and you say, "same as last time" - they can mimic it perfectly (or vice versa, if it doesn't suit - you can tell them and they can make changes based on what colors you used last time). I spent over two hours in Chrissy's chair and she had the perfect interpersonal style. Not too chatty, not too quiet. Perfect level of customer interaction. They run a 20% new client discount, so after that, I was charged $138 for all service. I love the color, she didn't take too much off during the trim and I got a great blow-out to boot. The salon itself is bright, clean and well maintained. The owner, Joe, was right there alongside his staff...sweeping floors, taking clients...that's a nice thing to see! When I walked into the salon I thought it was beautiful! It looked like a gutted factory, renovated into a retro new salon. I was greeted immediately and didn't have to wait any time at all for my hair dresser to take me. I explained to my hair dresser how I wanted my hair; super blonde with super pink streaks that were hidden beneath my blonde hair as to only be shown when I choose. I work in a hospital. I wanted pink in my hair without being a freak-show. My hair dresser totally understood what I had meant and colored my hair even better than I had been imagining it in my head! When it came time for the cut I became slightly apprehensive. I had never been to this salon before, I had long hair that I didn't want to get rid of, and I'm not awesome at communicating the style in which I want my hair cut. I explained to my hairdresser that I wanted my hair layered, cut into for texture, and cut enough to be healthy but don't take off any length. I don't even know how this would be possible. My hairdresser understood and my hair looks AWESOME! I can't wait to return to bizarre and have my hair cut and colored again. I am highly impressed by the staff at the salon. Best of all, I felt that for the amount of work I was having done, the prices were unbeatable. I had an all over blonde, hot pink foils, and cut. This salon comes highly recommended by me.
