They take the Corona Virus VERY seriously. You wait in your car until they can sanitize in-between clients. I saw a woman come out and sanitize the outside door handle. A few minutes later a person came out and said I can come in. I walked in and she asked that I wash my hands in the ladies room - done. Then I walked in and she did a temperature check on me. Then she asked me a few health questions and then I was all set to get my hair done. I have NO problem with going through those steps. This is my first time getting my hair done since this pandemic started. I was wearing a neck gator and they gave me a regular mask so she could do my hair and I could still wear a mask. This was my first time in this salon, it was very clean and neat. Kim did a great job on coloring my hair and a great blow dry! I don't recall your stylist ever offering a solution of a professional product to address the brassiness of my hair, and I never said that I had a product at home for it. She offered a $360 solution to my hair thinning issue and I did find a very good solution - Humby hair products and a hair, skin and nail vitamin, that are working fine at a much lower cost. I have a new salon, no brassiness, and a great cut. My hair looks 100% better. Problem solved. read more

Just went in for the first time! The salon is beautiful with an awesome sitting area with coffee, tea, and infused water right by a cozy fireplace. Kim did a balayage and cut for me and i honestly couldn't be happier with how it came out! Although this place has its aesthetic on point, the prices are high and I was not happy with my results. I went in 2-3 times asking for one specific thing (for highlights) and came out looking the exact same(no highlights were visible). I have natural dirty brown hair with lighter ends and every one told me they couldn't even tell i went!! i spent over 200$ to be blonde; and I honestly could have done better with a box color and that says a lot. I honestly hate to leave a review that isn't the best because I've been here numerous times and always left very happy but I had an experience the other night that turned awful. I came in for a balayage with Kim to lighten my hair and I left with the most damaged hair I've ever had in my life. I still spent the nearly $250 for it and even tipped her well because I for whatever reason didn't have it in my heart to express my sadness with how the quality of my hair turned out. It wasn't the lightening that damaged my hair so much. To do the balayage she teased the top portion of my hair which was healthy and then lightened the remainder. I have pretty fine hair that needs to be treated delicately and after the wash when it came time to comb my hair out she had a very difficult time in doing that because it had been teased. Rather than brushing from the ends she was vigorously, and I mean vigorously, brushing large amounts of my tangled hair from the root to the end with a flat brush. It did not feel good, it was painful and I could see all the hair that she was pulling out and the pieces that were breaking off because of it. I was embarrassed sitting there while she was doing it next to another hairstylist and her client. I believe she was late for her next appointment which is why she was being so rough and I understand it's not a good feeling to run late on a client but I was the current client getting my hair ripped out and destroyed. I've never had that technique done on my hair to lighten it and I had a feeling things were going to turn sour when it came time to brushing it out. I lost so much of my hair and all of it has damage, from the roots to the ends. I honestly feel so sad that my hair was treated that way by a professional. I can't understand why that technique would be used on such fine hair, I've had my hair lightened so many times in my life, there are other ways to do it. I just wanted to express my complete disappointment. Now I have the long journey of getting my hair healthy again and free from breakage that I spent so very long trying to grow out and keep healthy. read more

Super cute salon! I had initially thought I had scheduled my appointment online and realized later I had not confirmed (missed a step). I called the salon and the receptionist was very kind and helpful. She was even able to get me in the same day I had wanted. After having a terrible experience at another salon I was a little nervous to get my hair done. However, a coworker of mine (with beautiful hair) had recommended the salon so I thought I'd give it a chance. I drove all the way from Beacon Hill...and was not disappointed. The salon itself is very cute and everyone was friendly. I had an appointment with Ashlee for a half foil, cut, and blow out. Needless to say, she did a fantastic job. She was honest about the previous damage to my hair and still found a way to give me what I wanted but not damage it further. Thank you so much, Ashlee. I love it! read more

I rarely stick to one salon since I don't get my hair done that often, but I needed a haircut before my wedding and drove by Eden. After seeing some pictures online I decided to give it a shot. I emailed for an appointment, was contacted on the same day by the owner Allie and even received a text confirmation day of. This salon did not disappoint. It's gorgeous inside - really relaxing, welcoming, clean, stylish - also plenty of parking. Allie was so so nice and did an amazing job. Before reading this, I would like everyone to understand that this is not a malicious post. I'm taking the time to write this review in hopes that I prevent what happened to me from happening to other women. A friend of mine had recommended Bridget, a stylist she had only seen once, but insisted she did a great job. My first appointment with Bridget, my hair was down to my last rib, so pretty long. I asked her to trim and inch off and do some highlights and lowlights. My hair was a healthy, dirty blonde at the time, not jet black, so it was a reasonable request. I showed her pictures of exactly what I wanted and she said she could do it no problem. When I left the salon, my hair was to my collar bone, and so thin you could see through it. No low lights were put in my hair, only some type on painted on bleach that caused my hair to smoke. Only when I asked Bridget to rinse it out because it was smoking, did she do so. She blamed chemically burning 6 inches of my hair off on the "water I wash my hair with." I have had black, blonde, purple, blue hair. This has NEVER happened before. So water clearly was not the issue. I paid over $200 for this girl to completely destroy my hair, just for her to tell me I can come back so we can "finish" Finish what?! There was NO WAY my hair could handle any more chemicals. Now it felt like hay. I was terrified to even touch it because pieces were just breaking off. I'm sure all women can relate, hair is a HUGE part of your appearance as well as confidence, and being told that the result was YOUR fault, when you just paid hundreds of dollars is OUTRAGEOUS. I did not schedule to come back, obviously. After crying for days, I spoke with the owner who also insisted it was caused by "harsh water" I asked her why the stylist, regardless of the water, didn't put low lights in my hair when that's what I asked for and what we agreed on. She didn't have an answer for that, only recommended that I come back to the salon and get repairing treatments done. She did not offer any of these treatments for free. So her solution was having me come back and spend more money. I wish it ended there, but a few weeks later the girl who referred me to Bridget in the first place had the same experience as I did. Her hair is also now destroyed. It will take months for her, and YEARS for me, to get our hair back to the condition it was before Bridget touched it. And the salon took zero responsibility. I have seen other stylists to fix her bad work and no one can seem to understand how she messed it up THIS bad. Theres no reasonable explanation I can come up with to justify why she would do what she did to mine and my friends hair. HAIR IS A WOMENS CROWN. EDEN SALON shows zero respect for that. Years of time, money, and good care that I put into my hair was wasted in about a half hour. read more
