This wasn't my first breast surgery, so choosing the right surgeon for my revision was something I took very seriously. I had older implants, capsular contracture, and needed scar tissue removed, along with replacing my implants and having a breast lift. Dr. Bresnick took the time to explain everything to me, answer my questions, and make sure I understood what could realistically be achieved. I never felt rushed or pressured. For my surgery, I chose 500cc Motiva Ergonomix implants with a circumareolar lift, and I'm truly so happy with how everything is healing and coming together. My breasts already look softer, more balanced and much more natural than they did before. I'm still early in my recovery, so I know my results will continue to settle and change, but even at this stage I feel very confident that I made the right decision. Dr. Bresnick and his team have also been very attentive throughout my recovery. Whenever I've had questions or concerns, I've felt comfortable reaching out and have always felt cared for. Breast revision surgery can feel overwhelming, especially when you're trying to correct issues from a previous augmentation. I really appreciated Dr. Bresnick's honesty, experience and attention to detail throughout the entire process. I'm very thankful I trusted him with my surgery and would absolutely recommend his practice to anyone considering breast augmentation or revision surgery.

Many surgeons I consulted with refused to take on the work because of how complex the situation was. Dr. Bresnick did the exact opposite. He took the time to listen, evaluate everything carefully, and was willing to help me. What really stood out to me is how kind, patient, and caring he is. He was honest from the beginning that this wouldn't be a simple "one procedure and done" situation. Instead, it will require multiple procedures to correct everything and get me to a place where I feel confident and happy with the results again. I truly appreciate his transparency and the fact that he's willing to work with me step by step to get the best possible outcome. It's rare to find a surgeon who is both highly skilled and genuinely compassionate. If you are looking for a doctor who will actually listen and work with you, I highly recommend Dr. Bresnick.

Half the rating for half the job done…read more Review I really wish I could give Dr Hyman a better review but unfortunately I believe he got half the job done. Not worth the 18-20k. I'm a revision patient that depends on my breathing for work. After my one and only follow up (besides the cast off), I was told to wait until the 2 year mark for final results and concerns. (Which I was not once followed up with throughout the years.) Dr. Hyman fixed the bad breathing in my left nostril but now my right nostril has this issue, which was not present before. I have some abnormalities and unusual swelling in the right side also, that looks lumpy. I don't know why and what's going on and I'm concerned. Hence I reached out in an effort to receive the aftercare that I thought I already paid thousands of dollars for, but was told I had to pay a consultation fee of $300 since it was past the two year mark. (Which I was told to wait for.) Such a bummer, I really thought this was it. So here are the pros: - Will improve your nose. - Can get your nose close to the desired goal. - Tina is wonderful. Cons: - Will not treat you as his patient if it's past 2 years. (Which is important for revisions since it's a longer healing process.) - Not worth the large amount of money. - Results don't last.

Immediately after the surgery, my columella deviates towards one side significantly. This is due to the fact that he did not anchor the septal extension graft directly in the midline. It was anchored to the left of my anterior nasal spine instead. I woke up the following day after surgery and notified his nurse and him of this septal extension graft deviation issue. Both of them chose to ignore. As a result, the septal extension graft blocks my smile, affects my speech and it is extremely uncomfortable. Prior to my surgery, I discussed with him a surgery technique developed by his mentor, Dr. Toriumi. This technique is the only correct method for fixing my nose. But he was not forthcoming. He only told me after the surgery that he does not know how to use this technique on his patients. He has very very bad suturing skills. He did not close my wound with proper alinement and with adequate eversion of the skin. You can see the terrible step-off the skin and the notch in the columella. After the surgery, my nose bled for 3 weeks because of poor wound closure. He put me on 2 weeks of extra antibiotics. He is rude and swears with foul language on the phone and in his office on various occasions. Months later, he looked at my post-op photos but flat out denied the issues existed. That was very scary. Such obvious issues are confirmed by other doctors. He banked unused rib above the muscles in my chest. This resulted a huge bump in my chest. He kept me wondering about why my chest was deformed for over 2 months before informing me of this. He refused to provide me with surgical photos by telling me that he never takes photos of patients' noses during surgeries. He only sent me photos of before surgery and after surgery. But obviously, all photos were automatically named with sequential numbers by his camera. It is obviously there were lots of photos in between such numbers taken during surgery which he did not want to disclose. A year later, when I requesting a partial refund, he gave me the runaround. He demanded me to fly to Los Angeles for the refund. Later he stopped answering my email. The bottom line: he learned or inherited the rude bedside manners, dishonesty, and unethical behaviors probably from his parents. This man is not mentally stable and is a jerk. When I pointed out what was obviously not right when we were looking at my post-surgical photos together in his office, he flat out denied the issues by say:" there is no problem there, you have a great nose." Another doctor who recently revised my nose took this photo of the inside of my nose. He told me that Dr. Hyman added unnecessary grafts on the sides of my septum, especially with this big one on the left side. He said with such unnecessary grafts, Dr. Hyman still failed to keep the columella in the midline, because the septal extension graft was anchored over 4 millimeters away from the center point where it should have been (where anterior nasal spine is). Beware of him.

Dr. Namazie was kind and…read moreprofessional, and we appreciated the time he spent evaluating her and discussing potential surgical options. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by the billing experience. During the consultation, Dr. Namazie examined the inside of my daughter's nose. I later received a bill for a separately billed nasal endoscopy, which I had no idea was being performed during the consultation. The paperwork I signed stated that there could be an additional charge if a nasal endoscopy was performed. However, I did not understand that the routine examination taking place during the consultation would be considered a separately billable procedure. At no point during the visit was it explained that a separate procedure was about to be performed or that it would result in an additional charge. I've taken my daughter to several other rhinoplasty consultations with surgeons in Los Angeles and have never been charged either a consultation fee or a separate procedural fee for the examination. Because of those prior experiences, I reasonably assumed that examining the inside and outside of her nose was simply part of the consultation. I contacted the office afterward to explain the misunderstanding, but I was told that because I had signed the consent form, I was responsible for the charge. While I understand their position, I wish there had been clearer communication before the procedure was performed so I could have made an informed decision. I was also hoping to see before-and-after photos of the surgeon's rhinoplasty patients, as every other consultation we attended included them. None were shown during our visit, which made it more difficult to evaluate whether this was the right surgeon for my daughter. I'm sharing this experience so other patients know to ask whether any examination performed during a consultation will be billed as a separate procedure and whether there will be any additional out-of-pocket costs before consenting.

Dr. Malamet and his lovely (NOT) assistant are both, unethical and unprofessional. I had upper eyelid surgery and liposuction done. He performed my upper eyelid surgery in his office, in a very uncomfortable chair. He didn't have a medical HEADLIGHT in his office so he had his assistant hold an iPhone with the flashlight on. He cut and stitched my upper eyelids relying on an iPhone flashlight. As for my liposuction of thighs, he ended up taking half of one of my butt chicks. I am serious! I am not making this up! When I complained, he offered to give me a butt implant, (well, half a butt implant:) My answer? Hell NO! Never again will I let Dr. Malamet touch my face or body. What I regret is that I didn't report his conduct or filed a complaint against him. One of the reviewers said that "Plastic surgery is an elective surgery and the results may not be the same for everybody and that Dr. Malamet is a double board certified surgeon" I agree, but for a double board certified surgeon not to have a basic tool to perform a surgery is a NO NO. Specially an eyelid surgery. The conclusion? I have uneven scars on my upper eyelids and half of my left butt chick is missing. Oh, and I had to pay to have these done to me:) If I could, I would take you to court but unfortunately, it's too late for me. I am hoping my review will help others make a better choice and not choose you. Dr. Malamet, STOP.

Run! And I mean run TO Dr. Cohen as soon as you can. I purposely waited a year to write this review…read morebecause I can now testify that for a whole year since I had my facelift done, Dr. Cohen and his staff have been nothing but attentive to my needs. A lot of times you have great care givers, however this office raises the bar with wonderful comfort givers as well. This particular surgery is a marathon and not a sprint and I feel immense gratitude for the care before, during, and after the procedure. I had never had any cosmetic surgery and to say I was a bit trepidatious is an understatement. I mean, it's my face! I did extensive homework to find a board certified doctor by initially looking at The Aesthetic Society website. Also, I read some medical journals about facelifts (focusing on high SMAS) which gave me a good launch point before my first visit. And finally, I do admit I was hoping to find a Beverly Hills doctor NOT in Beverly Hills. When I went to see Dr. Cohen for a consultation, he repeated most of what I had researched and patiently answered all my questions and clarified any concerns which brought great comfort. This doctor is so amazingly knowledgeable and his passion for constantly learning and vetting new techniques spoke volumes to me. With all this talent, all the credentials, and the medical expertise to back it up, you would maybe expect to find this doctor a bit intimidating but nothing could be further from the truth. He is so genuinely personable. Dr. Cohen could be my new next door neighbor and I would happily throw the welcome party. This doctor truly listens to his patients. I told him I was interested in a re-fresh and not a re-do. I know he is very capable of the latter and there is nothing wrong with that choice if that is what a patient prefers but the former is more who I am. And he delivered. His in-office OR is impeccable and very convenient. Not having to go to a hospital was a big thumbs up for me. His anesthesiologist walks on water as far as I'm concerned. I was more worried about that part than the actual surgery due to past trauma with severe post surgery nausea. He told me I would wake up feeling like I had a nice long wonderful nap and I did. No issues whatsoever. Healing from a full facelift takes time and requires full patient participation. The doctor and his staff were so checked in making sure I was doing well and being there for whatever I needed. Instructions were very well explained before surgery. I had periodic follow-up visits which I really enjoyed partly due to the team atmosphere of the office. Dr. Cohen, Jill, Jaime, Natalie, Lorrie, Alex (and I know I'm missing a couple of other fabulous members), I can't thank all of you enough. They really helped give me a boost during those first few weeks and again highlights the comfort and care giver aspects I mentioned earlier. The post surgery care of being able to take advantage of the in-office spa which includes the miracle CO2 laser was a treat. I had it done during surgery and again a few months later. Highly recommend for a smooth texture especially if you have more mature skin. And I would highly recommend seeing Alex for post surgery lymphatic massage therapy. Dr. Cohen found a gem in her and she helped me so much to keep my swelling down, keep tissue loose, and keep bruising to a minimum. I know my healing time was much shorter because of her. Again, another team member whose superpower is comfort as well as care. The office has many more post care options to tailor to one's needs and I really appreciate how they can customize them to each patient. If anyone is on the fence about cosmetic surgery, I hope this review helps assuage any doubts. It is a big deal and should be thoughtfully considered. If you're an information digger like me, my goal was to do the research for you, save you time, and recommend you make an appointment with Dr. Cohen ASAP. He promises to work golf around all his patients!

Dr. Cohen exceeded every expectation. From our very first consultation, he truly listened. I wanted my implants removed without replacement and was hoping for a more natural look. Rather than pushing his own agenda, Dr. Cohen thoughtfully balanced his professional expertise with my personal preferences. I always felt informed, respected, and confident that we were making the right decisions together. In addition to my breast explant surgery, Dr. Cohen removed several facial moles and performed DEKA DOT laser treatment. The entire experience--from consultation through recovery--was exceptionally well organized and professional. His staff deserves special recognition. They are knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely caring. They helped research insurance options, walked me through every aspect of preparing for surgery, explained after-care in detail, and answered what felt like a million questions with patience and kindness. I never felt like I was navigating the process alone. Having experienced the surgeon who originally placed my implants years ago, I can honestly say this was an entirely different experience. Dr. Cohen exemplifies what a physician should be: skilled, compassionate, collaborative, and deeply respectful of his patients' goals. He never made me feel pressured to pursue a particular cosmetic outcome. Instead, he helped me achieve exactly what I was hoping for. Perhaps the highest compliment I can give is that every visit felt like I was seeing a trusted friend--someone who genuinely cared about me, not just the procedure. I recommend Dr. Cohen and his entire team without hesitation.
