Dr. Hyman is a master of his craft! I had a primary rhinoplasty in March 2024 and was left with both subpar aesthetic and functional outcomes. I had severe alar retraction, saddle nose deformity, a drooping tip, nasal collapse, etc. From the first virtual consult with Dr. Hyman, I immediately felt that he both saw and validated my concerns and was able to identify the areas to be fixed, even over a video call. He had a plan to fix my issues and was realistic with my expectations for a revision result. I was looking for an extreme turnaround in revision surgery--just over 9 months--as my wedding was quickly approaching. The entire staff was extremely helpful in helping me get all of my appointments booked, especially considerate of me coming from out of state for surgery. Surgery day was a breeze and I felt supported throughout the early recovery process and beyond. Dr. Hyman was extremely responsive in my post op period, and I never felt concerned about my wellbeing due to this support! Tina and Lushes were so helpful in coordinating and supporting as well (and an absolute joy to speak to!). I'm 5 months post op now and ecstatic about my result. My swelling has gone down nicely, Dr. Hyman continues to check in on me during my post op visits, and has never once left me hanging or unheard. I truly cannot thank him enough for helping me overcome my primary results and giving my nose a new look that matches what I envisioned all along!! See posted photos of myself at 9 months post op primary with a DIFFERENT SURGEON (bottom) vs 4 months post op revision with Dr. Hyman (top).

Dr. Hyman is exceptional. He gave me my life back -- and my confidence back. After living with the emotional and physical pain of a failed rhinoplasty, finding Dr. Hyman was truly life-changing. From our very first meeting, he led with unmatched expertise, compassion, and artistry. I immediately knew I was in the right hands. My primary surgery had left me feeling like a stranger in my own face -- with a nose that was overly short, scooped, and upturned, along with breathing issues. For years, it weighed heavily on me every single day. Dr. Hyman didn't just fix my nose -- he restored my natural aesthetic and gave me back the ability to feel proud, beautiful, comfortable, and at peace in my own skin. I no longer think about my nose. I simply feel like myself again -- confident, happy, and free. His artistic eye, surgical skill, and genuine care are unmatched. I am forever grateful to Dr. Hyman and his incredible staff for walking with me through this journey with so much warmth and attention. If you are searching for a true artist and expert to trust, Dr. Hyman is the one. Table pics: https://www.instagram.com/p/DHLwKEUp_M7/?img_index=1 -- I feel sooo elegant and gorgeous at 3 months post op!

Before and after

I really had an incredible experience with Dr. Hyman and his entire staff! He listened to my needs and concerns, and overall made me feel super comfortable and gave me exactly what I asked for. I'm a couple years post-op now and very happy with my results. I had a bulbous tip and bigger nostrils and was really looking for a more defined look with a pinched tip. I got exactly that and get compliments all the time now. Highly, highly recommend.

(Also posted on RealSelf) I had a revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Ari Hyman in May 2023, and it's one of the biggest regrets of my life. I paid $22,000 and was left with a nose that looks deformed, has caused me years of pain, and led to serious emotional distress. From the start, the result was disappointing. The original asymmetry wasn't fixed. Dr. Hyman used very large rib grafts that made my nose look bulkier and unnaturally sharp. Just one week after surgery, the tip already looked too pointy--and it got worse with time. It became hard, sharp, and clearly distorted. Since then, I've seen several top revision surgeons who all said the grafts were excessive, too rigid, and poorly shaped. Dr. Hyman also reduced only one nostril--the right one. The scar wasn't hidden in the natural crease, but placed about 2-3 cm outside of it. The stitching was rough and left stretch marks. My nose bled a lot during recovery. Months later, a stitch even pushed out through the bottom of my nose, and Dr. Hyman had to remove it painfully. He took rib cartilage for the grafts and said he put the leftover rib back. But I had rib pain for two years. Other surgeons now believe this was because the rib was placed under the muscle--something that's not typically done and may have been done wrong. One of the most troubling parts was how little transparency there was. I asked several times for the name and qualifications of the nurse who assisted during surgery, but never got an answer. The IV was placed incorrectly, and my hand hurt for nearly a month. I told Dr. Hyman about this, but nothing came of it. Whenever I shared concerns, I felt dismissed. At one point, he told me he had created a "unique shape"--which felt completely invalidating after everything I'd been through. The surgery lasted 6 hours under general anesthesia. My nose stayed swollen much longer than normal, felt tight from graft tension, and looked uneven in all lighting. It looked nothing like the Photoshop images he had shown me. When I left a comment on his social media expressing concern, I was blocked shortly after. That might be part of why it's hard to find honest, negative reviews about him online. This experience left me socially isolated and crushed my self-esteem for two years. I feel like I lost not just money, but part of my youth, my confidence, and even my rib--to a surgery I now deeply regret. Please be careful. Get more than one opinion, and don't trust polished photos alone. This wasn't just a bad result--it was a life-changing mistake I'll never forget. FEEL FREE TO MESSAGE ME.

Terrible customer service. Got two black eyes after prp from treatment from nurse Ashley. Was not compensated for the unanticipated black eyes and bruising when I was told I should be "back to normal" after one day. Well, guess what, this bruise is going to last for weeks. See pictures.

Before revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Hyman

I had my first rhinoplasty in January 2023 with another surgeon but was not totally happy with the results. I had a prominent dorsal hump that was removed during that surgery, improving my side profile; however, my nose, especially when I smiled, appeared pointy/sharp and drooped down (see photos). The side profile was much better than before that first rhinoplasty, but it didn't look totally natural and there were a few other features I was unhappy with as well. I thought I was content with the surgery at first, thinking the things I did not like would improve as swelling decreased, but the more photos I saw of myself as the year progressed and the more the swelling decreased, the more I realized I was unhappy. About a year after my first surgery, I decided to get a revision. I figured that if I pay that much for my nose, I wanna feel proud of that thang and parade it around town. Revision costs a pretty penny, especially with a good surgeon, but I decided I was willing to make that investment for myself. When I decided to get a revision, I was much more knowledgeable about what to look for in a surgeon. I first found Dr. Hyman's work on Instagram, and was consistently impressed with pretty much every single result. He seemed to just make people's noses fit their faces, and his results appear natural and beautiful. There were other well-known surgeons I looked at, but I actually didn't like their results as consistently. Dr. Hyman is also very well versed with revisions, which is key, as revisions are more complex than primary rhinoplasties. After my consult and the review of his work, I felt 100x more confident with Dr. Hyman as my surgeon that the surgeon I had the first time. The actual surgical experience was also much more comfortable than my first, largely due to the nerve blocks Dr. Hyman administers. I am only 5 weeks out and still have swelling to go down, but I am already so happy with my result. I love my smile so much more, my side profile appears more natural, and my nose fits my face better. I recommend Dr. Hyman highly.

Dr Ari Hyman and his team are the BEST! I adore my new nose! First pic was 7 yrs ago. I'm 3 months out postop in right pic. I was healed 2.5 was before returning to work. Minimal discomfort and rapid quick healing. My cosmetic Derm's anesthesiologist hubs recommended Dr. Hyman! He's admired at the surgical center. Now Dr. Hyman has his own surgical suite! I'd do it all over again! I'm a 55 yr old super fan of Dr. Hyman

Before and after revision rhinoplasty

I have had 7 prior rhinoplasties (yup 7). Long story: was botched and have spent thousands trying to get it fixed, with each surgery making it worse or presenting new problems. I found Dr Hyman through a Facebook revision rhinoplasty group. I was impressed with his work, as his noses weren't bulky and looked feminine, which is what I was looking for. With all my surgeries, my nose had become wide with a Polly beak and retracted columella. A contributing factor in choosing Dr Hyman was that he is also an artist who paints and draws and my experience has taught me that just because you have trained to be a cosmetic surgeon doesn't mean you have an artistic eye. Dr Hyman clearly has an artistic eye. I can't adequately express how happy I am that I found and chose Dr Hyman. I have attached a before and after pic here and as you can see, it speaks volumes. Having thick skin, I am blown away by the improvement only 1 month out. Due to so many surgeries, I have been doing regular HBOT treatments, and although expensive, I believe they have helped. I still have swelling and there are a few irregularities that I expect will resolve when all the swelling subsides. All in all, the improvement is 100%. I can't recommend Dr Hyman enough. A shout out to his office staff as well. They are always kind, responsive and ready to help in anyway they can. If Dr Hyman can fix my nose, he can fix anyone's. I honestly feel like he performed a miracle on my nose!

I had a rhinoplasty and septoplasty performed by Dr.Hyman on 9/4/20 and my experience so far has been amazing :-) My nose was broken and there were a few things I wanted to improve about the appearance which was the wideness of my nostrils, the roundness of the tip & to perfect the slope because it had a tiny bump. He achieved all of that so beautifully and I'm in love with my new nose. I'm so happy with my results at this point and they are just going to get better as the swelling continues to go down. He has been so helpful & responsive with any questions I've had prior to and after my procedure. He has made me feel very comfortable throughout this entire process. Before coming for my consultation, I was already booked for surgery with another reputable ENT surgeon but Dr. Hyman made me feel more at ease and gave me peace of mind which was really important for me. I know I made the right decision to switch doctors & his office staff are all so nice & professional.

Run! And I mean run TO Dr. Cohen as soon as you can. I purposely waited a year to write this review…read morebecause I can now testify that for a whole year since I had my facelift done, Dr. Cohen and his staff have been nothing but attentive to my needs. A lot of times you have great care givers, however this office raises the bar with wonderful comfort givers as well. This particular surgery is a marathon and not a sprint and I feel immense gratitude for the care before, during, and after the procedure. I had never had any cosmetic surgery and to say I was a bit trepidatious is an understatement. I mean, it's my face! I did extensive homework to find a board certified doctor by initially looking at The Aesthetic Society website. Also, I read some medical journals about facelifts (focusing on high SMAS) which gave me a good launch point before my first visit. And finally, I do admit I was hoping to find a Beverly Hills doctor NOT in Beverly Hills. When I went to see Dr. Cohen for a consultation, he repeated most of what I had researched and patiently answered all my questions and clarified any concerns which brought great comfort. This doctor is so amazingly knowledgeable and his passion for constantly learning and vetting new techniques spoke volumes to me. With all this talent, all the credentials, and the medical expertise to back it up, you would maybe expect to find this doctor a bit intimidating but nothing could be further from the truth. He is so genuinely personable. Dr. Cohen could be my new next door neighbor and I would happily throw the welcome party. This doctor truly listens to his patients. I told him I was interested in a re-fresh and not a re-do. I know he is very capable of the latter and there is nothing wrong with that choice if that is what a patient prefers but the former is more who I am. And he delivered. His in-office OR is impeccable and very convenient. Not having to go to a hospital was a big thumbs up for me. His anesthesiologist walks on water as far as I'm concerned. I was more worried about that part than the actual surgery due to past trauma with severe post surgery nausea. He told me I would wake up feeling like I had a nice long wonderful nap and I did. No issues whatsoever. Healing from a full facelift takes time and requires full patient participation. The doctor and his staff were so checked in making sure I was doing well and being there for whatever I needed. Instructions were very well explained before surgery. I had periodic follow-up visits which I really enjoyed partly due to the team atmosphere of the office. Dr. Cohen, Jill, Jaime, Natalie, Lorrie, Alex (and I know I'm missing a couple of other fabulous members), I can't thank all of you enough. They really helped give me a boost during those first few weeks and again highlights the comfort and care giver aspects I mentioned earlier. The post surgery care of being able to take advantage of the in-office spa which includes the miracle CO2 laser was a treat. I had it done during surgery and again a few months later. Highly recommend for a smooth texture especially if you have more mature skin. And I would highly recommend seeing Alex for post surgery lymphatic massage therapy. Dr. Cohen found a gem in her and she helped me so much to keep my swelling down, keep tissue loose, and keep bruising to a minimum. I know my healing time was much shorter because of her. Again, another team member whose superpower is comfort as well as care. The office has many more post care options to tailor to one's needs and I really appreciate how they can customize them to each patient. If anyone is on the fence about cosmetic surgery, I hope this review helps assuage any doubts. It is a big deal and should be thoughtfully considered. If you're an information digger like me, my goal was to do the research for you, save you time, and recommend you make an appointment with Dr. Cohen ASAP. He promises to work golf around all his patients!

After living with painful, encapsulated breast implants for 14 years, I knew choosing the right…read moresurgeon to remove them was one of the most important decisions I'd make. Dr. Cohen exceeded every expectation. From our very first consultation, he truly listened. I wanted my implants removed without replacement and was hoping for a more natural look. Rather than pushing his own agenda, Dr. Cohen thoughtfully balanced his professional expertise with my personal preferences. I always felt informed, respected, and confident that we were making the right decisions together. In addition to my breast explant surgery, Dr. Cohen removed several facial moles and performed DEKA DOT laser treatment. The entire experience--from consultation through recovery--was exceptionally well organized and professional. His staff deserves special recognition. They are knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely caring. They helped research insurance options, walked me through every aspect of preparing for surgery, explained after-care in detail, and answered what felt like a million questions with patience and kindness. I never felt like I was navigating the process alone. Having experienced the surgeon who originally placed my implants years ago, I can honestly say this was an entirely different experience. Dr. Cohen exemplifies what a physician should be: skilled, compassionate, collaborative, and deeply respectful of his patients' goals. He never made me feel pressured to pursue a particular cosmetic outcome. Instead, he helped me achieve exactly what I was hoping for. Perhaps the highest compliment I can give is that every visit felt like I was seeing a trusted friend--someone who genuinely cared about me, not just the procedure. I recommend Dr. Cohen and his entire team without hesitation.
