Mini 4in Grogu Vegeta Fries Crave Box
    Princess P.

First time eating here. & their food is . We ordered the crave box. My sandwich was Grogu & the fries were Vegeta fries. For myself personally, I would say a little less sauce for the fries. I kinda got tired of the sauce after a while. Overall, the food was ! I called in the order, & the person who helped me provided some good customer service.

Location is in a decent area. Parking right in the front. Service was fast and friendly. Came in here during lunch time and we did not know what to order and we were easily convinced with the recommendations from the cashier. I got the red storm and my friend got ed edd and eddy. Love the scenery here the decor. Location so clean and cute. Definitely recommend and will return. We loved our choices. 10/10

Overall it's delicious. I drove to Hayward to pick up sandwiches for my kids to eat as lunches at school. I told them to off half and they did. Everything was wrapped well. The place is small but clean. They also have connect for you to play. Water was provided for you to help yourself. They bought my order to the table for me. Great customer service!

Ambiance: casual, has seatings Service: nice FOOD: The bread has a nice crisp to it, love the ratio of the meats and veggies and their crave sauce just made it a perfect sandwich! My favorites were their ED EDD N EDDY (pastrami, turkey, and beef salami) & BUZZLIGHT (turkey pesto) Tip// ask for extra crave sauce on the side They also have loaded curly fries that's a good appetizer to share!!

Delicious sandwiches and friendly, efficient service. Their Dutch is has actual crunch to it, unlike most other delis. My only thing was that they go heavy on the sauce, but that's just their style, so not really a complaint. I'll just ask for light sauce next time. Cool space too. Stylish, roomy, and inviting. I'll be back!

    Wolverine fries - missing jalapeños

I was really hoping to like this place because it's so hard to find a good sandwich place that's not in San Francisco! Portions are not as claimed, half my sandwich was the size of my pinky. The Barney sandwich was just ok, nothing special flavor wise. The wolverine fries were missing toppings (jalapeños). Gave it one star because the fries had good flavor even I didn't get jalapeños.

Had Crave Subs for lunch and everything hit the spot. I ordered the Mr. Incredible, 12 inch on Dutch crunch with fries, and a mini Patrick Star sandwich. I asked for my sandwich to be cored and they did it perfectly. The Crave sauce, a sweet and creamy garlic sauce with a hint of jalapeno flavor, was a fantastic match with the savory pastrami, fresh lettuce and tomato, and that perfectly crisp but not too hard Dutch crunch bread. The Patrick Star was also a winner with crispy juicy chicken strips, Crave sauce, and melted pepper jack cheese. We placed our order through Yelp for pickup, so we didn't interact much with the staff, but they made sure our full order was complete. We also got two cookies, chocolate chip and Dubai chocolate, along with curly fries and jalapeno chips. Both cookies were excellent. This spot is a great choice for sandwiches if you're in the area. We ate ours in the car and still enjoyed every bite.

Do yourself a favor and skip subway forever, come here instead!! Super yummy and lots of different sandwiches for all types. The workers are fast and kind and the space is very nerdy retro (comics and such decor). I love the Turkey fight club but some other orders my family have gotten were pretty good too (Mr Incredibles, Madagascar, Shaggy, and Ed Edd and Eddy).

Crazy ambitious menu with pizza, burgers, wings, kabobs, wraps and many Mid East favs like falafels, dolmas, gyro and babaghanoush. I only tried a couple of items, so I do need to try a few more things eventually. Order at the counter and food will get brought out. Seems like a place popular for take-out/deliveries. On a casual lunch I was impressed by the diversity in the place, as it is downtown Hayward. Young, old and cultural garb from several cultures spotted. Service at the register was friendly, dude gave off ownership vibes. Falafel Wrap ($11/4*) Very fresh and satsifying wrap. Big, soft and puffy pita bread is filled to the brim with fresh salad-like veggies. Chopped lettuce, tomato, onions and a couple of pickled items. Stuffed also with a decent amount of fat disk of falafel and a good dousing of tahini sauce. I loved the bites for the most part as I was full without feeling weighed down for the lunch hours. The falafels had good flavor but just didn't seem as crisp as I usually prefer, didn't seem fresh out of the fryer, which the places that are known for this definitely do. I especially liked the bites more when a pickled veggie entered the bite, so I should have ordered extra...next time. Beef Kabobs ($25/4*) Got this for take-out and it was still good hours later after a reheat. Beef is in small cubes and cooked pretty well done. A bit dry but at least it was flavorful. Definitely taste more Afghan in spicing/marinade, pretty bold with lots of garlic and herbs. De Afghanan out here in the east bay is the gold standard for these types of kabobs and those are cut into bigger chunks and are juicier by a lot. Kabob plates comes with a good amount of seasoned basmati rice, a pita bread, a small green salad and a small scoop of hummus. Even tho $25 seems a bit pricey, there is enough food to justify the price. I was able to make 1.5 meals out of it with a good dinner and a small work lunch. I actually want to try a pizza here and definitely a lamb kabob. I hang out in this downtown area often, so great having another casual option in my back pocket. Yeah Buddy!!

My go-to is the triple kebab (which you can customize), and I'm partial to their shami (ground beef), chicken, and chapli (beef patty). The meat is succulent and incredibly well-seasoned, with the shami being a standout...definitely the kind of dish you don't judge by its cover! This dish is served on a bed of rice and small salad. The rice is cooked well. I have also tried several of their appetizers, and my favorites are the samosas and borani banjan (eggplant), though the bolani are also great, and the serving size is enough to feed a small army. The samosas are a nice departure from traditional samosas I am accustomed to, especially at India restaurants. The ones here are large, flatter (almost like an empanada), and not the slightest bit greasy. You can tell they make these fresh. The banjan have a nice acidity and a tasty cream/tomato sauce they are tossed within. The bolani can be prepared with either leeks or potatoes (or ask for a combo!) and are served with a cream dipping sauce. I feel that everything here is a good value, with the triple kebab coming in at $25, and the appetizers all coming in at $10-$15. You will not leave hungry.

The inside from my guess seats about 40 people max but seems that they may receive more takeout orders. I appreciated the chicken serving on the Grilled Chicken Salad but, there was definitely not enough greens. I also feel that red onion would've leveled up the salad. The chicken was not dry at all. The beef kabob was tasty however, the meat serving sizes for the kabob plate was quite small.

After shopping, for lunch I decided to eat at Adrienne's Wild Wings. I'm a sucker for wings, but I've never been to Adrienne's Wild Wings before. I asked the cashier what sauce she would recommend. She stated one of the sauces she liked was honey garlic. I ordered 10-piece combo that included ten wings, side order, and dessert. For the side order I choose tater tats while for the dessert I selected cheesecake. The 10-piece combo comes with two sauces. I choose honey butter, which is the dry rub, and honey garlic. I believe sauces should be used for flavoring not hiding. What do I mean by that? I've noticed sometimes sauces mask how dry the meat is. I decided to taste the honey butter first to see how moist the meat is inside. After taking a bite two things came to mind. First I couldn't taste the honey butter. Second the meat was moist. I tried the honey garlic. The cashier said the honey garlic was spicy. However I felt the honey garlic was spicy at all. Yet the honey garlic sauce was very flavorful. What did I like more the honey butter or honey garlic? I say this was toss up as I can taste more of the meat from the honey butter, yet I can enjoy the sauce of the honey garlic. The tater tots were disappointing as they were bland. The cheesecake was light. I don't shop at Southland Mall often. If I go back Southland Mall and become hungry for lunch I can see myself going back to Adrienne's Wild Wings.

Figured it was worth a try. On my first visit, the posted opening hours were from 12:00-10:00, but nobody was at the restaurant manning the window or the counter when I arrived. Second visit happened to be later in the afternoon, about 2pm. I got two slices of pizza, pepperoni and mushroom. Their slices are the New York style, although the crust is a bit more dense than traditional NY style, but I liked the flavor enough to overlook that. The price is quite reasonable too. They also advertise smashburgers on their signage, so I didn't feel like it would be proper to not also get one of those as well on my third visit. I just ordered online and took it to-go, but I had the same problem with nobody really being at the window when I got there. Luckily someone must have seen me standing outside and told the person inside. The smashburger was decent, and the fries that came as a side were perfectly cooked - they are the battered homestyle fry variety, but not too greasy or oily. I think the food here is good, I just think the posted hours could use some clarity. The website says they are open at 12:00, but it's very rare to actually have them be fully open and ready to serve food at that time.

There are plenty of Indian restaurants in Fremont where we live, but since our favorite go-to place closed, we've yet to find another that perfectly pleases us both. He's a vegetarian. I'm not. He likes heavy spice and some heat. My tastes run towards mildly spiced chicken curries. If you are considering Shahi Darbar based on Yelp reviews and photos, you will not be disappointed. There is ample parking in front as the restaurant is in a strip mall without a lot of evening traffic. Outside is brightly lit and inside, the dining area is large, so there is plenty of room between tables. Even though there were many people there and music overhead we could still hear each other and converse. There are tables and booths. It's clean and bright. Our server was attentive and friendly. The menu is extensive! It was hard to choose, but I ordered chicken tikka masala because I don't see it offered at too many other restaurants, not the way butter chicken is.. it was wonderful! The server asked our preferred spice levels and the kitchen delivered. Husband ordered palak paneer and loved that the spinach wasn't over creamed or over blended (he doesn't like when the spinach is no longer recognizable as spinach and the palak looks like green baby food - this is not the case here). The palak paneer was perfect. We had veg pakora as an appetizer. It was SO good. Since we were celebrating a birthday and had cake waiting at home, we took home a lot of leftovers, which made the next night's dinner at home pretty epic too. For such a nice place, the prices are reasonable. There is a full bar. I had my back to it and didn't see it until we were leaving. I'm not sure if it is open all the time or not. When we return, likely for our anniversary next month, I might order a drink. It was about a 25 minute drive for us, so we won't be able to make this our new go-to, but you can be sure we will return as soon and as often as the opportunity comes along again.
