After driving an hour and 20 minutes from Oceanside, I was a little nervous on what we are going to get that I have experienced with cheesy used car dealers in the past who are high-pressure pitch, or try to be charged for these silly "mandatory" dealer add-ons (such as Lo Jack GPS tracking and /or protection film). Or the dreaded "oh so sorry, we just sold that one, but we have this ugly more expensive car over here!"...but nothing like that here. Gio was very knowledgeable and I liked his consultative sales style was also professional. He explained that they mainly buy cars "Green Light" from auctions: the auctioneer guarantees the purchaser (Hanna Autotomize in this case) that the car is mechanically sound regarding the engine, transmission, and drive train. The auctioneer that sell these Green Light cars offers arbitration to the dealer too (returning the car or getting repair costs) if hidden, major defects are found within a 7-14 days. Gio's dealer do charge a few hundred dollars (up to $995 I think?) depending on the car price) that covered the cost to replace anything after their own internal mechanic reviews the car, so that there are no surprises later that would have to be relaced by me anyways. They provided a CarFax for free and an option for a paid extended warranty for peace of mind too. I am really lucky to find this boutique family owned dealer and I highly recommend Hanna.

I waited & got no response back so I texted him & his response was, "his finance team left for the day, but he'll get me the OTD first thing when they open up!" Well, yesterday,Saturday 9/6/26, his dealership opens up @ 10am & I never got the OTD! I waited all fking day for this bastrd to send me it or at least contact me, but I got no response! I texted Gio in the afternoon which of course, no response! That evening before closing time, I called Gio & he claims that the OTD was sent to my email, which he never did, but he'll go ahead & send it to me right away! Waited 5 minutes, got nothing so I called Gio back right away & this time this mfkr was in his car driving!! Then lies & says there was a typo in my email! There was no typo since my email address was clear in the spelling! In conclusion, Gio will answer the phone, but not your text message! They won't follow up with you because they want you to rush & be gulllable! These small used car dealerships like Hanna Automotive, HATE people asking for an OTD so they give you the run around & lie! An OTD exposes them to shady shit & this dealership along with many other shady small used car dealerships, love to pull the wool over your eyes! The headrests actually had screens in the back, 1 of them worked and the other didn't and he said that's why he had covered them up and didn't advertise the screens because 1 didn't function. Mind you, these may be flaws others are willing to look past, but I'm the type of person that wants quality. there was many more flaws in the interior that's to much to mention, and the exterior had dents that aren't noticeable in the pictures, the tires were super old, it had oil leaks, and like I said more things I won't mention, all minor things I guess but when u add it up it comes out to atleast 3k more.. His advertising makes it seem like the cars are nice, it isn't until you get there that the flaws are revealed. And I drove all the way down there from Indio. A lot of these reviews are great and everyone says how " honest " he is, but an honest person wouldn't falsely advertise. He didn't reveal how the car was " not perfect " in his words, until we got there. After driving the car for 50 miles check engine light came on. Too the vehicle back and they sent it to their mechanic. He traded the codes and have it back. Codes pop up again, they tell me take it to the dealer. I do. It needs a catalytic converter, o2 sensor and had a factory recall on some other part on the vehicle. So I get it fixed. Drive the car home and guess what.... Check engine light again. Evap system bad. Well that was another 500 bucks. Plus rental cars. I call Navi and am told, well that's the car business....wtf! Supposedly had a clean car fax too... Guess what that was wrong also. Started looking being the bumper cover to find the radiator support was crushed from an accident. Wow. I called and they said well the Carfax could've been wrong. Anyways now I'm just dumping money into a vehicle that I really didn't think I was going to have to.
