I want to share my experience. I have purchased 9 cars in my life, so I'm familiar with the car-buying process. I visited this dealership to buy a 2023 Tesla Model Y. A salesperson named Adiel helped me with a test drive, and I really liked the car. After the test drive, I told him I wanted to know the total out-the-door price. He asked if I was financing or paying cash. I clearly told him I was paying cash and did not need financing. He then introduced me to another employee named Fernando, who wrote $36,000 on a piece of paper as the total price. The Tesla itself was listed at about $27,900, but he did not provide any breakdown of the additional charges. I asked for an itemized breakdown. After that, his attitude seemed to change. He went to print the breakdown, and I was surprised by what I saw. They had added: * $1,495 for Windshield Protection, which I never asked for. * $1,495 for Stargard GPS, which I also never requested. I was paying cash, so I did not need any dealer-installed GPS product. Tesla already includes built-in GPS, vehicle tracking, and remote features through the Tesla app. These extra charges were never explained to me before I asked for the breakdown. The vehicle also had a reported accident history and visible front bumper damage. Yet with all the added fees, the total price was around $36,000. For that amount of money, I could find a 2024 Tesla Model Y with lower mileage and in better condition. The dealership also charged over $1,100 in fees, but they did not clearly explain what those fees were. As a deaf customer, I rely on written communication and honesty. I can't say why these charges weren't explained upfront, but it made me feel that I wasn't being treated transparently. Being deaf does not mean I won't read every document or ask questions. I decided to walk away without buying the car. My advice to anyone buying a used car: * Always communicate by email or text whenever possible so you have written records of everything. * Ask the dealership to send you the VIN and a CARFAX report before you visit. * Ask if the vehicle has been inspected. If they say yes, ask for the inspection report and any issues they found. * Ask if the car has any damage, scratches, dents, or repaired areas. If they say yes, ask them to send you photos before you visit. * Ask for the complete out-the-door cash price with an itemized breakdown of every fee and add-on. Review everything first, then discuss financing only if you're interested. * Question every dealer add-on and fee. Don't assume they're required. * Don't rush to buy a car. Compare different vehicles, prices, mileage, condition, and warranty before making your decision. Taking your time will give you peace of mind and help you find the best value. I'm sharing my experience because I want other buyers to have a good experience. I don't want anyone to end up with a lemon or become stuck with a car loan they later regret. Do your research, ask questions, and make sure you're completely comfortable before signing any paperwork.

I drove 2 hours with cash to this dealership specifically for a vehicle they advertised online for $15,995. Right when I got there Victors (sales guy) walked up to me I showed him what truck I wanted and we started walking to it, as we're walking he said "you know the truck is going to be around $24,000 after taxes and everything) and said that doesn't sound right. We got to the truck and I started checking it out while he went to get the keys, there was a sticker on the windshield showing multiple "add-ons". While we were on the test drive I asked him if the add-ons were the reason he quoted me $24,000 for a truck they have listed at $15,995 and he said yeah that they have between $5,000-$6,000 of add ons in the truck. I told him I don't want any of that and he said unfortunately they are already on there and can't remove them. I asked if all their cars have the add-ons and he said yes. This is not just a deceptive business practice; it is a direct violation of California Vehicle Code § 11713.1(e), which legally requires dealerships to sell a vehicle at the advertised total price, free of forced undisclosed add-ons. If you go to Yelp you can see their real reviews, Yelp is a lot harder to fake reviews. Companies post fake reviews on Google all the time. They do this to everyone just read the reviews. Don't buy from these scum bags.

Sunrise Ford however, removed much of that anxiety and concern from my head. I called in Saturday afternoon, knowing what vehicle I was interested in after seeing it listed online I was connected with Larry, who I later learned was a new salesman to the dealership, despite having many years of experience. Larry was able to provide me with the Carfax for the vehicle, as it was used, additional photos, pricing information, and had the vehicle ready and waiting for me when I arrived later that afternoon. Larry was very kind and upfront with all the information I needed to know and allowed me to peruse the vehicle at my leisure. When I was ready to make my purchase, Larry made things simple and guided me through every step and assured me with confidence and expertise. Above all, Larry was kind he was honest and he was fun to talk to and work with. He stayed on top of everything and communicated perfectly. The only thing I didn't get was a bow on my car, but he still made it happen by borrowing one from the showroom so that I could take my photos which he also took for me. With this being my experience thus far, I have no question that they will continue to take care of me should I have any hiccups or questions. Thank you, Larry and thank you Sunrise Ford. Larry, I pray you go very far in this industry.

The guy I had talked to on the phone (can't remember his name) was so nice and kind said he'd make sure everything is taken care of. We get down there and the rude guy said we're not doing any kind of work on this car til you pay the 250 that's owed. Ok that being said , she put over 2000 down and she has paid over 3000 to fix it here and there. I told him to wait til Jan 20 he said no I'm not waiting it's going to collections. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone we got a bad car and the rude guy told me to tell the financial company that the car was perfect running ( it was for a min) so they'd finance it. The car is beautiful but it wouldn't pass smog if it needed to.
