Guy said he'd install it since they offer the service for free. Before the new battery the battery was dying on us and was supposed to be replaced long ago. The new one would not start unless he jumped it. Tried to start it again with just the battery, still wouldn't start. We went back in to receive a core refund for our old one. Went back out and we got a jump to go home. Mid backing up the car completely turned off on us. Came back out and gave us a jump. Hooked up the machine and told us we'd need a new alternator. He tried to sell us one inside but I told him our mechanic replaced the part not even 6 months ago and it was under warranty. He asked if I trusted my mechanic and I said yes. We left. He told us we'd have to drive back through small streets with our headlights off since the lights drain the battery so much. We drove it home and it was already dark. Had my mechanic come out and he said someone tampered with the alternator and he showed me, it looked like it had been smashed in and some pieces had been broken off. You could also see greasy fingerprints all around it. He then showed me that the battery was not even properly connected. Said he wouldn't be surprised if the battery gave out a few months later from being put in improperly and driving it that way. He fixed the battery connection and replaced the alternator that was still under warranty for no charge. Never trusting another O'Reillys again. Shady people.

That said, they are overwhelmed with business to the point that I had concerns about their customer service and attention to detail. I dropped of my jeep nearly 3 months ago with a list of repairs, and it took nearly a month to get a response and quote for the work. Another several weeks to get the work done. I made the mistake of asking about one more minor repair as an afterthought - which set us back another month to find the part, etc. Had I known the cost associated, I would have declined to have it done in the first place. When I finally got the jeep home, I noticed the spare was on - no mention of this when I picked it up. I am very laid back but this experience didn't sit well with me, so I called the manager and spoke with him about it. He offered an explanation but no remedy. In short: they are too busy these days to take care of repeat customers and proactively offer solutions, so I will take my business elsewhere next time.

Let me tell you what I appreciate most: service. You'll notice I haven't written a Yelp review in a decade, but these guys deserve it. If you've ever worked in business with a proper team dynamic, you'll recognize it too. Cobb told me to pund sand and turned my show car into a paper weight. I recently purchased a Bumper from Spillar. They completely put the wrong product on my car. After…read moretelling them they said I was wrong. I showed them the photo I brought in, the photo from the Ranch Hand website which was on the flyer in their show room. The older lady in the office proceeded to tell me that despite the fact the brochure which was right in front of her show differently that I was wrong. It has little to do with the bumper, quality or even how it was installed. It is 100% to do with the attitude of the staff, the lack of attention to detail Or willingness to admit they ordered the wrong part. To top it off they couldn't even figure out what the balance correctly. In the end it was a five dollar difference, but I was willing to pay it to leave and not have to deal with the worst customer service I've had in a while. You really have to want the bumper and have no other options to use Spillar. Make sure you get everything in writing, keep your paperwork, and dot the I's and cross the T's. No matter what, don't expect them to apologize if they screw up. Prologue: After reviewing the paperwork I realized they had even written it down, the way we had discussed it. I confronted them with this and told them they needed to make it right. It's hard to be a small business and turn a profit, I of all people understand that. An apology would've gone along way, a few hundred dollars discounted drastically changes my attitude. I have much higher hopes going into this
