So I asked about the trim clips. They don't carry them. He said, "There's too many different kinds." I said, "Well, what kind of parts do you have?" He said, "Hard parts. Brakes, rotors, things like that." I asked him the price for brakes for my car, and....less than $70 each!!! He said, "They cost more because it's a fancy car." The price for "regular" brakes? Less than $40!!! I was outraged. Told him that I don't need brakes just yet, but will come back when I do. He said, "I got a guy who can do them for you." Awesome. I found a good guy near me, but will absolutely do a price comparison. I suspect the markup on brakes is very, very high, although labor costs make up the bulk of the charges for new brakes. While I didn't get the trim clips, and also didn't drive long enough to get the inspection done, I am very happy to have found this parts store! Most of the inventory is behind the counter, but fluids etc are on accessible shelves.

Above all, Mike is honest and stands by his work. For example, in the Fall of 2018, Ronk replaced my brakes and rotors. This Spring, my brakes squeaked consistently during the rain, and Mike inspected them and explained that the brakes are good and function well; and that sometimes they squeak when constantly wet. He is certainly right because it is summer now, and my brakes no longer make noise. Lastly, Mike the owner is friendly and jovial. So just know that if this place knows that you make money they're gonna try and squeeze it out of you no matter what they don't care if you're about to crash into a car going 50 mph because you can't break because they didn't put in things correctly.. Another time my husband gave me a coupon he had for a special they were running for an oil change, which is what I was bringing my car in for. I usually speak with Stephanie, in customer service, at the front desk. She is the nicest person and the epitome of what customer service should be. She goes out of her way to accomodate you and is extremely efficient! This particular day though, I dealt with Aggie, part owner of Pinky's. The coupon was for part synthetic oil but my car took full synthetic oil so Aggie told me the cost beforehand, which wasn't really much more anyway! Another time, my tire had a slow leak because I ran over a nail. My tire was patched and a year later it's still fine. My daughter has a 2013 Hyundai which has needed a lot of work over the past year. Mark diagnosed everything accurately and made the necessary repairs at a very reasonable price with a long term warranty! I also have to comment on the waiting area and bathroom as I'm one to pay attention to detail. The waiting area is clean and tidy with a TV and snack machine so it's very comfortable should you choose to wait for your car. The bathroom is also very clean and tidy and.... there's PINK toilet paper!!! That's just awesome!! If you are looking for a great and honest Mechanic, your search stops here! While I was on the Long Island Expressway, my engine light came on and the car started smoking from the engine. I pulled over and realized it was my radiator overheating on my jeep grand Cherokee. Now I needed to get it fixed ASAP! I went on Yelp and found this Tire Guys that fixes everything. I took it in and the owner Tony was there. He immediately looked at my car and said yep your radiator is cracked! Now, honestly I don't have that kind of money to change a radiator, but I also don't have money to buy a new car either. To my dismay he offered to fix it for a reasonable price within my budget. But what was most impressive he had my car up and running again in 4 hours. I mean 4 hours!!!! I didn't have to rent a car, I didn't have downtime and it most importantly didn't ruin my vacation. I mean I didn't want to spend money fixing it either, but I also needed my car!
