Rob, the shop manager, quickly diagnosed why my brakes were pulsating after having them replaced…read moreonly a year ago by another shop which has since gone out of business. Rob discovered that my former shop only replaced bits and pieces when replacing my brakes and calipers! Ex: right side clip new, left side old. After driving on them for year they began to wear unevenly. No wonder my former shop, Frontline in McHenry, closed shop abruptly. Rob was able to replace all the worn brakes, calipers, and rotors that afternoon. He even did a thorough of inspection of the rest of the car and told me that the tumbler needed to be replaced on my turn signal. That's why the turn signal would get stuck "ON" when turning LEFT. Contacted the dealership and they wanted $50, so I decided to see if an independent shop near me would do it for less. I called Jose's since it's about 5 min from me and they said it wouldn't cost much since it was an easy job so I stopped by. When I walked in, I was greeted by the cutest, sweetest dog and Jose got to work installing the bracket. We had a good conversation - very personable and kind - which I appreciated, and before I knew it, he was done! After we got done talking, I went to pay and he told me not to worry about it. I could not believe he did that and I am so thankful. There aren't many good and kind hearted people left and I truly believe Jose is one of them.
