I asked for a headlight bulb and the guy behind the counter asked what kind of car I had. After I told him he was suddenly taking a personal phone call while looking up my car. "I'm at work" and "I'm bout to get up out of this bitch" was what I couldn't help overhearing. After he came back with the product I paid and I asked if he could switch the bulb out for me. He told me he would look at it if it wasn't complicated he could do it. He went out and looked under the hood of my car and told me that there were "clamps" he didn't want to break and it was too complicated he couldn't do it. I went home, pulled up a YouTube video and changed it myself in less than 5 minutes. There were no "clamps". Do yourself a favor and save $10 by getting your light at Walmart and do it yourself. I was willing to pay the extra money at O'Reilly's thinking I would have better service than Walmart. The employees at this O'Reilly's are rude and lazy.

Issues that did not exist before their repair. What followed was 8 failed attempts by their service department to correct the problems they themselves caused. Despite the repeated failures, the service manager emailed me stating that "any and all even remotely possible related concerns have been corrected and repaired at no cost to you." That statement was simply not true. The problems continued, and still continue today. Over the last several months, I've had to return again and again, only to receive the truck back with the same issues or new ones created by their workmanship. Instead of accountability, I received dismissive responses and empty assurances. Warranty coverage does not excuse poor quality control, misdiagnosis, or repeated failed repairs. A dealership should stand behind its work. Gurnee CDJR did not. If you value your time, your vehicle, and your peace of mind, I strongly recommend choosing a different service center. A Video from another dealership service tech showed missing bolts, reused gasket, oil leak, manifold loose, improper and loose coolant hose, error codes pointing at the prior work and continue of created problems from the job done in September 2025. Invoice, text, email video, pictures and voicemail all submitted to Attorney General and BBB. Not a good experience what's so ever after paying $5400. (Not including car rental). I have been more than patient as a customer.

The employee came out and did the battery test, and it turns out my battery was on its last leg. The employee helped me choose the right battery for my van and was able to install it. Took a little bit of work, but the job got done. I love that they can do that service right then and there. Much cheaper than going to my dealership and finding a time to get to the dealership since they were booked out until the following week. They provide other quick services, which is nice when you need a quick fix.
