Came in to try and get some new windshield wipers and whoever the guy was that helped me some short Asian kid absolutely had no clue how to assist me and refused to ask any of colleagues for further assistance and told me to go to O'reilly....worst experience ever. Literally don't ever come here. There's a reason they are all going out of business. Terrible return policies but more than that, their staff doesn't care about the customer or each other. There was an employee who looked like he was having convulsions from mental issues or an overdose. I asked the other employee if that guy was ok and all she did was shrug. Awful experience. Grisceli went out of her way to contact the Houston store and make sure my warranty replacement went as smooth as possible. Truck battery died at work - looked online best place to buy a battery. "Advamce Auto Parts". "They loan you tools if you want to replace it yourself in the parking lot. I got a jump start drove there and my car died in the parking lot. So Lucky - just as advertised- they had my battery and let me use the tools - it was a pain in the rear and i likely ruined a pair of dress pants - but i saved probably $300 - $500 on paying some one to do it for me. Terrible experience. I called all morning to see if they had parts in stock, no answer. I go on my lunch break to get the parts. I stood there for 10 minutes while TWO employees helped ONE customer with a simple battery replacement. I finally walked out after not being greeted or spoken to the entire time I was there. If I could give zero stars I would let's start with Jaime Garza the General manager that sold me the wrong brake pads even though I told him twice that I needed it for the rear I went to my mechanic shop and they noticed that I was provided front brake pads I did call up there to complain and Jamie came to the mechanic shop which was two minutes away at Walmart off of 121 Let's just say we had a good exchange of words I have a video recording of our interaction because he felt the need to say that he's doing me a favor of dropping the brake pads !!!! This place needs to get shut down! Got a battery replaced from here, guy looked it up on the computer and everything. Few months later my car won't start and will only start when jumped. Took it back to them TWICE for a battery and alternator check, they said nothing was wrong. Took my car to a REAL mechanic who said THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG SIZE BATTERY AND IT CAUSED MY ALTERNATOR TO BURN OUT FROM ALL THE RESISTANCE. So a simple $160 repair ended up costing over $800 because some dumbass can't even correctly look up a part on a computer. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE AND DRIVE A FEW MINUTES DOWN THE ROAD TO A REAL SHOP LIKE AUTOZONE OR O'REILLY'S. This place is a total scam and ripoff! read more

Not surprised to see this as a 1 star place. I literally made an account just to give this place 1 star. I went in to return an unopened tool and the manager accused me of restapling the package. In his words: "I've been the GM here for 9 years I think I would know how my packages are stapled" This was my first time here buying a tool and I never opened the packaging. DO NOT BUY YOUR AUTOMOTIVE PARTS HERE. They sold me two bad egr valves for which a certified Mechanic affirmed. The last EGR Valve went out after ONE WEEK. The store will not refund my money. They only want to replace it with another bad EGR Valve. read more
