Matt and Kyle saved me well over $400! I had an engine light which gave a code of P0300 "to many…read moremisfires". The code recommended me to replace plugs, wires, vacuum leaks and various other crap. Matt said, "I'd love to take more of you're money but let's start with the exhaust. Take it to a exhaust shop and have them leak test it. Then come back, see me and we'll go from there." Being new to Derry, I had no clue where to find an exhaust company locally so Kyle and Matt both recommended Lou's Custom Exhaust. Now that it is NAPA we have new product lines, the prices have gone through the roof, completely different software, and changes in how management over sees the stores. I have been doing business for years with Sanels, won't be doing business with the new Sanels NAPA.

On the way to get cash for it (he doesn't accept cards), I called another salvage yard who said that they didn't have the part, but would usually charge $35 for it. When I asked the owner of Watt's why his price was higher he became extremely belligerent, yelling about how his offer was non-negotiable and if I didn't like it I shouldn't let the door hit my (rear) on the way out. After berating me for several minutes I tried to play peacemaker, even going so far as to apologize if my question had offended him, that wasn't my intent. He then proceeded to yell and curse at me for several more minutes. I might have considered paying his price, but had completely lost interest because I was so disgusted with the way he treated me - a fact I informed him of as I left. Insulting your customers is certainly a unique business strategy, but not a particularly effective one. Terrible.

I called ahead to have my kid's Honda Odyssey worked on (the buggy, not the car) - it needs tires and a pull cord for the starter, since it broke off. Easy fixes, they said on the phone. I get there, no one from service is there and the "manager" says they wouldn't work on it anyway, take it to a Honda dealer. Thanks for wasting my time. So dissapointing, since they were so awesome maintaining my kid's dirtbikes for years.
