Went in for an air filter for my car. The employee acted bored and in no way wanted to assist me. Said he had one filter and just stopped talking like he had a stroke. Just because you hate your job, don't be unhelpful with your customers. I will not be returning ever again. read more

The staff are on their phones, holding personal conversations versus being productive and rotating freight for available sale. Also, their website indicates that they accept UPS packages however they have a handwritten note stating that they are no longer accepting UPS drop off packages per management. We went to get a check engine light scanned. The girl gave the scanner to my husband even though he said he didn't know how to use one. Luckily I do. I went inside to ask for help and they said "the screen reads the code". I politely said "yes I know, it's a sensor. Can you tell me how to fix it?". She rolled her eyes and the older gentleman next to her (I'm assuming the manager) said to me "well if it's a sensor, it's to replace it" in the most rude tone. Then I said "okay can you help me find the sensor". He said "yea that's what I'm doing" even though he wasn't even looking at his computer, just staring me down. I never write reviews but the way they talked to me was just uncalled for and unprofessional. read more

This is number 3 for Auto parts stores to arrive in Manor, with O'Reillys and AutoZone down the road..truly they all seam to be the same..looking for a specific socket this round and he let me try before I buy..although was odd to only have one person, that I could see, working on a Sunday..was a bit of a wait, but bought what I needed and out the door I went..I will say I have used Advanced Autos online order feature and it rocks, looking forward to using this store as it's closer then the others.. read more

I bought a battery online and verified it was ready for pickup at store 7812 in Manor Texas. I get to the store and I'm told the battery is not there. I waited over an hour for them to search for my battery. Finally telling me it is not in the store. They tried to up-sell me a battery for twice the money I spent on the previous battery. Finally, after refusing the more expensive battery they said they would get one in the following day. I never got a call telling me the battery was in. After talking with the manager, she tells me that they don't call their customers. The customer should call them to make sure the product is in the store. It seems that this colossal mess got messier. The nerve of a store to think after the online or in store mess up requires a customer follow-up is a horrible business model. I will be leaving a horrible review using my social media accounts. I will also make sure my friends and family NEVER shop at advanced auto. I would not be surprised to see a business with this type of business plan to be bankrupt in no time at all. I will take my business elsewhere from now on. read more

I called the store today 1/21 at 12:00PM, needing to know if they had a part in stock. I was told they had several parts I needed and there was no need for them to hold it for me. When I drove over to pick it up, I was told they were out and they would have to order. When I explained to the clerk what I was told, he was very rude, sarcastic and unprofessed. Good place, WeIl stocked. Loaned out a tool too which was in good condition. They usually have discounts running through my bank. Not bad!
