The most incompetent staff I've ever encountered, and I'm not even talking about just AutoZone. The manager was the worst part. I came in to have my battery changed under my warranty, which went smoothly as soon as we identified which account it was under. Once the manager popped my hood, she took one look at my battery and immediately said she wasn't going to change it because of "corrosion". She didn't even test my battery. My fiancé had to come down to the AutoZone after work to help me. He lightly passed the brush over the battery terminal with a small wire brush about 5 times and the "corrosion" fell right off. Of course we were both upset because it's the employees' job to follow through with the warranty and provide full service. The manager failed to take responsibility and do her job. I paid for this battery and the warranty so that AutoZone could replace it when needed. My fiancé did all the work save for going to the back and grabbing a new battery. The manager, an older hispanic woman (I say this as a hispanic woman), needs retraining and possibly a refresher on company values and policies. read more

Stopped by to get new windshield wipers and they were super helpful. They looked up the kind my car needed, suggested which brand to get, went and got them for me and then installed them on my car while I sat inside my car since it was raining! read more

I called to see if they had an oil filter for my motorcycle. They said NO but they could have one by end of the day. That was just fine and dandy, but when they told me I need to come down and pay for it first I refused and went to Advance Auto. I've been shopping at this particular Manor TX AutoZone since it opened and have likely spent over $1000 in that time. To ask for payment of a $7 oil filter in advance? LOL they lucky I gave em 2 stars...and that is only because they picked up the telephone on the 3rd ring. read more

If you are ever in an emergency situation don't go to this AutoZone! The Manager has ZERO customer service, ZERO compassion and ZERO empathy! All of which you need on some level in a customer service role, especially as a MANAGER. My husband's truck literally will not start in the parking lot and she refuses to allow her employee to put the battery in his truck. It was NEAR closing time, while the associate was helping TWO customers she stood frustratingly behind the counter and never helped him to assist the customers. It takes the associate 10 minutes to assist my husband. We purchased the battery but she wouldn't let him put it in because they were closing! Then she charged us $20 because she wouldn't take the battery back. Now we have hopefully get a refund when we return the old battery for disposal! Joshua was phenomenal to stay AFTER work to help. Thank you! And I'm sorry you have to deal with Veronica as your manager. AutoZone she is TERRIBLE and you should reconsider her employment! Fairly new store that has only been open for about a year or two. Every time I've been in there it seems that what's on the shelves is all that they have. The staff has always been nice, but they're not the most knowledgeable. Your typical AutoZone. read more
