I called AAA a year later telling them that the battery was dead and could not take a charge. I tried to get in contact with ROSSI towing service in Santa Cruz California and they were rude and did not follow through with my request for getting a receipt or invoice for the purchase of the battery when they helped me on February 2025. To be more specific, when I called AAA for service, they sent out Rossi towing service and they provided me with a battery. Their customer service sucks! They did not help me and the woman on the phone was a real rude bitch! However, I reached out to Napa auto parts on Radio Road in Naples, Florida. NAPA is the business that I am supposed to reach out to to get an exchange regarding the battery. They were awesome! They were kind, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this auto parts store for not only battery needs but for all your auto needs. They were wonderful. They talked in great detail on how to keep my battery in a healthy state and even referred me to another source for a battery charger that they recommended because they did not have it in stock. If you hear any negative reviews about this particular store, disregard them. All you have to do is walk in there and talk to them and you'll see how nice they are and willing to help you. It's as simple as that. They were great!

I thought this may have happened during delivery but was shown pictures from the delivery person of this defect existing at the dealership before it was transported. I communicated this to the dealership and was completely blown off. After all the hype about BMW certification and that they go over every element of the vehicle, this obviously got missed but they would not honor taking care of the repair. I would not deal with this dealership again as this is not the proper way to do business.

For a first time customer, you need to know to park your vehicle by the entrance to the office. They appear to service the fleets for a number of businesses, so the parking area around the garage is most always full. Don't park in front of the entrance to the work bays. They don't schedule appointments. I show up at 7 am, when they open, and over a five year period they have always completed my service by close of business that day. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule, but that has been my experience. When parts are needed, they often arrive in the afternoon. They will call you when the vehicle is ready for pick up. To me their pricing is fair and honest. I want quality work and I'm willing to pay for it. A friend of mine suspected her dealership was overcharging her and asked if I knew of a good mechanic. I took her to Voigt's and they were able to perform the work for much less. They are a good place to go, if you want a second opinion. Voigt's pointed out to me that my truck has a broken bolt on my exhaust, so there is an exhaust leak until things warm up. They said it really didn't hurt anything, so it's a repair that I am choosing to put off. As to my reviews always being positive. For a number of years I benefited from the reviews of others and found places I would have never know existed otherwise. Then I decided to submit reviews. I use Yelp to find good places to try. I figure that's what you are looking for too. You're not looking for a bad experience, but we all experience bad ones from time to time. It could be my bad day and not theirs. The work really couldn't be better, they welded cheap stainless steel without a leak. And got me back on the road within a day. Good businesses like these are far and few between down here in Naples. Especially without breaking the bank. They even gave me a complimentary car wash and vacuum. Autoworks has went from a stranger shop to the first people I'd call for exhaust work. 10/10

Recently, I moved to Naples and was looking for a mechanic I could trust, and based on internet reviews, I decided to have them do a repair job that included adding two studs to a rotor that snapped off. The stud repair was completed, and pricing was roughly price 380, basically dealer cost. ok no problem so far. Next job, I ask them to check why the car was making a whooping sound while driving. After the initial investigation, they issued a work order that consists of 4 outstanding problems. Before having them check, I did some preliminary investigation on my own. Having a family auto business in New Jersey, I'm familiar with car issues. I want to know if they're an honest mechanic I can trust with my cars. The answer is NOT ON YOUR LIFE!!. After their evaluation, I took my car to another facility and paid to have them look at the issues noted in the central auto reports. With the understanding that I would also inspect my vehicle with them, which they agreed to. They were slow that day, so actually it was 3 of their mechanic and me under the lift going through the entire suspension system and evaluating the central auto diagnosis of car issues. 2 of the issues were legitimate, 2 were not. The 2 made-up issues to repair would have cost an additional $1036 to someone without my background in automotive. That's a lot of money that most people would have paid to have their car serviced there. I wish this review could have been positive, and I would have preferred not having to spend another 150 dollar to verify what I already knew. So my conclusion would be find someone else, keep your money in your pockets, not theirs. Richard

I arrived at 8:30 a.m. as scheduled and was told by an employee that the installer was running late. About 30 minutes later, I was told they would begin the installation anyway and calibrate the device later. After waiting until approximately 10:25 a.m., I was informed that the installer was not coming at all. I lost nearly two hours of my time and had to reschedule. My rescheduled appointment was on July 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Before leaving for the appointment, I called at approximately 8:19 a.m. to confirm that the installer was there and that arriving at 9:00 a.m. was appropriate. I was told everything was fine. Due to traffic, I arrived about 10 minutes late. After I arrived and began completing the paperwork with an employee, the owner entered the office. I greeted him, but he immediately became angry, raising his voice and stating that my appointment had been at 8:30 a.m. I explained that I had called that morning, confirmed the installer was present, and confirmed my arrival time of 9:00 a.m. The owner then asked whether I had a ride home. I said no because I had previously been told I needed to remain on-site to receive instructions. He then told me the installation would take all day, that my vehicle might not be ready until 5:00 p.m. or even the following day, and that it was a very complicated installation. When I mentioned that the installer had not shown up for my original July 2 appointment, he replied, "Yeah, that was me." Before I could continue, he began yelling at me, told me to "get the hell out" of his office, stated that he would not install the device, and continued shouting as I gathered my belongings to leave. During the exchange, the employee who had been helping me left the office. I felt intimidated and unsafe, so I left as quickly as I could. As I was leaving, the owner continued yelling additional unpleasant comments at me. I understand that schedules change and delays happen. However, there is no excuse for treating a customer this way. This experience was unprofessional, intimidating, and completely unacceptable. Because this is the closest Smart Start installer to where I live, I was disappointed that I was left without a nearby option. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision when choosing an ignition interlock installer.

8/2/26 update: Raised experience rating from two stars to…read morefour stars. We received another follow up phone call message from destination assist, with an update they felt have solved issues. When called back representatives were able to renew subscription and reactive destination assist service. FYI based on past use, give destination assist app in car a five star rating. 7/28/26 we went to Germaun Lexus service department, at the dealership, to have them reactivate Lexus Destination Assist ; and second give a quote for new tires. Service department has no problem giving quote on tires, letting us know they were in stock, and wanting us to install today, hard sell and questions what would be reason for not install today. Back to original request: quote on tires and reactivate live agent destination assist I wanted a quote on tires only I wanted Lexus dealership to reactivate destination assist. Doing this type of stuff can be challenging for a novice. We went to Lexus since that is within there expertece. Service rep we asked to sit in car and install, exited when phone rep said app is down , could not connect or inter new credit card payment info, put in ticket and will call back when there side fixed. While in car driving home from dealership, destination assist rep Called Us back and accomplished nothing. Extream aggravation felt by us.( Such as when clicked on app to install,directions said swipe left, and just words, nothing happened. ) So why call us if can not update payment or reactivate subscription? Again this seems like a service dealership should be able to do.
