I bought a motorcycle battery that went bad in a few months, I didn't go back until about 4 months from buying it. Unfortunately it is warrantied for only 3 months.a die-hard battery. I didn't want to replace it now being I won't under the bike over the summer. I asked for my core deposit refund. They said I'll get it when I buy my next battery. That does not make sense. I'm not going to carry the battery around, so I leave the battery and I'll be paying full price in the full. Makes a lot of sense, thanks, advanced auto. I won't be going there anymore. read more

This place is awesome. Found out from the dealership that i needed a new car battery and they wanted $360 to replace and $75 to clean up the terminal corrosion. I came here to do things myself and only spent $230 on a battery, free installation, and the employee cleaned the terminals in 5seconds for free. I pulled up to AAP to buy a replacement headlamp for my KIA Sedona. Ryan, the clerk and knowledgeable associate quickly found my replacement bulb. I popped the hood and without hesitation he brought over the tools I needed to replace the bulb myself. First, I thought this would be an easier project however it resulted in taking 35 minutes to replace the bulb. I'm thankful that Ryan was able to assist me with the tools necessary for me to complete the job onsite without having to take the car to a dealer to replace. After trying to leave my house Saturday morning and not being able to start my car, I halfway diagnosed/fixed my problem and headed to the nearest parts shop which happened to be this Advanced Auto. I didn't catch the name of the worker there who helped me but he was great. He was knowledgeable and kind. Furthermore, he actually replaced the battery cable I needed right there in the parking lot quickly and carefully with a fantastic attitude. I don't think most realize how really big Advance Auto Parts is, but with over 6,500 stores (only 1,300 of them independently owned) and having over 70,000 employees and doing over $9.75 billion in sales, they're a pretty big deal. But, of course like most big box or chain operations, if you've seen one you've pretty much seen them all. However, maybe just an illusion, to me this store seems larger, better laid out and is most definitely more customer friendly than the other Advance Auto Parts I've visited. For example, one of the things I was looking for was a double sided tape. I had selected one and then a store employee asked me what I was going to use it for. After I told him, he said that what I have wasn't what I really wanted and led me to something better. That, for me, was a real help, hence I'm going 4 Stars. read more

Mark was able to assist me quickly and honestly, by locating the type of wipers I needed and giving me options based on price (not just the most expensive). I bought a small 12v battery charger ($45) tried it overnight and it didn't charge my battery (1 month old), took it back and had it test by the store manager, after testing it in front of me he told me it worked but the test light didn't turn green as the manual explained, the manager refuse to exchange or take it back although I wanted to buy a more expensive one...what happened to customer satisfaction...they lost me as a customer and all my friends...stupid move on his part. Advance Auto was my store for years with any auto parts need, but lately it is turning to the useless place with careless people in it. One time I walked in the store and a soon as I asked the clerk a question his phone rang. Without any hesitation he just picked up the phone and started to talk and not to the customer, but the personal need. I was waiting for a while and just turned away leaving the store when he asked me if I want anything. Really? The current incident just make me think if I even want to go to this store again as we have others close by. Few days ago I purchase the set of the spark plugs with advertisement for the $10 rebate with the purchase of 4 spark plugs. Installed them and started to fill up the form when I found out that in the receipts it says $1 per plug. Checked the website-$10 for 4. Got to the store asking the same person who sold me the plug. According to him yes, it is $10 for the set of 4, but $1 per plugs. Now I am wondering is my calculator is working correctly. After I told him that it is a lie he told me that he doesn't care.And it is not about $6 difference, it is about honesty and be responsible for what you are proposing or offering. Tomorrow the best parts will turn out to be the worse can be and can lead to the big problem. Sorry, but I don't need to be lied for my money, I will use them in other store especially AutoZone or O'Reilly's are a couple of minutes away. read more

This advance auto is 5 star some days, it depends who's working. Yesterday 9/8/17 was a 2 star day, I ordered some parts online went inside browsing giving a little time for my online order to process, I had asked 2 different guys if they could scan my vehicle when they get a chance, being considerate of how busy it was but in reality there were only 6 customers in the store so how busy is that! "no problem" I was told, let the dude who is scanning vehicles finish w/ the customer ahead of me, I patiently waited a half hour then I went back to counter to pay for my online order, I asked again about scanning my vehicle I was told it would be 45 minutes because they were tied up installing batteries for other customers, my problem is all those customers came way after me the employees kept pushing me to the back of the line so to speak, this is why customers become a** holes, that's the only thing people respond too.. You guys were in the weeds with 6 customers, I wish I could have filmed it they were all frantic reminded me of a bunch of women lol read more
