My 2022 Cayenne was registering a tire pressure monitoring (TPM) issue. I called the service department to inquire about it and they said it was a "normal problem" and to bring it in for service. So I took the Cayenne in and they couldn't really explain why the TPM was registering low and sporadically but essentially just put air in the tires to "fix" the problem. They offered no explanation and when I asked if this could be a problem again, they said "probably." I have owned other luxury brand vehicles before and have never had this kind of vague and off-putting service experience. It really causes me to question whether I should keep this vehicle! By the way, they didn't even offer to wash the vehicle, which is something Lexus always did. read more

I signed up for yelp just to leave a review because of the poor experience I had. I can't stand yelp, but my Suncoast Porsche experience was so frustrating that I'm here. Walked in. Nobody greeted me. Approached a salesman (who didn't introduce himself) and told him I was there to look at a 718 Cayman, specifically to purchase a 718 Cayman GT4. He started to talk about something completely unrelated. I don't think he was listening at all. I tried to further express how much I love the 718 Cayman GT4 and he just walked away while I was in the middle of a sentence. Turned his back to me while I was talking. He went to greet another customer who walked in and never came back to me. The other customer wasn't even a prior contact! I stood there, looked around for 15 minutes... nobody in the entire place said a word to me. Nobody even made eye contact. Asked someone at a desk for assistance, he apologized and said someone would help me. Never happened. Stood around some more. Finally left after 25 minutes of being ignored. I have no clue what these people are doing. I came in ready to buy a car with no haggling or hassle. Cash in hand. I will never go back, and I can't imagine how poor the after-sales service is. read more

I had Inquired about a Porsche Macan S via truecar.com, the internet sales reached out and scheduled an appointment to check out the Macan S they had in stock. Decided to visit the dealership as a family since the car would be used as such and wanted to make sure it fits our needs. Walked in and was approached by a sales person who did not introduce himself(but later found online it was Marcus Kohout). He came out and asked if we were there to see VW cars ? Told him about my appointment I made with internet sales and which particular car I was interested in. He started talking about other base models on the lot. I kept Repeating that I was interested in a Macan S and I was told the dealership had one. He went to check with internet sales, came back to say they left for the day and he may have found the car. Showed me a locked car parked in the service bay. I told him I was interested in test driving. He said he couldn't locate the key and the car was returned with only one key. Service may have it and he will try to locate it. I asked in the mean time If I could take a look at one of the 2019 or newer Macan's on the lot. He told me " you need to make up your mind, I can only work on one thing". I told him I'll wait for him to Locate the key. While we we're waiting we came across another sales person he was extremely nice and professional and asked my kids if they needed anything and put the TV on for them. From the time I met Marcus I felt like I was bothering him and he was annoyed. Even though I was extremely patient with him. He kept asking me on occasion if I ever drove a Porsche before? I responded each time and said I haven't driven a Macan before. Finally, after waiting for quite a while for him to locate the key. He came out and said the car is ready and cooling down. When we walked to it I immediately recognized it was a Base Macan. He didn't mention anything until I said that it's not a Macan S. We decided to do a quick test drive and returned the car within few mins. He said there's a Macan GTS but I cannot look as there's a recall on it and we left. Overall, we had higher expectations from the Porsche dealership as we received nothing but excellent sales experience at all luxury/non luxury dealers in town and elsewhere. I've had a genuine Porsche indoor car cover for less than a year, it's developed three holes so, frustrated, I left a review for this cover on Suncoast's website, where I bought the cover. Why not warn others of an inferior product? They reached out to replace it under warranty, the only catch being I have to cover shipping it back. Being a large, heavy, bulky item, I would get stuck with around $40 shipping (or more). I went back to see if they published my review, which they did not. A depressing experience. read more

Five stars aren't enough to describe the level of service I received from Damian and Mauricio the service manager. They worked on my 911s electronic problem that 2 other dealerships in two states could not figure out. This was the only shop that was able to diagnose,troubleshoot and fix my vehicles intricate malfunction all the while keeping me in the loop. They called or texted me regularly with updates. I called the dealership this morning to get price on a part for my 911. I gave the person the Porsche part number and was given a price that was slightly higher than the prominate on-line supplier. I repeated the price to confirm it and asked if the part was in stock and was told yes. I drove to the dealership to purchase the part. The parts clerk handed me the invoice which was ~ 30% higher than the price quoted on the phone. I challenged the price and was told that the price given over the phone was the on-line price. I didn't buy the part, instead walked into the showroom and asked for the general manager, who wasn't available and neither was the parts manager. Latter in the day I called the dealership and asked for the part manager by name to complain about my experience. Got voice mail. Then a woman, not the parts manager, returned my call and I explained what happened. I asked again for the parts manager. Final got the parts manager and had to reexplain what happened. All the parts manager could do was say - Hmmm, well we run both businesses ( on-line and brick and mortar) from the same location. You were given the on-line price. To which I explained - if I wanted the on-line price I would have gone on line to get the price, not called the store. There's was no effort or offer to resolve the issue for the customer, just "Hmmm." With the both businesses excuse. So, bottom line, when you call the dealership to get a price it's up to you, the customer, to ask which price your getting over the phone. This, in my opinion, is at best a deceptive business practice. read more

I ordered a set of GTS tail lights for my Cayman 981 - not only did they have the best price, it was free shipping. Unfortunately, one was damaged in transit and had a crack. In just a few hours Heather had sent me a return label, and as soon as I dropped the defective light off at UPS, she processed a replacement! Not only that, it was shipped expedited at their expense. The worst experience ever. I specifically asked for original Porsche battery and the sales person Charles said yes, it is original Porsche battery. I paid the same price as original Porsche, but they send me used recharged Wolkswagen battery with scratches everywhere. I could have buy better one from any car parts store here 1/3 of the price. I send it back and they did not return despite, they did not tell me the truth and I ended up paying $150+ shipping fee and all the hassle. A Really Poor Sales Experience I had a really poor sales experience today at about 2:30 PM. I went in to but a 2015 BMW M6 (about 63k) and there was one salesman talking on the telephone at one of the desks. I wondered around for about 10 minutes and even waved at him, got no response. I left. I will never buy from the Porsche part of Suncoast again. I have bought cars from the Cadiilac dealer, the Infinity dealer and the Volvo dealer, and I am talking to the Audi dealer. We purchased a new Macan GTS on 1-25-19, our first Porsche. It was simply our best automotive purchase experience ever. Our salesperson, Warren Hense, was phenomenal during the sale negotiations to the final delivery of the vehicle. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Porsche brand and Suncoast Porsche. During the entire time, he was very friendly, courteous, professional, and attentive. There was no high pressure and we never felt rushed in the purchase or the delivery process. This is the worst dealership in the nation. The service department always finds extra things that need to be replaced or repaired. I took my 2011 Porsche Panamera S with 57,000 miles on it in for service and was told I needed an additional $13,000 worth of repairs. I had not been having any indication of the issues that they recommended. I told them I didn't want the repairs. I left the dealership and got one mile away and lo and behold one of the issues blew and I had to be towed back to the dealership. Very coincidental. Also, the dash indicator warnings came on alerting me to another issue they had recommended. Was never alerted before I took the vehicle in. Very suspicious and disappointing. read more

Well, when I logged on to track the item, it had a delivery date of Thursday - a week later. The rep said "our site says we need 2 days for processing" What a joke. My wife and I purchased 2 cars at the same time from Suncoast Porsche and had a wonderful sales experience. The Service Dept, however has been a disaster. My wife has been treated very poorly by Michael, the Service coordinator. So, I took over dealing with having our cars serviced. I'm disappointed to say that after owning luxury cars of nearly every nameplate, this is the singularly worst experience I have ever had. Michael is rude and arrogant. In the past, I was able to switch to Howard, who has now retired. Rather than deal with Michael, I have found a very capable independent Porsche service shop called 9Haus. I will never deal with Suncoast Porsche again. We also own an Audi and have had a great experience with the Suncoast Audi organization but the Porsche side is AWFUL. The GM knows that it is a problem but has not addressed it. read more

Update: 1/29/18 Worked out the issues with the GM, Mark Cobb. Mark stood behind their product, took the car back and put me in the vehicle with the right options. I did pay the difference in MSRP but that was very fair to me. Very impressed with Mark's customer service skills and appreciate the work he put in to this. Winn Miller also helped make this right and I appreciate both of these individuals working to make this right. Back to recommending Suncoast Porsche. Often things go work in this world. Returning on the weekend having been away for several weeks, my new Panamera was leaking and needed diagnosis and repair. I called Michael first thing Monday morning. He asked if I could come in that afternoon. Arrived about 1:00 PM and he immediately had a technician diagnose a bad shock. Michael apologized about not having any Porsche loaners available, as there was a run on service loaners - in fact he said they were two weeks out for appointments! Nonetheless, he immediately called Enterprise and within 10 minutes I was getting a rental car - gratis. Granted it wasn't an equivalent car, but it worked. Michael called the next morning to say they had the part on order and should have the part the following day. The next day he called with the good news. I was able to pick it up and, while in the service bay, they also took care of a recall notice. Nice that I wouldn't have to drive back later. I think Michael and Suncoast did an excellent job taking care of what could have been a really obnoxious issue. read more
