The staff was sloppy & there was definitely nothing "quick" about the service, especially given that I was the only vehicle there at the time! The second time I waited 10 min at the desk before anyone bothered to wait on me, even though there were multiple workers doing nothing but stuff their faces with cheeseburgers. They clearly saw me, yet failed to acknowledge my presence! I'm beyond disgusted with these people & am even thinking of contacting the BBB after seeing how they allow employees to be under the influence on the job while working on their customers vehicles! No one was in front of me when I bought it in, so I was first in line and the service tech said: "We will get it right in." I had over $100.00 worth of groceries, many perishables, I asked the manager why it was taking so long - he said: "I don't know - I will check!" The tech working on my car was right in front of the viewing window! He was slow as I have ever seen! He kept putting his gloves on and off, changing his baseball cap with a hard hat and even took a break in the middle of changing my oil! Again I complained and the manager went to talk to him. Finally, after over an hour my car was done. The manager told me to go outside, meet the tech, get my keys and be on my way, which would be faster since I had already been detained too long. When I approached the tech for my keys - he angrily demanded that I show him a receipt! I said that I was fed up with the service, that he was way too slow and he had seen me waiting! I told him again to give me my keys! He refused and I said: " Get inside and let's talk with your manager - I am fed up!" Upon entering he towered over me, made a fist and a very threatening face! I told him to go ahead and hit me, as I would sue Walmart and there were plenty of witnesses in the waiting room! The manager told him to give me my keys and I left, very stressed out! Upon getting home I checked my oil level, as I was not trusting the angry service tech and found that he had overfilled my oil by over 3/4! I contacted Walmart Corp. They had the Service Manager call me an apologize and offer to redo my oil change. I asked about the tech who had threatened me and was told that the manager would be discussing the issue with the store manager! I told him that I did not feel safe for myself, or my car with that employee being around me! I never heard back from him. I complained to Corp. and a security employee called and left a voicemail - I responded, but have not heard back since! I suffer from anxiety and am very reluctant to return there when the person who threatened me is still there. Overfilling oil can damage your engine! I will never go to Walmart Auto Center again and suggest everyone check your oil after going there! My next step is to file a small claims suit against them for a return of my payment and damages as well as emotional stress and punitive damages!

While changing my oil, Dan and the tech, Nikolai, were able to find some other issues including my brakes, egr valve gasket and camshaft plug. They were honest with me regarding what they found and gave me a decent price without tryin to run me up which I appreciated. Overall, they did a great job with my car and they didn't try to push unnecessary work to be done on my car. I will continue to use them and I would highly recommend everyone else to as well. I'd been having recurring cylinder misfires for months. I'm no stranger to mechanical work and did…read moreeverything I could think of to resolve but needed another eye on it. We're 40+ mins away from the nearest BMW garage so I found Mike's Auto which is within 10 minutes. They specialize in import repair according to their site so I brought it in for a diagnostic. I just needed to know what they thought caused it and could probably do the repair myself. I'd already done turbos, O2 sensors, ECU, throttle body, Vanos, etc. The guys were very accommodating but communication was poor, I had to call for any updates or to find out they needed me to authorize a repair. Three weeks and $1800 later I pick up the car and don't even make it a mile before all the misfires come right back. This, despite their assurances that it was test driven multiple times. Right back I go. A week later I'm now told a catalytic converter was plugged and causing faulty readings for air/fuel mix, creating misfires. It made sense, the tech even sent me a video showing his gauge reading. He was confident. Cats were about the only thing I hadn't changed. They estimated 8-9 hours book rate so I took it home and installed some brand new cats myself (3 hours real time.) Car made it several miles this time before the same error messages appeared. So, the diagnosis was still incorrect. I won't be bringing it back. The guys tried hard but it's clear they don't possess any specific import knowledge or experience that will help me out. I've wasted $1800 to get back where I was a month ago, but with a pair of shiny new cats now. They're probably fine doing standard work like suspension or oil leaks but anything more complex seems beyond them.
