Definitely would not recommend anyone I know to come here.. I had a good amount of work done to my car and right off the start I've had some issues. My 15 sub blew about 1-2 weeks after install and yes it was brand new, had a lot of minor details I had to go back and forth to get taken care off, and just recently my trunk almost caught on fire because of some of the wiring. I had to pay to get all the wiring re-done (of course at another shop) and now it even sounds better than before. However, they do take responsibility and do warranty their work! Also the guys at the front of the shop are very friendly and take the time to explain most things to you. I am just tired of all the back and forth trips I've made and the fact that my trunk almost lit up so that was my last straw. Will never come here again with my cars. read more

I went in there to price a car stereo and came out with 0% financing, a brand new Pioneer unit with android auto, and a backup camera. The installation was about as quick as these things can go (about 3 hours). They bumped my car up near the front of the line, as it was a "simple" install and not anything that required custom fabrication. All parts were in stock (including my dash kit), and everything in my car worked perfectly. The cashier/sales lady went out of her way to price match the cost on Crutchfield's website (knocking $50 off of retail), and then was kind enough to drop my wife and I off at the mall while they worked on my Mazda. She even called to arrange pickup so that we weren't simply waiting outside in the heat. I have rarely seen service like this, and it is truly refreshing. Things like this are what allow smaller businesses to compete against big box retailers. I had considered going to Best Buy, but I am glad I didn't, as the selection was better, the staff went out of their way, and the service was amazing. read more

We took our suburban in on sunday morning to get a new audio system put it. My suburban is a 2007 and had very limited technology. I wanted a more updated system. I took my 2003 E500 MZB into this business on 03/10/2022 after I had previously purchased a stereo system from Advanced Car Stereo in Murrietta for $762, and it was not coming on. I informed the desk employee that there was a "Display Malfunction" message being populated. I sat there for three hours until they finally checked my car. Mind you, I was not given any estimate nor did I approve any "payment for work"; yet the technician fixed the problem in 10-minutes. I was then charged $100 for a diagnosis and a fuse replacement that was not authorized! This company operates outside the law and I intend to file a complaint with BAR to investigate their practices. At first everything was OK. I thought I was getting a great price on an in-dash navigation/DVD system and 2 Head rest monitors. I was talked into going for the higher model with blue-tooth features. Great got my truck back and had them go over the basic functionality of my new system. It seemed like the service guy didnt really care, he just wanted me out of there. Anyway drove the truck home and I tried to test the bluetooth calling and the Microphone doesnt work!! For the money I paid in cash, I wanted the system to be done right and on the first time!! So I go back and let the sales guy (JT) know my MIC on the bluetooth calling doesnt work. Ofcourse he was eating in the back because he still had food in his mouth!! He tells me come back tomorrow and we'll check it out. Absolutely horrible service. You want me to take another day-off so you can fix your F-ups!! Stop eating and check the problem while I was there!!! Now I am too upset to go back. The Bluetooth calling doesnt work still!!! I want to complete my system with a sub and amplifier but I will not come back here!! I urge everyone else to do the same! read more

Do not come to these hacks... go down the street to Audio Addiction instead. I was shopping for a new system for my 30ft RV and went here for an estimate. I specifically told the guy I wanted middle-to-high end equipment and that I'd be checking the net to make sure I'm getting a good price. Well he gave me a quote for the entire system, but all I remember is that he was trying to sell me the cheapest model Orion speakers for over $200 for each set (they are $50-60 speakers). I ended up getting a top of the line system from Audio Addiction for a reasonable price and their lead tech Daniel knows what he's doing and does clean work, and they will fix any issues for you after the sale. This place is your typical run of the mill car stereo place run by some ghetto hacks that know jack about customer service. Stay away! read more

Shopping for a dash cam they told me the brands they have one of which is one I had an interest in. Purchased and installed for a very good price. They did have to mount the rear facing camera on the back window after letting me know this was their only option. I have a Tundra the back window goes up and down. I guess I could unplug the camera to roll the window down how often do you roll the window down? But as soon as they told me I wanted to roll the goddamn thing down every 5 minutes but I digress. I found a bracket online to take the camera off the back glass and have it installed on a bracket that goes underneath the weatherstripping so the window could go up and down I asked them if the bracket would work the installer said yes. So I ordered it. After the bracket came in the mail I stopped in the shop it took them all of 10 minutes to take the camera off the back glass and install it on the bracket and mount said bracket no charge. I can't say enough about them and my experience there. They did a very good job from the sale, scheduling to the install. So now I can say I have a stereo guy. And that is best review for a shop I can give. read more

I would give negative stars if possible. I had taken my vehicle there to have an after market alarm and cd changer removed. When I picked up the car it was kind of a mess but OK I was in a hurry and they didn't even go out with me when I picked it up. Then I got it home and the ignition bezel was broke, the trunk light was out of place and the issue caused by the alarm was still an issue. I had to leave town so I couldn't deal with them on that day. I ended up taking the car somewhere else and these guys hadn't even taken the alarm out. They did cut some wires and made a bigger mess. These guys had been complaining online that they never get the chance to make things right so I stop by and try to get it resolved. I didn't ask them for any of the additional repairs that they contributed to or anything else. What I asked them to do was refund the money for the work they obviously didn't do. I showed them the invoice for the alarm removal from the second company. What I got in response is a smart ass that couldn't care less about what had happened nor taking his responsibility. Like I said I didn't ask for anything else but a refund on what they didn't do and were paid for. He gave me a bunch of double speak about 2 alarms. I clearly told them I wanted the after market alarm removed. No apology, no refund, nothing but BS Moral of the story is that when you see these reviews give them some heavy consideration. The guy, who appears to be a manager (I won't be descriptive), is a piece of work who does not care about honoring their work or a business reputation. I can assure you that this one incident has cost them a lot more in business and reputation than the refund would have. Since then I have gone to a competitor who is reputable and am spending several thousand dollars on audio and alarm systems. read more

The customer service is good but the attention to detail of the install is unsatisfactory. I got a simple double din install along with a back up camera on my car. The wire for The Bluetooth mic was left untucked under the glove compartment. The weatherstripping along the door jambs were not properly latches back together, the a pillar on the driver side was in the same predicament. I had to button it up properly myself. The techs don't care if they leave hand prints on my tan interior. The placement of the rear camera was an after thought and also misaligned. read more

SUMMARY: I couldn't recommend this shop any more strongly. I brought my vehicle to them for a complex job which over 50 shops had told me was impossible (1 shop said they could do it, but that I would lose a lot of the features I wanted to keep and it would cost $3,000+), and even though we hit a few speed bumps in the process the finished product is AMAZING. Other notes: * Able to do what 50+ other shops told me was impossible! * Maybe the most knowledgeable personnel I've ever encountered * EXTREMELY friendly and awesome staff * Large shop with tons of inventory, though limited on powered-on displays * If you need a complex job, make sure you give them time to do it. The end result is extremely high quality - but quality and detail takes time, too! DETAIL: I bought a 2015 Honda Crosstour EX-L in March of this year. The car has a weird but very cool dual-screen setup, with cameras displaying on top and the stereo in the middle of the dash. I was worried that my preferred stereo equipment would not work in the car because of the dual screens (not to mention it uses a CAM BUS and integrates a lot of crucial features into the stereo), but when I called 4 car audio shops near where I lived at the time, three told me they could "definitely" do the work. So I bought the car ... annnnnnnnnnd of course, all 3 shops then told me it could not be done!!! After pouting for a couple of weeks, I got to work calling every car audio shop in SoCal, trying to find someone who could do it. After about 50 phone calls, I spoke with JT at Advanced Car Stereo. JT not only told me it could be done - he said that they had done it several times, and provided me with enough detail that I believed him. It was an expensive job which entailed about a day and a half of work - but at this point I was excited to find someone who could do it, and had no qualms with the $1500ish price tag (which included a small 5 channel amp and an 8" kicker sub to replace the weak factory one). From the beginning, JT stressed that he needed time with the car, but I pushed him to get it done faster since I lived far away and was going to have to rent a car. The job was completed on schedule at the end of the fourth day, but there was a laundry list of problems having to do with lost functionality, appearance of the fiberglassed kit and so forth. I scheduled an appointment to come back in a week later, but asked for same-day service and then I got stuck in traffic and arrived late. Still, they were able to fix a few of the simpler problems - but didn't have enough time to handle the complex ones. So we set a third appointment for a future date when their lead installer had returned from surgery, and when I had time to leave the vehicle for a few extra days. Now you might think I was unhappy at this point, but I really wasn't. It's true that the job was far from perfect - but the system DID work, which everybody else said was impossible, and the staff were extremely friendly and trying very hard to correct the issue. In all honesty, I think they were more concerned with the issues than I was. I kind of went into this expecting it not to be perfect, all things considered - but they are perfectionists, and didn't like the idea that it wasn't. Anyway, I returned for my third appointment this week. As had been the case before, they stressed that they wanted some extra time with the car. We agreed on four full days (with a fifth half day if necessary). As the car was nearing completion, the installer (James) texted me photos and kept me updated on when it would be completed. And when I got to the shop to pick up the car, my jaw pretty much dropped. It was a night and day difference. Even though, as mentioned above, I was willing to accept the install as it was (I just wanted the bugs worked out) they did a complete tear-down and reinstall, and this was absolutely amazing. The install literally looks completely factory, with every feature now working perfectly, and the stereo tuning had been improved, giving the car a richer and more vibrant sound. Even though it took a while to get it done, the finished result far, FAR exceeded my expectations. It's hands-down the nicest, cleanest install job I've had in any vehicle I've owned (and I've owned a lot) - and that for a job which everyone else said was impossible. (BTW. in case you're wondering, the only additional expense incurred after the initial installation was just a few tips - and honestly I wish I'd had enough cash to tip James more than I did at the final pickup, because he did such an amazing job!) Anyway, bottom line: these guys are truly the best, with two different installers who were both able to pull off an 'impossible' job, and they have an absolute commitment to perfection which commands respect - and our business! read more

I called on a Sunday to see if they could install 2 12 inch subs in my camaro after I just called every sub install place within a hour 15 minutes of Oceanside and they were the only place to tell me they could. I work Mon-fri and go to college so I don't have a lot of time. I don't have a RCA input on my stock head-unit so I thought I needed a whole new head unit which they informed me a way around it. They told me the process and everything they were going to use. They have a entertainment area in their waiting area and have financing available which was great. My subs sound great and they replaced the front door speakers with kickers to match. I have a knob to even mess with the bass. They did a great job and turned it as much as I could to test the speakers. They sound wonderful and couldn't be more happy with the set up. They let me know when they were almost done and even worked AFTER hours to finish instead of making me come back another day. They were super quick to help me & were extremely friendly. It took awhile to finish but they did a extremely great job with everything even hiding the wires. 10/10 only bad thing I could pick out was they didn't have the best service (cellular service) inside but they can't help that and that's me trying to pick out something bad. They have a huge selection of amps,headunits, and speakers. They told me they could do my car late on a Sunday and they delivered on their promise. No Excuses or rushing their work.
