They gave me some options. They suggested I might want to check with a local Honda dealer to see if there were updates. In the end the system seems to be back up after several weeks. I do have a reasonable quote on a part if I need it in the future. The consult was no charge, and these people were truly honest. Great customer service! If you haven't tried using Yelp to acquire quotes from businesses such as dash cam and installation retailers, it's pretty convenient and many service type businesses will reach out to you. After sending an inquiry about purchasing and installation of a dash cam, one of the first businesses that reached out to me was DV Audio and Customs. Besides DV Audio, several other businesses contacted me and I immediately decided on DV Audio because of the professionalism and thoroughness of Dennis and Paola. They answered several questions I posed to them and although I probably could have shopped around for a better deal, I decided to have DV Audio take care of my dash cam need solely based on the professionalism and customer service, but besides those much clamored for qualities, I got even more once the job was completed. DV Audio is located in Escondido specifically within a small business park where other service type businesses are located. I don't remember if there were other tenants, but as soon as you turn into Wineridge, you'll turn right into the first driveway and you'll see the DV Audio signage. The exact address for DV Audio is 2080 Wineridge Suite D. The shop can be found by taking 15 North or 15 South exiting off of Valley Parkway and heading west. There are two parts of Escondido where car dealers are located, which is the east side and west side of Escondido. DV Audio is located close to the west side of car dealers. I received great customer service from Paola from start to finish for my dash cam project. Prior to setting up an appointment with DV Audio to have them install a dash cam, I stopped by their shop to ask them questions. The primary thing I wanted to ask them was whether they price match because at the time, Amazon Prime Days were going on. My intent was to buy a dash cam on Amazon and then have DV Audio install it. When I asked about price matching, Paola informed me that they do price match on a specific Red Tiger dash cam, but not on the higher end Red Tiger dash cam. She also informed me that it would be better if I purchased the dash cam from her because then it would be under warranty, which was great information to have. Another reason to have work done by DV Audio is that their business is military veteran friendly and they do military discounts for Army Veterans like me. If you pay cash for the work they do, there is a cash discount and who doesn't like savings. Besides all of these positives, they are also efficient and respect people's time. I dropped off my car at my appointment time of 9:30am and I was notified that they were done at 10:44am. When their technician was installing my dash cam, they found rust build up on the inside side wall of my dash, which I would have never found if not for their technician letting me know. This information was invaluable because I'm going to have the car dealer check it out. Lastly, Paolo provided more quality customer service after the work was completed by spending time with me going over the features of the dash cam. If you're ever in the market for a dash cam and installation of that dash cam, before you purchase, I highly recommend you contact or visit DV Audio and Customs to purchase the dash cam and have them do the installation. Customer service, expediency, and thoroughness from start to finish is why they should be the only shop you visit for dash cam service. I also noticed vintage cars in their shop, so if you own vintage cars, you might want to check what type of service they do for vintage cars.

I was a bit hesitant because I wasn't sure that would give me the results I was looking for, but WOW it was exactly what was needed. The sound system sounds amazing now. Very clear highs, great lows at any volume. I am only using the subwoofer to about 1/8th of it's ability and it's amazing. The woofer is completely hidden under the cover in the boot of the vehicle, so it doesn't even change the look of the car.

Last year, he decided to branch off and focus primarily on mods, custom builds, and speciality work on Subarus whiling changing the name of the business to RFC Industries. In doing this, he sold the service side (oil changes, tire rotations, basic repairs, etc.) of his business to 1st Choice Autoworks. So I've been coming to them for the non-off roading specific stuff that Chris still does for me. Luke and everyone else here is incredibly kind, knowledgable, and professional. This past weekend, I panicked since I'm leaving for an extended work trip (1.5 months) which involves my heavily modded Subaru Forester and I had an axle issue days before I was supposed to leave. I texted Chris over the weekend and he said come to 1st Choice by 8:00am on Monday. I didn't have an appointment, and just showed up. And this isn't my style. I'm usually so highly organized and do my best to be respectful, schedule appointments, and go through the proper channels. But I woke up at 6:00am and was in Murrieta by 8:00am. I explained my situation and they were so accommodating and understanding and kind. It took all day but they helped me out and got my car back in good health and I'm so thankful they were cool with me just showing up. This shop is trustworthy, professional, and now is really familiar with off-roading and modded, lifted Subarus due to SubiWorks' and Chris' involvement. The workmanship was excellent, and the car came out clean. Unfortunately, I later got a rock crack in my windshield. Frank was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He responded quickly to messages, answered all of questions, and worked with me to keep the cost down. He gave a very fair price on a new windshield, recalibration, and reapplying the XPEL XR Plus windshield tint. What stood out most was the staffs professionalism, transparency, and customer service. Frank was upfront about all options, explained the difference between OEM and aftermarket glass without any pressure, and it was very easy to make the decision that made the most sense. It's hard to find a shop that genuinely cares about taking care of its customers, and Faith Auto Glass has earned my business. If you're looking for quality tint or auto glass work, I highly recommend them. I'll definitely be coming back for future projects.

He gave me JR's phone number, so I gave him and call and booked an appointment to bring my car in the following week. I live about 50 miles away, but I'm not afraid of driving long distances for solid work. I also own a business so I love connecting with other business owners who are really good at their trade / industry and learning about how they handle their workflow. JR was super kind and kept me informed the entire time. Carlos, one of the employees is awesome too. They helped me with everything I needed to get done in terms of electrical on my Datsun...from backlights, censors, gauges, reviving a working OEM vintage tape deck, and much more. The whole process took about a week. JR and Carlos also installed a new dash cam on my Subaru Forester. I was able to hang out at the shop, get to know them, meet Coco, and chop it up with them. Came out early the next day, made things better (don't believe those who say 'crack will disappear', it's a bit optimistic). Crack now is nearly invisible, as expected, and saved me a bundle. I just have to say WOW!! Wait until you see and feel the difference!…read more I bought my place a few years back and every year when it starts getting hot I dread it. My kids and I will run the air rarely, only on the hottest of days/nights or mostly sleep downstairs half naked when we want to have a lower utility bill or save the planet. I was talking to my friend who owns a large commercial building about saving money, going solar, etc. He told me he was tinting thousands of square feet of his windows because of the energy savings and short time frame for a significant return on his investment. He referred me to R|C who is now helping homeowners and residential customers achieve similar savings! R|C returned my call promptly and basically answered all of my questions as well as gave me an easy to understand tutorial about window films. I didn't know the type of film and the type of glass need to be considered for not only the highest energy savings but also for safety reasons. Too many people consider the darkness of the tint but not the properties of the tint. If you put the wrong type of tint on the windows the heat can't dissipate properly and the window can crack. Some tints are more reflective than others and some tints are clear but reject more heat so it won't alter one's beautiful view! The installer came out to my house and was very punctual. He had all of the tools and didn't require anything of me to get started. Sometimes people want to use the bathroom, get a drink of water, plug in their equipment using your extension cords, etc. R|C was self contained, locked, cocked and ready to rock! This dude looked like Picasso/Bruce Lee/80's break dancer as he bobbed and weaved, washing and scrubbing the glass! After getting it ready he applied the tint with painstaking detail given the large arch window he was working on. All in all I probably had 11 windows tinted that face the sun. It probably took him @ 3 hours to do them all. My french doors were a bit of a bear but he was good natured through it all. I'm. A big fan of being meticulous and so is R|C. As he said, "you look out of your windows everyday. If I use the wrong film or apply it incorrectly you'll see it and then your talk about it so it behooves me to do it right the first time." Wise words my friend. At the end of the day my house feels 10-15 degrees cooler! My electricity bill is lower and I have a little more privacy given the level of exterior reflectivity. Look at me sounding like a pro! Thanks R|C for a job well done. I'll show and tell everyone! If you are considering ways to cool down your house call R|C Window Films and have them tint your windows. Start with all of the windows facing the sun first if you need to break it up in to phases. It is relatively inexpensive and when it is done right the first time you'll thank me!
